I'll be back again next year for sure. - Spacious, clean, and great location since there's plenty of options for food right nearby The bathroom door is in each bedroom did not lock. Don't have anyone to the front. They said that they removed them years a while back from all the property. If you were getting stuck inside that seems like a very weird thing to do.

brettg958 (10/5): Great host - I am here for a 4 week business trip. I went into Philadelphia on a weekend to sightsee and walked around 15 miles. Came back to my room with extremely sore legs, asked Colton at reception if they sold coconut water to help with the cramping. He told me they didn’t have any, but he went in the back and looked for a banana for me. He also gave me great tips on local hiking trails and sightseeing. He made me feel very welcome and is a genuinely nice host. Will recommend this hotel to all my coworkers, friends and family.

Patti (5/5): We probably will find another hotel where more care is taken with the room. - Great location Our room furniture was worn, the pillows on the bed were just tossed on without care, and not ironed. The water in the bathroom was white, even after letting it run. Needless to say, we never tasted it. (I didn’t think to take a picture, but I did report it.).The kitchenette water was perfectly clear, but the cloudy water was disturbing. The dishwasher was stuffed like a washing machine, and bowls were upright, full of water. I was surprised it had not been emptied upon arrival. The room just did not measure up to Hilton standards. I am not one who usually writes bad reviews, and this is not for publication. I would like it to just be for internal use, for improvement with this particular hotel.
JennK_12 (10/5): Quick Family Stay - We had just one night stay for a soccer tournament nearby. The app check in was easy. The one bedroom suit had plenty of room for our family of four. It was very clean, beds were warm and comfortable. Breakfast had a variety of options of cold and hot items and didn't seem to be too crowded. The hotel does have a gym and pool though we did not have time to use on this trip. Location was not to far off a main highway and there were plenty of shops and restaurants right in the vicinity - could walk to if you wanted. Perfect for what we needed, and would stay here again.

The breakfast area was way too crowded. There was on gentleman getting plate after plate of food, loading each plate up with everything that was out for all the guests so he could take them up to his kids in their room.

pedrosJ9981KS (10/5): Spooky nook stay - We arrive on Saturday evening after a long day drive (3hrs) and my sons basketball games (2hrs+) . We booked a double queen bed room unfortunately upon entering our room had a weird smell, and determined that it was coming from the pull out couch. I came to the front and spoke to Rae who was working that night and she immediately try to offer a solution we didn’t think that it would help. She immediately contacted her manager and they got to figuring something out. They were out of similar rooms but Jennifer (the manager) was gracious enough to give us 2 options. I can’t tell you how wonderfully courteous they were and how their hospitality truly helped as we were traveling with our autistic daughter, which was never brought up in our conversation. This truly showed that they were willing to help no matter what.

It worked enough to keep us pretty comfortable but the thermostat was set at 60 and it was blowing air that was just kinda cool. I like a cool room to sleep and it was ok, but certainly not 60 degrees. We couldn’t adjust it otherwise.

874justynac (2/5): Highly disappointed - Our team stayed here for a tournament, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The front desk staff, Tania and Kevin, were not helpful and came across as rude and impolite when we asked for assistance. They refused to allow a late checkout for the team, which is a common courtesy during tournaments and every hotel we stayed so far never gave us any problems. On top of that, we were charged triple for the stay and had to request a refund, which was a huge inconvenience. The staff seemed uninformed and unprofessional throughout. One of our parents even arrived to a dirty room with used sheets and towels still there — completely unacceptable. This hotel showed a complete lack of organization, professionalism, and basic hospitality. Definitely not recommended, especially for teams or groups.

Also, there were people being very loud drinking and screaming outside in the hotel sitting area well past midnight. The quality may have been fine at a $100 motel, but not a room approaching $400. The front desk asked how everything was, and when I told them about our experience I was told “Yeah the stains don’t come out”

rachelhD6202XN (2/5): Racist Employees - I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. During check-in, the front desk staff member, Cassie, made a racist microaggression by trying to guess my last name based on my race. She could have simply asked me for my name. When I brought my concern to the hotel, they didn’t even care. This kind of behavior is completely inappropriate and unprofessional. I hope management will eventually address this racism so future guests don’t experience the same treatment.

Denise (4/5): - This is the dirtiest hotel I ever stayed at. The room was clean but the hallway was never vacuumed and the carpet was filthy. And the elevators and tiled halls were never swept or mopped. It's a pet friendly hotel and both elevators smelled terrible. They are either understaffed, or management just doesn't care about the cleanliness of common areas. Pet friendliness does not mean the hotel has to be dirty. The room was spacious and well-appointed, but I could never recommend this hotel to anyone. They need to hire an overnight janitorial service.

Pet friendly, we had a room on the first floor which made things easy for us, and there was lots of grassy areas for the dogs to use. Very quiet, clean, good sleep quality. Staff was friendly. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when in the area.

Chris (4/5): - Love Hilton hotels, but hate their Home2 brand. Stayed at them several times and have not had one good experience. One of the girls at the counter was very rude when I asked for anything. Like it was going too far out of her way to assist you. Rooms were fake cleaned. Just look at the light bulbs in the lamps (half inch of dust). No one pays attention to details anymore. Mediocrity rules the world now and less than the best is perfectly acceptable.

Carolyn (8/5): - Having stayed the week prior at the Home2 Suites in Ephrata, I was expecting an exceptional experience as I had there. Not the case at the Lancaster location. At check in the incompetent unfriendly staff member gave me someone else room despite having handed her my ID with my name clearly on it! Then told me I needed to put $175 on my credit card for incidentals for a 2 night stay. I went up to the room and it was not what I booked, came back down and THEN, she told me I made 2 reservations and I need to pay for both (that was what the $175 was for- I was paying for someone else room). She finally realized she gave me someone else room and told me I'd have to call Hilton and Orbitz (I booked and prepaid for the room) and straighten it all out with them. Luckily the manager walked into the hotel at the time and figured out what happened. He assured me he'd make sure the charge for the other room was removed and follow up with me. He never did follow up. The room I was put in was right across from the elevator and had the door sweep removed so there was a large gap between the bottom of the door and the floor allowing noise every time someone was chatting at the elevator. Did they offer any kind of compensation for all this? No. I won't be coming back. If you want to stay at a Home2Suites in the area go to the location in Ephrata. I had a wonderful stay there.

madfett (8/5): Clean, comfortable, and close to amenities - I stayed at the Home2 Suites for several nights with family, and overall, it was a great experience. The hotel is newer, so everything feels fresh, clean, and well-maintained. Visually, the property looks great, and its location is convenient—situated just across the street from a large shopping area with plenty of restaurant options, a Target, and a grocery store. While the hotel isn't particularly close to downtown Lancaster and isn't walkable, it’s just a short and easy drive. Check-in was friendly and efficient, and our room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The addition of a refrigerator and kitchen setup was a nice touch, though guests should be aware that the suites do not come with stoves or cookware. However, it seems you can request a cooktop from the front desk if needed. Breakfast was well-stocked with all the standard offerings, but the seating area was extremely small and essentially part of the lobby, which made it feel a bit cramped. Overall, I’d definitely stay here again if the price was right—it’s a solid option with plenty of conveniences nearby.

U1826GUalisonh (10/5): Pleasant Place to Stay - Stayed here for the weekend. An extremely convenient location, excellent shopping center located across the street. All the staff was friendly and constantly cleaning or performing maintenance. The pool area was well stocked with towels and clean. Breakfast was very good with a decent amount of choices. Rooms are spacious, clean and the bed was comfortable.
