• Rana (9/5): 京都に来たからこそ泊まって欲しい宿です！ - 伝統的な作りでとても満足しました！ 雰囲気を楽しむことができ、海外からのお客様も楽しめると思います！ 2月の寒い時期に宿泊しましたが、口コミに寒いとあったので心配でしたが、床暖房と暖房がありリビングでは寒さは感じませんでした！ 寝室でも、暖房をつけて眠ると暑くて布団を脱ぎたくなるくらい暖まれました！ 伝統的な作りを大切にしていることがとても伝わりましたが、お風呂場が外からは見えないとは思いますが近くのお家からガラスの反射とかで見えないかが心配になりました！ 湯気で見えにくくはなると思いますが、屋根を取り付けるか反射しずらいものを使ったりして欲しいなと思いました。 道路沿いの窓や扉も、外から覗こうと思えば見えるようになってたのでマジックミラーなどの対策はどうかな？と感じました！ ですがとても貴重な体験ができ大満足です！ありがとうございました！

• Cs (9/5): Lovely apartman - Nice design and the floorheating is AMAZING :) No heating in the bathroom, but that is not a big deal.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - Property was excellent. Easy to trains and buses. Kitchenette was fully stocked. Had everything you need if you wanted to prepare your own food. Only problem is property is close to a busy street and tradfic noise during the dav is a problem. Other than that, highly recommend.

• Anna (8/5): Overall it was nice, however I would rather not stay there again. - Property management and ryokan style, located close to the center and a bus station. There is also a police station just behind the corner. Property was clean and prepared for guests, however it requires renovation. The walls are a bit dirty, floors are damaged, windows were not perfectly clean. Also the doors from the living door to the bathroom didn't have a locker. There should also at least a small table in the bedroom upstairs, otherwise all your belongings land on the floor. As apartment is close to the busy street, during the night it is a bit noisy.
• Xin (1/5): Absolutely horrible experience! It ruined my entire trip to Kyoto. - Absolutely not recommended! The hygiene standards are unacceptable, and the customer service is appalling. To make matters worse, I even encountered a racist attitude. Upon discovering stains on the bedding, along with various leaks and damaged furniture, I immediately contacted customer service. Instead of offering an apology, they tried to shift blame and downplay the inadequacies of their service. For the price, you can certainly find a much nicer hotel. It's not worth the trouble! Improve the level of hygiene and the quality of customer service！

• Betty (1/5): Bad customer service - Everything was rather shoddy. Dangerous steep steps from upstairs to downstairs toilet. No suitable for us. Could not stay there. Called the company offered to pay for part of the stay. They refused and took all the money. Left immediately and found another place.

• Adam (9/5): Unique stay in Kyoto - A beautiful house with traditional features. The bath is wonderful after a long day of exploring Kyoto. It is nice to be away from the main tourist areas but still very close to public transport so you can access them easily. There are lots of good food and drink options nearby, just wander around and walk in - it will be good! Owners were very helpful when answering questions regarding bike hire. The recommendations they provided for food and drink were also excellent (accessed via the iPad in the main room).

• Alva (9/5): very enjoyable - cosy and good design of the bath that you can still have the feel of open air onsen. the sitting area is a bit low and a small step may help in walking down to avoid potential stepping problems
• Verified traveler (8/5): Cute house stay in Kyoto - The house and concept is great though there are a few things to note before booking. It's very spacious. Use of kitchen and laundry is a bonus. Well heated. The bathroom is accessed by going outside and you can see right through so make sure the curtains in the main house are closed if you are with friends or family (no privacy possible from bathroom side). This was ok for us as we were a couple. The bathroom does get very steamy so it's difficult to bathe properly and wash after shower. Also, the toilet is downstairs whilst bedrooms are all upstairs. And you have to walk through one of the bedrooms to get to the other. The bedroom is also open and you can look through to living room so not hugely private. No double bed which is odd but one of the nights we went for the futons and that was perfect. Location is so so. Not much around so keep that in mind. You also check in close to Kyoto station but have to make your own way to the house afterwards which is a real hassle especially if you have lots of bags and of course the added fees for that. Service was great with the gentleman we dealt with. Had language problems with the lady and had to repeat several times until we gave up.
