Guest Reviews
- Richard (10/5): Great apartment in Port St Mary - Beds, bathroom, views all very nice. Clean and comfortable. The Italian restaurant next door and Kellas across the street both have really good food. Coop store has most groceries. Nick is super kind. No problems
- Loli (10/5): Wonderful Place, Amazing Host & Great Location - Magnificent place! Our room with a sea view was fantastic. The host was very kind and always ready to help with anything we needed. The cleanliness was also excellent.
The location is perfect, with an excellent public transport network: the bus stop is very close, and there are restaurants and a supermarket nearby.
Breakfast was wonderful, Nick makes a fantastic cappuccino, and the homemade pastries are delicious.
I would definitely stay in this lovely place again.
- Jones (10/5): Had a fab weekend, so many kind & helpful people around. - Breakfast was everything we needed and top quality. Nice quiet place to stay, with a few really good restaurants local. Good transport links ...shame there was a bus strike the weekend we were there, but the steam train was amazing. No complaints at all.
- Mariah (10/5): A wonderful stay! - The host was extremely knowledgeable about the location and very happy to answer questions. The room was spacious, clean, and had a very nice bathroom. An excellent stay, I would recommend to others!
- Rebecca (10/5): -
- June (10/5): Just loved Carrick rooms made our short break enjoyable - One of the nicest places I we have ever stayed in, so welcoming host Nick was so helpful, rooms spotless, decor absolutely stunning would highly recommend it to anyone Nothing but would love that there would be more restaurants or cafes in that area
- Emma (10/5): We gad a fabulous stay and can’t wait to return. - Beautiful room, with comfy beds, a wonderful sea view and all super clean. Breakfast was delicious and we felt very welcomed by Nick and family. Nothing!
- Edra (10/5): -
- TREVOR (10/5): Welcoming, helpful and comfortable B&B to be recommended - Comfortable spacious room. Owners are very welcoming and super helpful regarding places to visit. They make an excellent cup of coffee Tap water is very chlorinated. Availability of bottled water would be a bonus
- Alison (9/5): - Large room and lounge with high end furnishings and a huge comfy bed. Good shower too. Friendly owner who meets you to let you in. Breakfast is help yourself down in the breakfast room. In handy location right next to beach.
- Laura (10/5): Excellent stay, gorgeous rooms! - The host was really lovely and welcoming! The rooms have been beautifully decorated and the bed was huge and comfortable. The location was perfect for what we needed and there was a bus stop 2 minutes down the road which went to the airport.
We had a great time 😀 Absolutely no complaints! Everything was great.
- Harrison (10/5): -
- JEFFREY HAMBLETON (10/5): THE CARRICK WAS LOVELY. - THE CARRICK ROOMS WAS EXCELLENT THE ROOM WAS LOVELY, LOVELY BIG BED. BUT I WAS DISAPPOINTED WITH PORT ST MARY NOT MUCH THERE, PORT ST MARY WAS A VERY NICE PLACE YEARS AGO, BUT THE CARRICK 5 STAR. THANK YOU THE CARRICK. PORT ST MARY A LOT OF PLACES HAVE CLOSED.
- John (10/5): Lovely place to stay, will go back. - Lovely property, close to the sea. Great base to explore the south of the island. Nick who is the owner is fantastic - very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Personal touch made the stay.
- paul leslie (10/5): - breakfast was a continentel syle made a real change from a cooked one that had a lot of variety
loved it all ok
- Elaine (9/5): Very enjoyable and comfortable with excellent hosts. - Great location (buses drop off /pick up very close to accommodation . About 20 mins to airport). Very warm welcome and very helpful/friendly: keen to ensure everything was right. Lovely breakfast. TV reception not great but not a major issue - out most of the time.
- Georgina (10/5): -
- Maguire (9/5): Perfect weekend stay - Perfect location in Port St Mary Nothing
- Catherine (10/5): What a warm and friendly, stylish and extremely comfortable place to stay. - As soon as you walk through the front door the standard, quality and style of the Carrick rooms are apparent. Our room the ‘drinking dragon’ was spacious, very light and airy and beautifully decorated. The whole accommodation was divided into a split level sleeping and living area with en-suite shower room. We had a very large and extremely comfortable bed with everything you would need for a comfortable and relaxing stay.
A continental breakfast was included in the price. There was plenty on offer from a whole range from cereals, fresh fruit salad, continental meats and freshly baked croissants, pastries and bread.
