- Ron (10/5): - Tom and Maureen were excellent hosts; warm, personable and engaging. Our room and accommodations were quite nice. Tom's gourmet, multi course breakfast was outstanding and there was no shortage of snack and nourishment options. Lastly, the friendly visits of their 3 mannered rescue dogs, each with distinct personalities, was an added bonus.
- Sergio (10/5): - Tom & Maureen are excellent hosts and we left wanting to stay longer at this B&B. The house is beautiful and there are plenty of amenities including a variety of snacks, sangria, a coffee machine, and board games, to name a few. We were only able to enjoy the breakfast on our last morning there, but the food was amazing, fresh, and clearly made with love. I can't recommend this place enough and I hope to be able to stay here again sometime in the near future.

We really enjoyed the place , the conversation, the confort, but the most important, the BREAKFAST was the most amazing gourmet we have ever had .Tom, you are the best. The food was delicious. Maureen, the bakery OMG, no words, also snack fruit wine all day ,coffee and sangria This place it was so tastefully. Confortable and amazing.
- Phillip (10/5): Must try B&B - Very clean and comfortable B&B. Tom and Maureen treat you like family. Endless snacks and goodies a must stay.
- Kerry (10/5): - Tom and Maureen were the best hosts and we really enjoyed talking with both of them! Their place is so tastefully decorated and comfortable! When we arrived Tom showed us around and told us to help ourselves to anything in the dining area including a wide assortment of coffee, tea and snacks in addition to wine. Maureen had baked some organic apple butter scones that we couldn’t pass up and they were delicious and moist! We had never been to this area before so we drove around and went to Knob Overlook which had incredible views! The bed was comfortable as well! There are some outdoor areas to sit which I enjoyed in the morning while drinking my coffee but the breakfast was the most amazingly delicious gourmet breakfast we have ever had at a B&B! Fresh fruit was on the table to enjoy and it started with a caramelized baked apple with nuts and raisins and then a mango coconut strudel and both were so delicious! Tom then brought out the main dish which was over the top! I am not remembering the name of the egg dish since it was unique and gourmet with spinach, chèvre and was topped with cheddar and a balsamic glaze. It was served with fresh local bacon and rosemary roasted potatoes. We savored every bite! We would definitely come back!
- Pam (10/5): - Enjoyable stay. Very easy to come and go during the day, owners helpful with places to see and eat. room was clean and neat. Liked that we had a tv. Good central location for seeing area. Liked having the dining room stocked with coffee, snacks, drinks. And enjoyed the great breakfasts.
- Nury (10/5): WONDERFUL - This place offers even better service than a regular hotel. What a great hospitality. Breakfast so delicious; tea and coffee all the time, plus free snacks. Very close to the main tourists attractions in Poconos and Water Parks.
- NANCY (10/5): - We had a great stay. Very friendly.
- Elisabeth (10/5): Amazing location, service, and room - Highly recommend this B&B. The house was very cute and comfortable. There were free snacks, wine, and an amazing breakfast. The hosts are very nice and friendly. The location is also very convenient.
- Lyusen (10/5): - We recently had the pleasure of staying at Maurrocks - A Pocono Mountains B&B, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment my daughter and I arrived, we were greeted with the warmth and hospitality that you'd only expect from a long-lost friend. The hosts, Maureen and Tom, were incredibly welcoming, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.
The B&B itself is a beautiful, cozy retreat nestled in the heart of the Pocono Mountains. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between rustic charm and modern comfort, making it an ideal getaway for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Our room was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and offered all the amenities we could possibly need.
But what truly sets Maurrocks apart is the culinary experience. The breakfasts were nothing short of amazing. Each morning, we were treated to a delicious, gourmet multi course meal prepared with fresh ingredients. The dishes were not only a feast for the eyes but also a delight to the palate, showcasing a variety of flavors that left us eagerly anticipating the next meal.
Maureen and Tom's expertise in hospitality shines through in every detail of the B&B. They are not only excellent hosts but also wonderful people who go above and beyond to ensure their guests have an unforgettable experience.

The B&B is absolutely perfect in every aspect - beautiful surroundings, quaint interior with superb attention to detail to accommodate the guests and a super comfortable bed! But the 4-course gourmet breakfast had to be the highlight - amazing - we didn’t need to eat for the rest of the day! Highly recommended this B&B. Thank you Tom and Maureen- we’ll be back!

Offered restaurant and attractions in the area. We will 💯 return if the occasion presents itself.

-John & Carole B. Concord NH
- Christina (10/5): - Maureen and Tom were awesome hosts. Loved the home and their dogs. The breakfast was so delicious and home made. - Verified traveler (10/5): - Absolutely perfect :)
- Baboo (2/5): - There was nothing unique in this property. This is not what I signed up for. I really thought I was getting a room in a hotel with breakfast. It’s a private house renting rooms. There was dead rats in the courtyard next to the stairway. Dogs barking on the premises in the night. I booked for a Queen sized bed but that was more like a full size bed. The owner told me that the room which I booked was under renovation and he put us in an alternative room. I stayed the night and left early next morning. I told him I didn’t like the accommodation and that’s not what I booked for. I requesting my money for 2 nights back.
- William (10/5): - Literally the coolest people you’d ever want to meet running it, the breakfast was awesome, and the property is very well maintained. 5 stars all day.
- Marcos (10/5): - Very clean and beautiful.Lovely home and staff. Will recommend to anyone who wants to relax and getaway.

