Due to a very early departure hotel provided a nice breakfast roll with choice of two breakfast items on it and fresh coffee in a takeaway container. No hesitation to recommend hotel if need accommodation in the area.. That we were only staying the one night to facilitate cruising on PS Waverley from Kyle of Lochalsh the morning after our stay.

- helen (6/5): Wee Room Fine Once Heat Fixed But No Wifi! - Historic coach house. Common areas downstairs were welcoming. Staff were very good. The wee room was comfortable (once there was heat!) but didn’t have wifi! On arrival at 5:15pm, there was no heat in the bedrooms or corridors and it was -5C outside! They did get it fixed but it took another 3 hours for my room to warm up. There was no wifi in the room and the corridors leading to the room from the first floor were quite dangerous!

- Katrina (10/5): This hotel lives up to the reviews, and it's rating. Stay here if you can! - This was our favorite hotel while in Scotland. The staff, the food, the room, were wonderful. We ate in the restaurant both nights, and it was outstanding. Do not miss Nancy's Sticky Toffee Pudding! A man next to us had two of them, and I think he could have done a third; but after the ribbing we gave him, he thought better of it. The atmosphere in the dining room is casual, and easy to meet other travelers if you like to interact like we do. The breakfast was also good with very friendly wait staff. Morris was great, and fun to visit with in the bar. Take the river walk across the street, and go down the lane toward the castle hotel near the bridge. Quiet, beautiful scenery with lush greenery. The staff at the front desk gave us several places to visit, and couldn't have been nicer.

A firmer matress would have provided a better nights sleep. Dark furnishings do nothing to enhance guests feeling of wellbeing, when its dark and grey outside. Your furnishings need to lighten up. You have a beautiful building.

- Helen (9/5): Beautiful hotel but expensive - Beautiful hotel that has been renovated to a high standard. Our room was lovely and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed an evening meal in the restaurant too. Great location along the Great Glen Way too! Very expensive and breakfast was £25 each per person in addition to the room rate. It was nice but we both agreed it wasn’t worth that additional expense. WiFi very patchy and didn’t work well in the room.

- Mona (10/5): - Room, restaurant / bar and staff were great.We had a late check-in and we’d notified the hotel ahead of time so everything went smoothly. Please note there’s no check-in after 10p though so plan accordingly. The food was top notch and the location is central to a lot of great spots in the Highlands. Pitlochry is a nice stop too when coming up from Edinburgh. Unfortunately our trip was cut short due to bad weather that knocked out power. We stayed through the first night with no issue but the power and other services weren’t going to be restored quickly. There were many trees felled into the road so there was no sightseeing either so we came back to Edinburgh earlier than planned and had a wonderful time touring around the city instead.We’d love to come back to the Invergarry hotel and finish sightseeing in the Highlands again soon!

Sehr stilvolles Hotel - fast wie aus einer anderen Zeit. Steile und enge Treppe (kein Lift), wir waren im 2.Stock, die mit Koffern zu bewältigen nicht einfach ist.

I was alerted to the fact that there was no lift but negotiating steep stairs with a heavy bag was challenging but not impossible

Called in advance to warn that we may be late check in as we were reliant on ferries.. was told in no uncertain terms that if we didn’t make 10pm we would be locked out!! Luckily we made it!! Room Prices are extortionate but in line with the whole Scottish highlands £25 for breakfast??!! We had little choice when we booked so I guess, lesson learned

El personal fue encantador. Hay parking gratis y es un lugar de paso limpio y cómodo entre la isla de Sky y el lago Ness. Tienes restaurante. La cama y las almohadas son muy cómodas, la ducha tiene una presión excepcional y agua caliente sin problema.

We had booked the last room available which was very small and had sloping ceilings that we hadn't be warned about so kept banging our heads.

There is no phone service and the wifi is so bad that there may as well not be any – couldn’t even send a message… so if you need contact with the outside world this is not the hotel for you.