Nick was a superb host and very friendly. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends. There wasn’t really anything we didn’t like but if I had to say something, it would be the the long life milk pods. I would suggest that a small carton of fresh milk in the fridge would be the icing on the cake.
- Jon (10/5): - Lovely room, very comfortable with quality fittings. Great value.
- Simon (9/5): A refreshing change compared to a boring old premier inn! - Hosts were very personable and wanted to make sure everything was ok. Beautifully decorated and spacious room. Free parking in Port St Mary just 50 metres away. -
- Gayle (10/5): Warm welcome, spacious rooms, and great breakfasts - Our stay at this B&B in the heart of St. Mary was impeccable, with wonderful hosts. They’re a warm, attentive family who went above and beyond- even locating an open pub in the morning showing the rugby (pubs on the island don't tend to be open at the time of day it went ahead but an exception was made!)
The accommodation was impressive: the room was spotless, bright, and exceptionally spacious, with high ceilings taller guests will apriciate. The central location makes it easy to explore on foot, with family run shops in the town and stunning costal walks. We were even lucky enough to locate a bay (which the hosts suggested) with over 20 seals bathing in the sunshine, no boat needed! Another recommendation from our host was to visit another local bay within walking distance or a short drive that has saunas and a hot tub on the beach- a fantastic and unique must do experiance.
Breakfasts were excellent each day, with fresh pastries, a range of juices, good coffee and tea, muesli, high-quality cured meats and friendly conversations with the hosts.
If you’re looking for a B&B that combines comfort, authenticity, location and thoughtful hospitality, this is a wonderful choice on the Isle of Man. That we had to go home!
- Stephanie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wayne (10/5): Great - Nick was the perfect host. The room, breakfast and location were great. I would not hesitate to book this again I can't think of anything
- Beth (10/5): A beautiful and peaceful getaway - The most beautiful room & incredibly welcoming and attentive hosts. The room has the most comfortable bed along with a small kitchenette/fridge that I wasn’t expecting! Amazing shower, wonderful sea views, and close to the bus stop, train station and local shop. All looked newly and thoughtfully decorated. Can’t thank Nick enough for being such a friendly and thoughtful host! Nothing!
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional - Nice room and an excellent host. There was a noisy but excellent Italian restaurant two doors down. Nothing.
- Graham (9/5): Great stay in Port St Mary - Attractive, spacious room with seating area. Room wasn't serviced during our stay
- Diane (9/5): A lovely place to stay - Great location in Port St Mary close to the available restaurants, shops and public transport. The room was very comfortable with modern decorations and everything we needed and more. Nick was a great host and provided helpful local advice on things to do and see. We had a very pleasant stay Nothing
- Henry (9/5): An excellent choice for our short TT visit - We were there for the TT. Don't let the outside fool you. This place is immaculate inside. Really nicely decorated and furnished. Situated in the high street and we found it easily. The owner Nick couldn't have been more helpful. A really nice guy who took the time to chat to us and give useful tips for our short visit. There is a supermarket and a chip shop nearby, and the harbour is only a short walk away. We were able to park our motorcycle right next to the entrance. Next time we visit the TT, this little gem of a place will be top of our list. The continental style breakfast was fine for us, but others might expect more variety and perhaps some cooked food options as well.
- Caroline (10/5): Perfect - Excellent room, location. Couldn’t want for better! Nothing
- Sid (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ruth (10/5): Superb accommodation, fantastic location and a pleasure to meet Nick and his father too on a gem of an island. - Beautiful Georgian house, large room recently decorated with a contemporary nautical theme, very comfortable bed and fantastic shower room, kitchenette with fridge.
- Gerallt (9/5): Overall, very good. - Overall, very good and I would stay again. I think the only thing this property is missing is a full breakfast in addition to the continental provided.
- Darren (10/5): Great place - How clean a new it was and the hospitality was great Nothing
- Sandra (8/5): Very good -
- Kerry (10/5): Beautiful spacious suite in Port St Mary - Fabulous suite with all mod cons and lots of space/storage. Very large and comfortable bed with extra blankets included. Good, strong shower with fluffy towels provided. Also heated towel rail and toiletries included. Continental breakfast included with lots of choice. Parking permit provided but also free parking across the road by the town hall. Port St Mary was beautiful and only a short drive to Douglas, stunning coastal drive. Had a lovely stay and thank you to Nick for his local recommendations!
