• Karl (8/5): Das Hotel kann empfohlen werden. - Soweit war alles sehr gut. Das Hotel hat eine sehr schöne Lage. Ferner sind die Angestellten sehr Service orientiert. Auch die Empfehlungen für ein gutes Restaurant im Ort ist kompetent. Dass am Dienstag und Mittwoch Abend die Küche geschlossen bleibt, entspricht nicht einem fünf Sterne Niveau. Es ist für einen Kunden nicht ideal, dass er diese Einschränkung erst vor Ort erfährt.

• Andrea (10/5): Great place for a retreat or an escape in Langhe. - This is an esquisite Boutique Hotel walkign distance from Monforte D'Alba and many Wineries. Staff super kind and our little dog is welcome ! Woudl be great to enhnce the amenities with a Turkish Bath on top of the Sauna. For the rest all went very well.

Die Lage mit der spektakulären Aussicht aus dem Zimmer ist hervorzuheben. Das Servicepersonal ist aufmerksam und stets bemüht. Frühstück und Weinauswahl lassen keine Wünsche offen. Sehr süss ist auch die kleine Sauna im Garten :) Zudem ist das hauseigene Restaurant Moda in der Dorfmitte fabelhaft.

• C3623BDjamesc (2/5): Reminds me of a Paris Hotel in the 60’s - The hotel was built for another era. The rooms are tiny, no room for two pieces of luggage. One small sitting chair, the bath area has not been updated, shower stall is the size of phone booth. Single sink only in bath area. Lighting in bath area is reminiscent of Times Square. Bar area has 8 chairs and two tables. One small sitting area is part of hallway to rooms. No food service on premises but breakfast is offered. Given the size of rooms and lack of meaningful public space the Hotel is not a welcoming place. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Das Zimmer ist geräumig (Standardzimmer). Allerdings unter der Dachschrägung jedoch mit genügend Kästen versehen. Der Service war sehr gut, das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück ist o.k. (man bestellt aus der Karte, je nach Wunsch)

Personal freundlich. Frühstück mit eher bescheidener Auswahl (dafür konnte man einiges bestellen). Kein Personenlift in die oberen Etagen.

• Keith (9/5): Great spot in the heart of Monforte D'alba. Very relaxing. Just what one needs. - The hotel was great. It is a smaller hotel than the grand entrance would suggest. Very quaint and comfortable. The staff was very nice and accommodating and the breakfast was also nice. Our dog enjoyed it as well! This is minor thing since everyone seems to figure it out after getting there is the pool area and size of the area to be able to lounge comfortably. It's not the fault of the hotel, but you just have to be prepared for a tight space for the sun loungers. I would not recommend kids.

Give your self a treat and book a luxe room with a terrace overlooking the village. Would not, however, recommend for disabled persons due to the fact that the hotel is located on a hill and a very steep walk down to the city center is necessary if you don’t want to stay at the hotel.

Zeer smaakvol gedecoreerd hotel met het meest fantastische uitzicht dat je je kan wensen. Rond het zwembad was het beetje krap om met bedje in de schaduw te kunnen liggen.

• David (7/5): We did not feel like it was a 5 star hotel. - Maybe the expectations were high after reading all reviews, but we have been to similar hotels in Piedmont that were 4 stars and feel this hotel was not as good. The biggest asset is that the hotel is located in the beautiful town of Monforte d Alba. Breakfast was very good and service in the morning was impeccable. Our room was on ground floor and we could hear breakfast preparation in the morning and people having breakfast. We didn't feel like five stars guests. The hotel restaurant is 6 minutes walk in the village. Basically the hotel doesn't have a restaurant on location. I don't care they have the same owner. I wish I knew that before, because some days after walking or biking all day, you just want to have a quick diner at the hotel. There is a minimal bar service in the evening, but very limited as the bar is attended by the person at reception desk who as well attend parking and if you need anything at the pool. Pool is small ( more than 3 people inside it felt crowded) with long chairs spaced by less than 10 cm. You could not move the umbrellas or long chairs, so you don't have much shade some part of the day.

Unique and beautiful setting and location, very welcoming and friendly staff,an excellent place to relax after a day out in the Langhe. Rooms with beautiful view and a delicious breakfast. We had a great time! Limited number of parking spaces. Restaurant Moda difficult accessible for people that have limited mobility. The restaurant has a beautiful setting and is very charming. We had however expected more of our dinner.

The staff really went out of there to make your stay good helping with reservations and anything you needed. Our room was small, but did have everything we needed. Shame not everyone can sit outside for breakfast, felt like those in the cheaper rooms got put inside.
