• Zoila (6/5): - Las fotos no se parece mucho a lo que realmente es , es bastante céntrico pero tampoco servía muy bien el aire y no es baño completo sino que (medio baño) ya que si hay que compartir con los demás, para 1 o 2 noches está bien este lugar sino te incomoda los puntos anteriores

Y no nos hicieron devolución El trato de Santy es muy amable lástima del hostal. La ubicación es muy buena. Antes de reservar chequen su hora de llegada por qué atienden hasta las 12 de la media noche

• ximena (2/5): - Lo que me vendieron en expedia al momento de llegar no fue lo que me entregaron, como fue una fecha bastante solicitada por el concierto de taylor swift, subieron los precios como si fuera de alguna estrella, reserve una habitacion con baño privado, y me dieron una habitacion con regadera y lavabo, sin aire acondicionado, despues me cambiaron a una con ventilador. las cortinas que decia blackout, unas persianas todas rotas, todo se escucha, las paredes son de papel, solo porque no habia otra opcion pero nunca llegaria de nuevo a este lugar. reclame al momento de que mi habitacion no era lo que habia pagado, y se su pretexto fue de que estaba bien la publicidad, lo que es mentira, ya que es engañosa. fatal la experiencia.

• Rosa María (2/5): - La peor experiencia de mi vida. Reservé una habitación doble para dos noches a través de EXPEDIA, que me costó 407€. La habitación no tenía nada que ver con las fotos de la habitación que yo había reservado. De hecho, no cabíamos. El armario estaba desconchado, la pared tenía humedad y también tenía partes desconchadas. En esa porquería de habitación, habían metido dos camas y no había sitio para poder moverse por ella. Ni sitio para que cupiese mi maleta grande. Cuando me quejo a la recepcionista, me dice que no nos pueden realojar porque están completos, teniendo una atención conmigo pésima. ME SIENTO TOTALMENTE ENGAÑADA. Obviamente, no nos quedamos, y me tocó reservar en otro alojamiento, con lo que un fin de semana en Madrid nos ha salido carísimo. Una vergüenza que puedan sacar esa habitación para alquilar. VOY A DENUNCIAR.

• Hafedh (2/5): - In case you would like to ruin your trip and live in a dirty room, choose this hostal. It was our worst experience ever. Very dirty and noisy. We run away to another hotel eventhough the room was not refundable because we could not sleep in such a disgusting place.

Nos cuidaron el equipaje antes del check in y después del check out. Lo único en contra es que no tenía baño privado (sanitario). Pero esto ya lo sabía antes de llegar.

It was hot the first night and I was unable to sleep. 2 nd night I was able to open the window as the temp dropped. Clean. Staff was good. But also note there are 4 Woo-hop’s in Madrid. I also booked different hostal than my family.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Fraude - Ha sido una estancia decepcionante, lo que enfurece más es la publicidad engañosa, ya que las fotografías que nos muestra el anuncio es una vil mentira, no tienen nada que ver con la cruel realidad. En las fotos se ve todo muy pulcro cuando en realidad hay una grave falta de limpieza y mantenimiento. La recepción no tiene nada que ver con la foto. Ducha y lavabo muy pequeños y sucios con el retrete en otra habitación externa a la cama. Mobiliario antíguo y dañado, la regadera inservible. Manchas en los muros de no se sabe qué cosa es y uno que otro bicho rondando por la habitación. Simplemente no lo recomiendo. Por el precio, uno no espera lujos pero tampoco que nos engañen con falsa publicidad. Lo único bueno es la ubicación muy céntrico.

• Alissa (4/5): - Wij hadden een superior kamer, de badkamer was heel erg klein en de deur was een beetje kapot, de vloer was kapot, geen airco, geen privé wc bij superior kamer, hele vakantie een spin in de kamer gehad, het was al met al gewoon niet zo schoon. Verder moesten wij 4 uur s’nachts richting het vliegveld en hadden nog dingen in de koelkast liggen en personeel die daar op die dag was wist dat en toch hebben ze de deur op slot gedaan en hebben we nu €105 aan gekochte dingen “weggegooid”. Dan probeer je ze te bereiken omdat er bij de receptie staat dat personeel 24 uur per dag bereikbaar is wordt er niet opgenomen..

• Renzo (8/5): Ubicación, limpieza y atencion aprobada. - El hotel cumple con todo lo que ofrece, se encuentra ubicado en el centro de la ciudad lo que te da acceso a casi todo, movilidad, lugares para comprar, para comer, etc. La relacion calidad - precio es la apropiada, y la atención que recibí por parte del equipo fue cordial y agradable desde el primer día hasta el ultimo. Salvo el detalle de que los cuartos no usan llave, la habitación que me asignaron estuvo comoda. La limpieza fue apropiada, tanto dentro de mi habitación como en las areas comunes.

Staff was a mixed bunch: the girl was nice, with good customer service, the guy with the ponytail was somewhat unnecessarily rude. The whole place could do with a scrub down and repaint. That said, good value for money and an excellent location.

Can get lots of outdoor noise if the room has a window facing the street but that's expected for lodging right in the middle of the city. Shops, restaurants, grocery, Metro stations nearby. Laundry facilities are a bit of a walk.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Great place - The overall condition of the hostel is great. As I guess, it was renovated recently. The hostel is in a big apartment in an apartment block, living there gave me the feeling I was a local person, and I loved that feeling! There is a kitchen with all you need to cook (if you'd like to). The hostel is located near Callao metro station in the very centre of the city. There are lots of local cafes and restaurants around with absolutely affordable prices, also there are lots of opportunities for shopping. The receptionists and other personnel are nice and co-operative, all of them. I definitely loved that place!
• Verified traveler (4/5): - Didn’t like the fact the building the hostel was in, it was an old apartment block building for me very confusing.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - This is one od the many hybrid youth-hostel.hotel suites properties that seem to be popping up in big European cities. They've taken an old building and renovated several floors, dividing them into hostel rooms with perhaps a dozen bunk beds and privatre rooms/suites with private baths. My wife and I, of course, are not youth so we took a private edouble room. The decor is IKEA--not bad, good sleep quality. Our room had A.C tho' on this September stay we just left the windows open. The staff could not have been nicer nor more helpful, the desk is staffed 24 hours a day and each of them was great. The "breakfrast included" will be your choice of some of the worst coffee I've had on this trip, lots of bread products, and juice--on the weekends they supplement it with the Spanish breakfast options of cold meats and cheeses. I opted to walk three blocks to McDonald's. Finally, the location is incredible--on a little alley less than a block from Gran Via, so you can find a half-dozen cafes and shops within steps of the front door plus all of the high-end shopping and entertainment within walking distance. I'd choose to stay here again if I was in Madrid for a few days.