- Booth (10/5): Lovely Stay - Ian and Nick were fantastic hosts, very helpful and great to chat to. Their communication was excellent. Breakfast was lovely and the room spacious.
- Liz (9/5): A great place to stay. I think being early season things were just getting sorted. - The hosts were really helpful and welcoming.
Breakfast was great and varied.
Our requests were met with friendly help. It could have been a bit warmer and we couldn't get the tv to work but we were helped on both counts by the hosts.
A hairdryer would have been useful.
- Annabel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (10/5): Outstanding weekend stay at Carrick Rooms, can't wait to return! - My husband was working in IOM, I flew over for a long weekend and we booked Carrick Rooms our stay. It was perfect....
Nick and his family have done a superb job of renovating Carrick Rooms. From our room we had a view of the sea, the room itself was large with a seating area in the bay window, we had a little kitchen area with tea/coffee making facilities, a fridge and crockery/glass-wear was provided, the bed was big and so comfy, everything was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was delicious and provided in the little coffee shop below.
The location was perfect, it was within easy walking distance of the beach/harbour and there are several gorgeous restaurants very nearby. We ate at Kellars which is across the road from Carrick Rooms and The Boathouse and used the lovely pub in the village too.. all we'd highly recommend, there is a Fish & Chip shop, Chinese Take away an Italian restaurant very close by and a COOP store also.
There is a steam train 5-10 min walk away that we caught one evening too which took us to Douglas.
Nick and his family are excellent hosts and very welcoming, we look forward to another visit to Carrick Rooms in the future. Nothing!
- Matthew (10/5): Hosts were friendly and accommodating. Room was modern, comfortable, and clean. Very happy to recommend. -
- Lucinda (10/5): Absolutely brilliant!! - Our room at The Carrick was beautifully clean and the perfect size. A large bathroom with a double shower and brilliant water pressure. Nick was an absolute gentleman, we can’t recommend this place enough!! N/A
- Linda (10/5): A warm welcome and a very comfortable stay. - Beautifully decorated, lots of thoughtful touches, comfortable bed, great shower, friendly host. Nothing!! It was great.
- Saskia (10/5): The property its self was stunning! Nick the host was great, has really gone above and beyond to make sure our stay was - The property its self was stunning! Nick the host was great, has really gone above and beyond to make sure our stay was amazing, couldn’t recommend the carrick rooms enough, we will definitely be staying again!
Thank you for our stay! Nothing everything was great. I would recommend hiring/ bringing a car as taxis are fairly difficult to book on the Isle of Man
- Adrian (9/5): Friendly and welcoming stay - The room was very bright, well maintained and very clean. The host was very friendly and helpful. The venue is well located; just a shame a few buildings are in the way of a full panoramic sea view.
- Ruth (9/5): Wonderful - Carrick Rooms is a brilliant B&B location on Bayview Road, and on the bus route from the local airport. Beautiful and well presented rooms. Hot showers. Amazing beds and pillows. Proper coffee at breakfast. Nick is a wonderful and friendly owner and host. Highly recommend this superb place to stay in Port St Mary.
- Stuart (8/5): Very good -
- Allan (10/5): Exceptional - Nick was very welcoming and helpful.
Well appointed and comfortable room. Very close to the promenade.
Generous selection of food for continental breakfast.
- Sharon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Martyn (10/5): Very comfortable accommodation in Port St Mary - Very comfortable, spotlessly clean accommodation. Nick, the owner was extremely helpful.
Thanks for everything.
- Daniela (10/5): Really enjoyed it - The room was really big and comfy. The location was perfect. Nick gave us good recommendations for food and sites to visit. Nothing
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Nick the host was very accomodating, and hospitality was above and beyond
- Jennifer (10/5): Short break on the Island, great place to stay, would definitely recommend. - Lovely, comfortable room. Great breakfast. Nick was great. We loved our stay. Nothing to dislike
- Keith (10/5): Should we return to the island we will book the Carrick Rooms. - Friendly, helpful and excellent communication. Very good location.
- Paul (10/5): in short loved the place wished i could live there - breakfast was continental but good variaty very tasty i loved the room we had very roomy clean tidy massive bed patio doors even two sky lights i didnt like cheaking out i wonted to stay
- Stephen (10/5): Enjoyed this stay so much we will book the same place again. - Located in a quiet part of the island with some very nice scenery when walking around the area. Breakfast in the attached cafe is very nice and the host was very informative and entertaining.
