- Janet (10/5): We highly recommend Griffith’s Cottage and will stay there again. - The cottage was really cute and quite spacious. We had everything we needed to be self sufficient during our stay. It was in a quiet location that lended itself to lots of interesting walks and we will certainly recommend it to family and friends.
- Duane (8/5): Very good - Very comfortable, great old school cottage
- Laura (7/5): Good - Thanks for having us stay in your cottage we had a lovely time x
Thank you for providing the wood for the fire it provided some lovely warmth and ambience in the evenings We just thought we’d mention that we found there were a lot of spider webs around and on pack up this morning we found some spiders in our clothes. It might be worth giving the cottage a spray before your next guests.
I also noticed that an additional $150 had been taken out of my account, I’m just wondering what this was for?
- Anthony (8/5): Very good -
- Cursaro (7/5): Good -
- Steven (8/5): A quaint and comfortable cottage in a charming historic town. - Our host, Sue, was very friendly and helpful and had the cottage warmed for our arrival. A lot of effort has gone into giving the cottage an authentic feel. The property is managed via an agent which created some confusion. Greater transparency would have been appreciated.
- Alexandra (7/5): Loved the general feel of the cottage, and would have been perfect but for issues above. - The location of the cottage was perfect. Bathroom and shower were clean and fabulous, the beds were very comy. The cooking facilities were a little disappointing. Note the frypan under the sink is dirty and rusting, and to reach the hotplates on top of the oven is dangerous to use if you are a little on the shortside.
There was rubbish under the beds in the twin room.
We had to clean out the woodheater before using it as it had a deep layer of ashes, and the crack in the glass of the door and the fact the door doesn't lock properly is also dangerous for people who aren't used to using woodheaters.
- Martin (8/5): Very good -
- Lorraine (9/5): Superb -
- Gloria (6/5): Pleasant -
- Natalie (9/5): Quaint little cottage, Burra North - Quaint little cottage and styled to match the period it was built in. The wood fire was lovely to watch at night and kept you toasty warm. 24" TV was a little small for my eyesight. But we didn't watch a lot of TV so it's was no big deal.
- Margaret (9/5): Thoroughly enjoyed. - Enjoyed the eggs in particular. Single bed not so comfortable as main.
- Wayne (8/5): Very good -
- Manglesdorf (10/5): Exceptional -
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The cottage has a cosy, historical ambiance, set in a beautiful garden. We enjoyed our stay very much. The pub, within walking distance was fantastic too. Our hosts and the locals are warm and friendly.
