Guest Reviews
- IOANNIS (10/5): Nice and clean - Spacey and clean room. Great location, close to many pubs, cafe, restaurants
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Stayed for 2 nights on two different bookings.
The room and bathroom is well maintained and clean. I Please have the kettles emptied and cleaned as a part of housekeeping.
- Verified traveler (6/5): One night stay in Drogheda - Great location as it's within walking distance of the town, the two ladies who work there are very friendly. Breakfast was lovely but no Irish breakfast available just continental, you could also have a choice of eggs which were deliciously cooked. The only downside for us was the double bed was very small, therefore we didn't have a great nights sleep.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The location was convenient. The breakfast was OK. The facilities were old and disgusting. In order to cope I pretended I was camping. I would NOT recommend this e.stablishment
- Verified traveler (8/5): Stay for the location. - Great location close to town center. Free parking. Hotel was a bit dated and you can hear some street noise. Continental breakfast only.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very friendly staff and great location for nearby shops/pubs
- Claire (10/5): - Really enjoyed our short stay in Drogheda! Roseville lodge is set in a great location, staff were friendly and accommodating especially Noreen who greeted us as we were leaving! Staff gave us clear instructions regarding check in and the fact we could do it ourselves made it much easier and speedier! Would stay again!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Did the job of a place to rest, nothing fancy. Food was good.
- Tony (4/5): Won’t be returning - Disappointed with lack of personal touch one expects with B&Bs. Arrival instructions by text. Did not meet any human until breakfast. We expected Full Irish breakfast and only became aware of Continental Breakfast on arrival in room. Blind in bathroom not working and floor in shower not properly cleaned. Toilet seat looked unclean and possible
Lay needs replacing. General decor good but carpets Looked to be in need of cleaning. Sheets not ironed and one was left wondering if they had been changed. Duvet very heavy for Summer use. Won’t be returning or recommending.
- Ashley (4/5): - If you like camping, this is the place for you! I booked a room with a queen bed and got a full. The mattress was the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever slept on. There was only enough hot water for one shower. The breakfast was just ok, my fiancé was very disappointed, you’d expect meat at an Irish B&B. The location was decent though.
- Peter (8/5): Overstuffed room. - The room was actually lovely but it seemed as though there was excess furniture stored there! There was an unused bookcas in front of a window and a spare bed in front of a beautiful old fireplace. It was on a rather busy, noisy street as well. The staff was personable.
- Herve (10/5): - Everything was great we had an excellent breakfast provided by a very friendly young lady, Ann
- L.Joanne (10/5): - I really enjoyed my stay at Roseville because the staff was delightful.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Did not Realize we had booked a budget room. Did not feel comfortable taking a shower. You heard every little noise and the TV all night from the room next door. The parking security light flooded the room with bright light numerous times waking me up. Housekeepers were fine and the breakfast was ok. Good location.
- Gail (10/5): Well recommended - Close to many restaurants. Parking area at rear of building. Very clean and comfy beds.
- Thomas (2/5): Dreadful Stay! - Absolutely dreadful stay! Room was not clean. Draperies, carpets, everything was dirty. Bathroom was filthy. Could not even take a bath or shower as tub was not cleaned! To top it off... bedbugs!!!! Disgusting property!! And no one greets you. Just acode for entry. There were no restaurants at all, and definitely NOT a safe area. Our worst stay in Ireland!!!!! Have stayed in gorgeous hotels, and tiny , beautiful B and B's all over Ireland. This was a HUGE disappointment. Do not stay here!
- Sean (4/5): Faceless and impersonable - When i arrived i had to use the intercom to be told that the access code to the b and b and my room number had been sent by text to me. i had forgotten my phone at home. The voice through the intercom gave me the access code and room number. I then had to find my own room. From once I "checked in" to when I left about 12 hours later, which was before a continental breakfast was available, I did not see the proprietor, a manager or staff member. There was no one available on the property to offer assistance or information or to ensure an enjoyable stay. The tarriff was charged to my card before I had arrived although I had chosen when booking to pay at the property. Definitely not worth the €70 I paid. The bedroom was comfortable and spotlessly clean However I will not stay here again and I cannot recommend it to others.
- Angus (10/5): - Anne who cooked my breakfast was a very happy and smiling lady and certainly most complementary to the visitors. Especially to someone of advancing years. Made my stay memorable.
- Ian (8/5): Overnight stay - Ok..