Free parking a very short walk away (parking on the street outside is time-limited through the day). Our room overlooked the window of an office alongside, so during office hours we preferred to keep the curtains closed. Generally not an issue, as we were out through the day.
- Susan (10/5): Exceedingly good Carrick Rooms. Superb accommodation. Can totally recommend. Would stay again. - Our accomodation was spotlessly clean and comfortable, modern and stylish with ample space in a great location, with delicious eateries within walking distance. I recommend the Bel Cibo dish at Andrea's (I had this 3 times). Fresh, Fried & Crispy served superb fish and chips in local Bushy's ale batter with a selection of homemade mayonnaises, curry sauce and mushy peas
Our host at Carrick Rooms, Nick, could not have been more accommodating, catering for the 4 of us with our bicycles. It's a good location with some great and challenging rides to be had. Nicks father suggested some super cycle routes to try too. Carrick Rooms is a stones throw from the port, where we saw a seal. I really enjoyed our breakfasts sampling the breads and cheeses (and meats for those that do). Nicks cinnamon bakes and Bakewell tart were to die for. There was nothing to dislike.
- Suzanne (10/5): Very happy with the room and host. Nick was very warm and friendly and you could tell he enjoyed the job. - The convenience of the property to the beach. That it was a small and was beautifully appointed. Handy for the amenities. Nothing at all.
- Hemsley (9/5): Great southern position - Comfortable, Friendly, great for visiting the southern attractions Stairs, good breakfast but maybe a little more variety?
- Ceren (10/5): an ocean-viewing experience on a lovely island. - It was my first time on the Isle of Man and I was very lucky to stay at this hotel. The service and quality was beyond my expectations. The room was very clean and waking up every morning with a great view of the ocean was a truly unique experience. Nick and his father were the most helpful and friendly owners I have ever met. When it got a little cold they immediately brought a thick quilt, when I needed a taxi they found me one, they took me to the airport in their own car. I can count many more things they did for their guests. Unlike big hotels, this hotel was a very friendly place where I felt at home. I would like to thank Nick and his father from the bottom of my heart for hosting me so wonderfully. If I come to the island again one day, I will definitely stay here. I recommend it to everyone! I thought everything was great, only the island was a bit quiet:)
- Romey (9/5): Can't wait to go back! - Nick and his family have done a wonderful job of making Carrick Rooms look really attractive. and welcoming. My room on the first floor had a large separate sitting room and an equally large and airy bedroom, it had a real 'wow' factor. The whole property is modern and comfortable with a lovely colour scheme and is really clean and good quality. Nick and his dad were wonderful hosts, very friendly and helpful at all times and full of excellent recommendations and advice; they could not have been more welcoming. I would return without hesitation. There was an excellent selection of guide books and brochures too. It didn't bother me at all as I loved having the space in my room, but if you would like a sea view, I would book one of the smaller, upper rooms.
- Hayley (10/5): Perfect stay would highly recommend - Nick was a wonderful host who was extremely friendly and helpful before our arrival and whilst we were staying. The room we stayed in was pristine with a lovely sea view and was very comfortable. The accommodation is within the centre of Port St Mary and local amenities were easily accessible - We would certainly stay in The Carrick Rooms again! Nothing - just a shame we didn’t stay for longer!
- Robert (10/5): We will be back. - Lovely location, very well presented, great style and taste. Quiet. Near to restaurant, fish and chips on the beach, short walk to a great pub. Nick the host is a lovely guy, so helpful and accommodating. Great coffee and continental breakfast. Nothing not to like.
- Roy (10/5): Fabulous little gem of a property - The Carrick Rooms is a small family run bed and breakfast. There were 3 of us, all over for the TT races. Upon arrival we were met by the host Nick, who from start to finish was smiling, cheerful and pleasant. He directed us to our rooms and explained the facilities available, which included free wi-fi, and continental style breakfast. He answered any questions we had throughout the stay. The room I was allocated was spacious, had en suite toilet/shower and it was pristine clean. There were tea/coffee making facilities, and we were free to come and go as necessary due to security lock on front entrance for which we were supplied with the code. We had an excellent stay and I cannot thank Nick enough for everything he done for us whilst there. I have no hesitation in recommending this to property to anyone. Nick is a great ambassador for the hotel and I look forward to staying there again in the near future. Thank you Nick :)
- Reece (10/5): Amazing hotel and we will definitely be back soon - Clean and modern and in the most beautiful setting Nothing
- Rebecca (10/5): The PERFECT stay! - The Carrick Rooms are a real gem, and we will most definitely be retuning soon.
