• Filipa (8/5): Bom quarto no centro de San Sebastián - A mertxe é uma excelente anfitriã. Tudo estava impecavelmente limpo, sem absolutamente nada a apontar do ponto de vista da limpeza e higiene. Uma atenção aos detalhes que habitualmente não se encontra. Os produtos de higiene disponibilizados são de ótima qualidade, toda a casa cheira bem, as toalhas, o roupão, os chinelos de quarto, a toalha de praia, tudo superou as expectativas. E há café, chá e torradas todo o dia disponível. A localização é ótima, muito perto da estação de autocarro, da baía da concha e da zona velha. As janelas não oferecem boa insonorização por isso entra barulho da rua. Para o meu gosto, o colchão e a almofada eram muito duros, o que não permitiu o descanso que eu procurava, mas admito que é uma questão pessoal. A internet tem um sinal muito fraco. Como fui no fim de semana do festival de cinema o balanço da relação qualidade preço ficou negativo, embora não houvesse nada melhor para aquelas datas.

La stanza e le zone comuni dell'appartamento sono estremamente puliti e accoglienti, Maria ha davvero pensato a tutto e certi dettagli potrebbero essere di un Hotel a 4 stelle! Il terrazzino è una chicca e molto apprezzabile è anche la piccola fornitura per la colazione che viene messa a disposizione. Il bagno anche se condiviso lo abbiamo sempre trovato pulitissimo. Se si ha la macchina il parcheggio nei dintorni è tutto a pagamento, eccetto la domenica. Noi abbiamo lasciato la macchina nel grande parcheggio vicino allo stadio, si raggiunge in pochi minuti con i mezzi, attenzione però a controllare se ci sono partite o eventi per non rischiare multe o rimozione! Desde o primeiro momento fomos recebidos com uma hospitalidade excecional e sentimos um cuidado genuíno em cada detalhe. Há sempre comida disponível (café, águas, sumos, leite, cereais e muito mais), o que faz toda a diferença e dá um conforto especial. Tudo está impecavelmente limpo e cuidado, criando um ambiente acolhedor e tranquilo. Obrigada por nos fazer sentir em casa. Sem dúvida, voltaremos!

• celine (10/5): - Nous avons été très bien accueilli. L hôte nous a donné un plan de la ville et expliqué ce qui était à voir et nous a conseillé bars et restaurants. Elle est vraiment très gentille. Le lit est très confortable. Il y a beaucoup de choses à disposition divers petits accessoires, serviettes de toilettes et de plage. Dans le couloir café gâteaux et même de quoi déjeuner le matin. C est vraiment très propre. C est un peu bruyant mais le logement est dans le centre de ville, c est normal et l hôte met à disposition des boules quies. Merci pour ce séjour, nous le conseillerons à nos amis. Rien

• Martin (9/5): Liebenswerte Gastgeberin, gute und zentrale Lage - Wie von vielen anderen Gästen schon beschrieben: Mertxe ist super-nett und hilfsbereit und echt ein Magier im Umgang mit google translate :D Sie kümmert sich sehr nett um die Anliegen der Gäste und hält die schöne Altbauwohnung sauber und in Schuss. Das Gemeinschaftsbad entspricht allen Anforderungen. Die Lage der Wohnung ist sehr praktisch - nahe beim Bahnhof aber auch ein Parkhaus ist für die Autofahrer in ca. 5 Minuten Gehdistanz vorhanden. In kürzester Zeit errreicht man zu Fuß die Geschäfte und Läden der Innenstadt. Mitbewohnerinnen mit langen Haaren und täglichem Bedürfnis diese zu waschen führen zu gewissen logistischen Engpässen im Bad, die an WG-Zeiten erinnern. Mit ein bisschen Geduld und ein paar netten Worten lässt sich das aber auch bewältigen.

Limpieza excepcional, camas muy cómodas y Mertxe, la anfitriona, encantadora, detallista, nos ayudó en todo momento y estuvo pendiente de cada detalle. Para repetir. El baño compartido es la única pega, aunque no hemos tenido ningún problema porque solo se comparte con otra habitación.

The room is nice and has everything you need, incl. towels, bathrobes, toothpaste, some cool drinks (even wine!) etc... There is also some tea/coffee and breakfast items for free. The beds were not the most comfortable and some noise from outside, but that's because of the good location..