- Connor (10/5): Fantastic experience - It was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast and we were not disappointed and definitely plan to do it again after this fantastic experience! Our hosts were very friendly and personable and so were their dogs! Overall it was a great weekend getaway for a couple!
- Sara (8/5): lol let stay with the best scones we’ve ever had! - Had a lovely stay at Maurrocks B&B. The hosts have thought of everything we could have needed for our stay, and then some! We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast, with homemade scones and other pastries, a variety of delicious coffees and teas, and a well stocked fridge for consumption. The candy dishes all over the house were a tempting indulgence, and they were honestly the best scones we have ever had!
My only negative reviews are that the snow was not cleared fully on the front, walk and steps, making it difficult to navigate with suitcases. Also, the bed in our room was not attached to the rickety headboard, and it did not seem sturdy at all.
Other than that, the hosts were very lovely, and we enjoyed meeting their dogs!
- Michael (10/5): - Upon our arrival Tom the owner greeted us..he was very pleasant & friendly . Made us feel right at home lovely B&B

- Hester (10/5): - This is our first BnB experience in state, we like it very much, it is like a home away from home. Tom has many knowledge of the Pocono region, he is very helpful regarding where to hike, where to get the best meal. the breakfast is so nice, one could never get from a chain hotel.

- Mayumi (10/5): - Maureen and Tom. They are extremely nice owners. The property is beyond you can imagine as a bed and breakfast 'hotel.' Thank you, Maureen and Tom. We really enjoyed staying your place. Keep up with your good work! See you around. Mayumi
- Martin (8/5): - Outdoor seating also a nice fire pit which I utilized nightly.
- Martin (10/5): - Nice area and nice people here.

- Verified traveler (10/5): What a nice place to stay! - Wow. We really enjoyed our stay. I usually don't posts many reviews but this time I feel I had to. We stayed for 2 nights for our anniversary. We decided on a Bed and Breakfast to slow things down a bit and enjoy some time together. It is very close to many places in the area for dinner, drinks, and the casino. The BnB was clean, the service was amazing. The owner is very friendly and made a great breakfast.
We felt at home the second we walked in.
- Dale (10/5): - Maurrocks Bed n Breakfast was great! Tom and Maureen were terrific hosts and the breakfasts they made each day were amazing! Will be back!
- Spencer (10/5): - Tom and Maureen were outstanding hosts and the breakfast was outstanding. They went out of their way to make our stay special. We will stay there again the next time we are in the Poconos.
- Debbie (10/5): - Tom and Maureen think of the little details and provide all that you could possibly need. The setting is beautiful and i can't wait to return during the fall! And their dogs are super sweet!
- Linda (10/5): Much need get away - What an amazing place the owners were very pleasant and very accommodating the breakfast was delicious I would definitely recommend this place
- Amy (10/5): A true Poconos Gem - Tom and Maureen are the best! The stay was perfect from start to finish. Their home is cozy and warm, our room was well furnished with lovely personal touches (we stayed in the Art Deco room), and the breakfast each morning was personalized with care taking into account dietary restrictions. Everything is home made - pastries, beautiful quiches, frittatas, etc - and there are also snacks available throughout the day. Maurocks is close to everything the poconos has to offer and Tom is always available to answer questions about the area and give recommendations.
We loved our cozy weekend away in the Poconos and can’t wait to return.
- carl (6/5): - love the owners.the room needs black out curtains it only has blinds and the light comes into the room fast and early and then sleep is over.also the bathroom is outside the room where the other 2 rooms have their bathrooms within their rooms(only 3 rooms total in this bnb. that was a big problem for us because the doors stick and when u open it 3am to goto the bathroom it makes alot of noise and im scared half naked in the morning I will walk into someone not cool.the dogs are beautiful they will never bother you a pure joy.i like bnb for their personalized romantic feel but my lack of sleep due to the light and thin walls I heard them making early breakfast made me very cranky.the breakfast is great if you like what they cook and aren't picky like I am.i needed to ask for my own omelet which they did for me no problem. overall changing the bedroom and closet doors and putting up curtains in the room to block the light you will like it.the bathroom I don't see a fix unless the renovated it and closed it off.goodluck hope this helps you.
- carol (10/5): - Well tended property- enough spaces for a coffee and conversation
- Melissa (10/5): Where do I even begin?? - This was my husband and I first B& B and what an incredible experience it was. We decided to do a B&B for our 5th year wedding anniversary and we are so happy we did! Tom and Maureen were absolutely amazing host. We were greeted by Tom on arrival gave us a quick tour of the 1st floor of the home, were we would be staying, all the things that were available to us (food, board games etc) they have a stocked of frig of regular drinks, white wine (red wine was out) yogurts, snacks quick things to grab n go, explained our t.v. access breakfast schedule everything we needed to know.
1st morning we were greeted by Maureen who is such a joy! She served us an amazing breakfast and had some small talk with us which we enjoyed very much. 2nd and 3rd morning was with Tom who took some time to talk to us to after we were done eating. The food every morning was so good they also served freshly baked muffins different everyday. They provided home plates to have later in ur room or take with u when u leave.
They gave us suggestions on where we can go eat, things to do which we took full advantage of. We had an amazing time and definitely will be returning when the warmer months come around!