This place is the most airy, spacious, immaculately clean and modern accommodation that we have ever stayed at on the island.
The hosts could not be more accommodating, nothing is too much trouble, and they really do go above and beyond to ensure that your stay is perfect in every way.
A delicious continental breakfast is served in Roots cafe below each morning. The breads, pastries and cheeses are all local produce and the coffee is fantastic too,
Thank you for making our stay the BEST that we have ever had on the island, you guys are simply fantastic!
Thank you.
Rebecca and James There is absolutely nothing that we did not like about this property, it was superb!
- Joy (10/5): Lovely little B&B with a great host. - The room was clean, comfortable and the beds were fabulous. Nick was a great host and even taught me how to make a traditional Manx fruit bread. In fact we liked this place so much that we have already booked another break there.
- Fon (10/5): Fab place - Beautiful room, great decor and Nick was very friendly and helpful It was all good!!
- Dr (10/5): Delightful place to stay in the nicest village on the Isle of Man. Nick is a superb host - The great attention to detail and the beautiful restoration of the property It’s just all fine.
- Julian (8/5): Great accommodation & the host is very amenable - Continental breakfast came with yoghurt, muesli and some cold cuts / cheeses.
Nick and Ian were gracious hosts and nothing was too much trouble.
Fantastic shower - I didn’t want to come out! The WiFi was a bit flaky on the first night. Also the only design flaw about the room is that there is nowhere to put your bag / suitcase. Hosts often forget about this when they think about interior design. Otherwise all perfect ☺️
- Tonyynwa (10/5): fantastic. -
- Robert (10/5): A great location with a friendly, helpful team and clean, fresh & newly appointed rooms - Great location to explore the south of the Island
Clean, fresh and newly appointed rooms
Excellent continental breakfast - cereal, cold meat/cheese, fruit/yogurt, etc. including catering for GF Nothing
- Laura (10/5): Would return in a heartbeat - Sea view was amazing, we slept with curtains open just in case we saw the aurora. Plenty of choice at breakfast, nothing was too much trouble. Hot croissants were a treat!
Nick has lots of local knowledge of where to go and what to see. Also helped with logistics to and from airport with luggage. Rooms are immaculate and would definitely stay again. Going home
- Jill (8/5): Friendly and comfortable - Breakfast fine but not quite as good as on our previous visit
- Pauline (10/5): Would highly recommend and hopefully we can spend longer there next time?? - What a beautiful, homely snd convenient spot. Such a friendly and hospitable host too!
- Jodie (10/5): Lovely rooms and staff - We came over to see Family who live in the area. Carrick Rooms were amazing and the bed was super comfortable.
Nick was very friendly and could do more for us.
Would definitely stay again
- Ruth (10/5): A wonderful stay! - A wonderful stay! Beautiful, spacious room, with very comfy bed, and all spotlessly clean! Delicious generous breakfast, and a fantastic host who was so friendly and generous with his time and recommendations on places to go/things to do. A brilliant location for walks, public transport, eating out etc. All round a perfect spot! 10/10! Nothing could have been better - all brilliant.
- A. (10/5): Exceptional - Good location,the room was great!Everything brand new!Well done!
- Susan (10/5): Owner was very helpful really recommend this bed & breakfast. - Lovely place clean and decorated really nice. There was nothing not to like .
- Eileen (9/5): Superb -
- Jill (9/5): Superb - Spacious and comfortable. Good breakfast. Friendly owner.
- Jacqui (10/5): And extremely memorable stay, and we hope to return one day. - Our accommodation was of an extremely high standard and absolutely immaculately clean. It was also very easy to get to from the airport. What made our stay extra memorable was the owner Nick, who literally nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend staying here. There was nothing we didn’t like about the property
- S (10/5): Splendid place, very considerate owner - Good simple breakfast and coffee, splendid room and communication with the owner, we had a fabulous time in the area Frankly the meal in the Italian bar nearby was poor, the chef was having staff problems I think, the only blot on our stay really
- Ken (10/5): Great place to stay in a lovely location. - Friendly and informative host.
Lovely large clean room.
Very comfortable bed.
Nice tasty breakfast.
