Ein wunderbarer Blick aufs Matterhorn hat das Zimmer auch geboten. Das Frühstück war super lecker und es gab alles was das Herz begehrt (Leckeres Brot, Toast, diverse Eierspeisen, Panecakes, Müsli, Früchte, Joghurt etc.)

- Katarzyna (10/5): Great value, comfortable stay, friendly atmosphere- highly recommended! - The hotel offers fantastic value for money: my room was really spacious, with lovely balcony, offering great views to Matterhorn on one side. It is very clean and also with daily cleaning service. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I loved the bathtub: it was perfect after the whole day of skiing. The breakfast is delicious and with lots of choice. The location is very convenient, in the mid-way between 2 ski lifts, minutes from the main town area. They offer station pickup services and in my case due to train delay I arrived late. They very kindly still arranged the transfer . The team is very kind and extremely helpful, they provide lots of useful advice and information about the area, always with smile. I would stay there again and I can recommend staying there.

Very clean and welcoming environment. A little bit distance to the center of Zermatt, had to climb a little (<5 mins) to get to the hotel
- Traveling (7/5): Too expensive! - The view from the balcony was fantastic. The room was spacious. The staff was kind and helpful. The location is not bad but not in the thick of all activities/entertainment. Decent breakfast. It is walkable to the Station but difficult to carry heavy suitcases and walk there. My husband and I were traveling to 8 countries during this trip. Unfortunately, the trip to Zermatt was not planned well ahead of time and most hotels were fully booked. We chose Basecamp hotel from the available options. It turned out to be the lowest starred ( 2 or 3) hotel of our trip and the most expensive. We paid almost $1400 for two nights. I understand Zermatt is Matterhorn town. What was disappointing was that, on top of this humungous cost, they added a cost to pick us up and drop us back to/from the Station in their own van at a cost again - $44 + a city tax of almost $21!!! Agreed Switzerland is expensive, but the hotel could give their guests complimentary pick up and drop off when they charge you an arm and a leg for the stay there.

- Pascal (10/5): Perfekter Aufenthalt mit super sympathischem Personal und Gastgeber. - Das Zimmer Nr. 41 hat freie Sicht auf das Matterhorn 🥰. Die Zimmergrösse ist sehr grosszügig. Badezimmer modern. Den Teppichboden fanden wir nicht so „sexy“. Ein schöner, rustikaler Eiche-Parkett- oder Vinylboden hätte uns aus hygienischer Sicht mehr zugesagt.

Ficamos num quarto super charmoso, com varanda, o banheiro tinha teto de vidro. Tudo muito limpo! O café da manhã foi excelente também. Solicitamos o transfer na chegada e saída entre o hotel o a estação de trem. Foi tudo muito bem. Consideramos a localização do hotel muito boa, há algumas quadras do agito de Zermatt. Tudo foi ótimo, nada a colocar aqui.

Great included breakfast with mountain town vibes in the eating area. Staff was helpful with any questions regarding activities. Absolutely would stay here again. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und die Hotel-Einrichtung im Allgemeinbereich ist zweckdienlich, die Zimmer renoviert und etwas im alpen-chique eingerichtet und sehr grosszügig (entspricht den Bildern der Website). Das Frühstücksangebot ist vielseitig und ausreichend, der perfekte Start in den Tag! Es wäre schon wenn die Teppiche in den Zimmern durch Holz- oder Plattenböden ersetzt werden (Hygiene/Allergiker) und die etwas in die Jahre gekommene Sauna (das Angebot ist immerhin vorhanden) entweder ersetzt wird oder Platz für einen erweiterten Skiraum macht, denn als Wellness-Hotel würde ich das Basecamp nicht buchen, es bietet andere Qualitäten!

Le personnel est très accueillant et des petites attentions nous sont données tout au long du séjour. La chambre est magnifique, très propre et spacieuse. Une voiture depuis la gare devrait être mise à disposition des clients même pour ceux qui ne font que deux nuits.

Everything was spotless, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. They assisted me in arranging my ski pass, which made the trip much easier. During coffee time, they also served excellent coffee, which was a lovely touch. The breakfast was delicious with a great selection, and the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to stay for several days to ski and fully enjoy Zermatt.

- Michael (10/5): Memorable, inspirational, and relaxing stay - It seemed like the hotel and staff worked for you. Not only was everyone friendly and helpful, the housekeeping was exceptional and meticulous, the sauna and ski room were wonderful amenities, and the breakfast blew me away with how delicious and well-prepared it was. The bed was comfortable, the shower was clean and refreshing, and the balcony had an unforgettable view of the Matterhorn. They even include a taxi service to the Zermatt Bahnhof if you stay 3 or more nights! I could not recommend this hotel more. Thank you to everyone who made my stay so memorable and pleasant. This has nothing to do with this specific hotel, but the only thing I'd recommend is to have some earplugs for sleeping if you're a light sleeper. Après skiing in Zermatt often involves alcohol and people may sometimes be loud as they walk by or navigate the hotel as they come home for the night. The doors, walls, and floors are not thick.

- Sibe (9/5): I would definitely return. - The rooms were really comfortable and well thought out. There was a generous single sized bed with lots of space in my room. I particularly liked the wrap around balcony. The hairdryer was weak and took forever to dry hair but luckily I brought my own. The breakfast selection was okay.

- Stephen (10/5): Fantastic - Fantastic location. Opened door to look straight at the Matterhorn without any obstruction! Breakfast was great - including freshly made pancakes and omeletes. - Danielle Goldie Marquida (10/5): - The hotel and staff were absolutely exceptional. From the moment I arrived, everyone was welcoming, kind, and genuinely helpful. I stayed in the Summit room on the top floor, and it was perfect. The view of the Matterhorn was breathtaking, and I loved the glass window in the bathroom—it really added something special to the experience. The room was spacious, spotless, and cleaned daily. The bed was comfortably. Breakfast was included and had a great selection—not too much and not too little, just right. The location was also ideal, with everything within walking distance. I booked my ski lift pass directly through the hotel, and they even provided a 10% discount voucher for ski gear hire, which was a lovely bonus. Any time I had a question, the staff were more than happy to help. Overall, a fantastic stay, and I would absolutely recommend this hotel. Nothing. Everything was perfect!
- Skye (10/5): - The room was incredible, we had a gorgeous view of the matterhorn and the bed was so comfortable. The staff were beyond helpful, their attention to detail is unmatched and they're all so lovely. We would stay here again 100% if we ever return to Zermatt!
