• John (8/5): For what we required, the location was perfect and very comfortable. - Liked the quaintness, great beds. Door locking system is great! House was cold when we arrived, although the fire was set. The heater is very small and not very effective for heating the home. There was only 1 bathmat and 1 hand towel for 4 guests, no face washer provided. We found the address difficult to find, although after checking the emails, figured out that the entrance was from another street. This we found tricky at night.

• Katie (9/5): Great accommodation and location for sightseeing like Clare, Sevenhill and Mintaro. - Loved the location and the cottage which was home away from home. There was everything we required in the kitchen with the pantry and fridge well stocked. The bedrooms were lovely and beds comfortable. The only thing missing was a washing machine and dryer if staying for a week or more.

• Annette (10/5): Beautiful location cottage and garden - felt we stepped back into history! - Wonderful staying in a Cottage with such an interesting history. Loved the setting and the gardens. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Enjoyed sitting by the fire!
• Pam (10/5): Extremely comfortable home away from home. - The property was exactly what we needed after a long drive from Victoria for our Uncle’s funeral. So many lovely touches and we loved the step back in time.

• Angelo (5/5): Passable - Hot showers were good. Beds were comfortable. Electric blankets on the bed(they were needed) Happy with the location. There's a combination lock box at the front of the house and a combination lock on the back door. The pin code provided is for the lock on the back door. Only discovered this when I couldn't access the property and had to phone someone to find out that I needed to go round the back. Burra in winter gets very cold. The combustion heater provided is inadequate to heat the main lounge dining area. The house is managed by a rental company with a number of properties. They weren't always responsive to phone calls or messages.

• Sophia (9/5): Brilliant, relaxing, unstructured weekend with limited but adequate services relatively closeby. - Provisions were generous and good. We had also brought our own. Clearer instructions on how to access the property from the town of Burra.

• Janine (9/5): Superb - Everything was ready for us to walk in and enjoy. The fire was set, there was milk in the fridge. Lovely warm beds. Very well appointed kitchen.

• Lucy (8/5): really good. would recommend & would stay again. - everything was clean. it was a really charming old cottage. great shower. electric blankets on the beds was a great touch. kitchen was well stocked in terms of utensils and general equipment. wifi being available was really helpful. it was very very cold. the wood burning stove looked beautiful but it didn’t heat the house. the heat only reached about a foot away from the stove. the split system helped but the heat didn’t reach the dining room or the bedrooms at the back of the house. electric blankets on the beds were a really great touch though.

• Debra (9/5): Superb - Loved the history of the cottage and how quiet the location is. The stone wall, the trees and the numerous places you could sit outside. Definitely will be back and I loved Burra, the people and their gorgeous gardens.