Great location. Nothing to dislike.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional - We received a very warm welcome from Nick as soon as we arrived Our room was fabulous , beautiful decor & very spacious.
There was great choice every morning for a continental breakfast .
Just across the road is a very good fish & chip shop /restaurant , four doors away a lovely Italian restaurant & then one to two miles away "The Shore " pub where the food was so good we ate there three times.
Also having a Co-op store a short walk away was great.
We would highly recommend the Carrick Rooms .
- Eleanor (9/5): A lovely family run hotel by the beach - Breakfast was delicious, Nick was so friendly and the place generally had a very nice feel to it, close to the beach and amenities like shop and bus.
- Jeremiah (10/5): Wonderful place to stay as we adventured around the Isle. - A great location in Port St Mary. Easy walk to a number convinces. The room was very nice and spotless clean and everything worked great. Nick was a good host and we appreciated the morning chats and good communication before arriving. Thank you very much!
- David (10/5): I want to go again. - The continental breakfast provided by Nick was superb... as good as it gets! He was also a great host, for us and the other guests. Our rooms were beautifully decorated, and comfortable. Everything was fresh and clean. Gay has visited before, and has family connections, but it was my first visit to Port St Mary. I love the shape and feel of the place. It is an exceptionally quiet village, which suited us very well.
- Nicola (9/5): A beautiful room and location from which to explore this beautiful island. - Beautifully furnished room, soft bed and pillows, view of the sea and the sunrise. Easy walk to the bay and free parking and the steam train and bus stops, and footpaths. A fridge and utensils, and a shop very close by, made it easy to make up packed lunches (or dinners in our case as it was easier to eat out at lunchtime). Nick was a congenial host at breakfast, and with only the three rooms at the property it was lovely chatting with the other enthusiastic guests. The room did get quite dusty by the end of the week, and the bathroom floor bitty, so perhaps a dustpan and brush and dusting cloths could be available under the sink for guest use? With sea mists and Sahara sand the windows became dirty quickly, but I cannot see that can be helped unless a window cleaner can be employed twice weekly during such times.
- Nora (10/5): First visit to the IOM, at the end of the TT races.being south west could enjoy the fabulous scenery - Delicious continental fresh fruit salad and yogurts as well as muesli etc To stay longer
- Belinda (10/5): Nothing was too much trouble. The apartment was fabulous. Breakfast was delicious. I will be back! - A hidden gem! Decor and furnishings are tastefully done to a high standard with thoughtful detail that made the difference to our stay. Seriously struggling to find a negative.
- James (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cheryl (10/5): Exceptional - Large comfy bed, wonderfully decorated and kitted out to a very high standard. Nick was a great host and was available with local knowledge for places to visit and eat.
Would definitely go again.
- Murat (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adi (10/5): Exceptional - Had a fantastic stay. The room was beautiful and spacious, lovely breakfast, Nick and his family were so welcoming and had great suggestions for us for places to see and visit. Great location. Highly recommend! Nothing
- Daniel (10/5): Carrick Rooms / Isle of Man exceeded our expectations. Accessible to and from many European cities making it an exce - The property was welcoming, extremely clean, and conveniently located at walking distance to several restaurants and pubs as well as to local free parking. Nick and his family made us feel at home. He suggested so many interesting places to explore over our 3 night visit. We will definitely recommend Carrick Rooms and the Isle of Man to our friends looking for an adventurous destination! No complaints here! Even with rainy weather we still enjoyed our time exploring the Isle of Man.
- Caley (9/5): Absolutely delightful. - Perfect location in Port St Mary. Drinking Dragon is a fabulous room! Staff is so lovely and super responsive. Try the bagel BLT at the coffee shop! Breakfast ended quite early (by 9.30am) - that’s the only area of improvement we can think of!
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Spot on very good service
- Michael (8/5): Very enjoyable. - Fine....I've already commented on the location.
Everything was fine. Nick was extremely helpful and informative about local attractions on the island, and other things we needed to know. Room was spacious, beds comfortable, good shower, and everything was clean. Just one thing perhaps, on arriving first of all it was very difficult to find the property, there was no-one around to ask in the village, the bus driver hadn't heard of the road, never mind the property, and even Google Earth failed. I think it would help if the name of the property could be displayed more noticeably.
- Helen (8/5): Very good - Nick was full of suggestions for places to go/what to do when the weather was bad.
Lovely breakfast with good coffee. It's a petty issue, but there was no full length mirror in the room.
