- Yu Hang (10/5): - Renovated traditional Japanese house, located near Gion. 24 hours supermarket within 50 steps, coin laundry within 30 steps. Very convenient for site seeing Only improvement I would recommend is better (and brighter) lighting Will recommend to other travelers

Roomy for our family of four adults; manager was very responsive to our requests; neighborhood offers nice dining and shopping, including a useful grocery store around the corner. Higashiyama subway station is very close, and Gion is a leisurely walk south.