The room was very comfortable with lots of little extras (like a small bottle of cava to welcome you, a fridge with free beverages and water). Bed was very comfortable. The property is 15 minutes walk from the old town and even closer to the main bus and train station. Spotlessly clean! No A/C but a fan in the room meant it was quite comfortable.

• Kamen (10/5): Again "Chez Maria" - It is my second time in this apartment in the beautiful San Sebastian. The flat is located near the Cathedral and propose 2 room with shared bathroom. It is clean, comfortable and charming. Minibar, cafe &tea + small snacks are also available.

The lady that welcomed us showed us around the house, showed us a map with the city and some details, gave us glasses and a small champagne and we had everything in our room that made it a great stay - bathrobes, beach towels, small iron, toiletries, literally everything you’d need to be comfortable. She was such a nice person, she made sure the place is always clean and stocked up with the free things in the hallway. There was no issue with sharing the bathroom with the other room’s guests and you could lock the bathroom while in there so easy peasy, really clean and proper! The place is very central so you could easily access the beach, the old town, the bus station and you could come and leave whenever you want, plus easy check-out, just leave the keys and go. We would 100% reccommended this place for an amazing trip to San Sebastian! -

La circulation et les poubelles ne vous permettent pas de dormir la fenêtre ouverte. Et des travaux sur l’immeuble d’à côté (qui sont commencés depuis plusieurs mois) vous réveillent dès 8h avec le marteau piqueur…

• Kayla (10/5): Lovely rooms! - It was a great location, with a lovely balcony, comfortable beds, and a nice coffee/tea station! The caretaker was so wonderful and kind! She did laundry for us and let us store our bags before we checked in. She is such a lovely person, and we appreciated her kindness.

From communication with Mertxe before arriving (arranging check-in, providing travel routes from airport) to the ease of the check-in process (Mertxe showing us the space and walking us through the amenities and providing some welcome cava) to the actual using of the space (comfortable room, great balcony, perfect breakfast/coffee bar set up in the common space, clean and sizable bathroom) everything contributed to an excellent stay. That is also not mentioning the great location of the apartment!

El tema aparcamiento está fatal. parking privado y carísimo o bien, alejarte del centro (como hice yo recomendado por la propietaria), buscar alguna plaza de NO PAGO, y volver en autobús al alojamiento.

• Kamen B. (9/5): Nice place to stay - There are 2 independent guest rooms in this apartment. The bathroom is shared but this is not a problem - clean and spacious. Minibar with water and soft drinks in the room makes the welcome really warm.

• Kathryn (9/5): - Maria is a wonderful host! After reading all the reviews about her and the accommodation, I knew I needed to book here! She was generous in allowing us to drop our bags early and also store them on the day of departure. She offered us a welcome drink of prosecco and also left us some wine in the bar fridge. The shared bathroom (shared with one other guest whom we never saw) is exceptionally clean at all times! There is plenty of coffee, tea, juice, drinks, snacks on offer all day. I like a very firm mattress and whilst the ones in our room were not, they weren't too soft either and I was able to sleep well! Two single beds in this room. You will definitely need earplugs (which Maria provides) if you want to sleep well at night. The room is a few floors up and looks onto a road where cars and people are often going past at night. No aircon but a small fan so we kept the door to the balcony open at night. Maria gave us lots of suggestions for Pinxchos and we tried a few of her recommended spots and found them to be our favourites! The flat is in an excellent location! Nothing really, apart from the noise at night but this was expected. I would definitely stay there again!
• Mia (9/5): It was fabulous! - Everything was great! Drinks & snacks were provided. The place was very clean! My friend & I were sick & we were given some medication. The lady was very, very helpful. Great place to stay!!! Hoping to go back there one day.
• Marion (10/5): ein sehr schöner und sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt - Wunderbare Gastgeberin, wir wurden mit meiner Verletzung sehr liebevoll umsorgt. Sehr gute Lage, schönes und angenehmes Viertel, schnell am Strand und in der Altstadt, angenehme Wege durch die Fußgängerzone, Nahe am Bahnhof und Busbahnhof. Schöner kleiner Balkon

• Linda (7/5): - Responsive host to our late arrival and helped ship a watch which had been left behind. Host provided snacks and champagne upon arrival. We enjoyed the white fluffy robes and slippers. It was difficult to communicate due to language barrier. Unit had no air conditioning and street noise was loud.
