Balkongen var lite innbydende da den vendte ut mot vegen med mye støy. Røykende bussjåfør/ bussturister rett nedenfor gjorde at vi måtte ha balkongdøra igjen også. Sokkene så ut som vi hadde gått ute med dem. Ikke hva vi forventet ut fra pris.
• Ingebjørg (10/5): - Utrolig vakker plassering, ypperlig med lekeland og svømmebasseng. Perfekt for barnefamilier.
• Richard (6/5): - The cabin was comfortable and warm although dated (particularly the shower, which was falling apart). But keep in mind you need to make the beds yourself and clean the cabin afterwards or you face a 600NOK fee. The breakfast was mediocre.
• Steve (8/5): - Overall very good, but we really wanted to use the indoor playground and couldn’t - the first day there was an event and the playground wasn’t open. When I asked when we could use it, we were told that they could just switch the lights on. So I said that we would come the next morning. Then there was a different person in the reception and we were not let in. We then got into the pool as an alternative at 10:45, but at 11:00 we were asked to leave as the reception was closing. Quite frustrating not being able to use the advertised facilities!

• Mark (10/5): - The pool and indoor play area were large and clean. The rooms were large and spacious. It was a stop over for us but wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the area! There is plenty to do here.
• Jørgen (6/5): Greit med en natt. - Fin resepsjon, flott lekeområde. Stort basseng, men skittent. Godt brukte hytter med mye knirk og utdatert interiør. Restauranten hadde kjedelige retter.
• Niklas (10/5): - Våra barn älskade stället. 4,7,9 år gamla. Poolen var rejält varm och gott om flythjälpmedel till barn som vill lära sig simma. Fräscha omklädningsrum och är nog nyligen renoverade. Lekrummet var en gammal stor gymnastiksal med mjukt golv som var omgjord till lekrum där de kunde springa av sig ordentligt. Entré till dessa ingick i stugpriset. Minus var att dammsugaren som fanns i stugan var helt kass. Tyvärr ingen mikrovågsugn eller frysfack. Toalett och dusch nyrenoverat i stugan. Bekväm stor soffa, tv och alla köksredskap man normalt behöver finns.

• Susan (10/5): Good. Would stay again. - We had a great time staying here. It was a great location to be able to visit the Sognefjord sites without being right in Flåm or one of the other touristy sites. You would need a car, however. Breakfast was so-so, but we ate dinner in their restaurant one night and it was quite good, although expensive. The room we stayed in was quite warm and there was no way to adjust the thermostat, but we opened the door to the balcony and cooled it off.

• Kai Kei, (8/5): - The property is easily accesible, where the main building is just on the side of the main road. The staff at the front desk is very friendly and helpful, everything was explained to us clearly. The kitchen and bathroom were well maintained, the only downside was that the cabin is not newly decorated and has shown its age at some places. Otherwise, this is highly recommended for family and friends to stay close to the nature of Norway in an enjoyable way.

• Lida (8/5): - Het huisje was prima, alles aanwezig. De bedden waren wel heel hard. Het systeem in het restaurant werkt niet. Duurt allemaal heel lang...je betaald voor de voorzieningen van het hotel,waar je geen gebruik van maakt.
• Patricia (10/5): Lovely stay in Olden - Such a cute place in a great location. We rented one of the rooms with a private bathroom. Very nice updated unit. Not very large but fit our family of 3 just fine. Outside deck with beautiful views. The staff was very friendly. I highly recommend if you are partaking in any of the activities Loen has to offer. Very close, convenient , and well maintained.

Arrivés à 20h30 par le ferry de Gudvangen à Kaupauger, nous n'avons pas eu le temps de tester la piscine. Mais le lieu était vraiment agréable et nous serions bien restés une nuit de plus ! Nous avons apprécié de pouvoir utiliser la laverie.

Dette kom ikkje fram verken ved bestilling eller i tilsendt bekreftelse. Dette ligg heller ikkje framme på Vesterlands eiga nettside, kun dersom ein søkjer ekstra informasjon om rom/hytte, men ikkje om ein går direkte til bestilling. Det er uansett ikkje opplyst om storleiken på tillegsgebyra. Dette gir eit misvisande inntrykk av prisnivået for den som samanliknar aktuelle alternativ for overnatting, t.d. standard hotellrom med frokost. Hytta var velutstyrt og virka rein, men vatnet frå golvvasken vart ganske skittent.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Akkurat det vi trengte - Familie på 4 som hadde en natts overnatting på hytte med 2 soverom og bad. Ikke høystandard, men akkurat det vi forventet og trengte. Ålreite senger og veldig hyggelig og behjelpelig resepsjonist. Vi brukte ingen av fasilitetene utover hytta, og brukte hytta kun til overnatting. Hytta hadde gode nok kjøkkenfasiliteter, spisebord og sofagruppe.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - Room was fine. But we ordered nonsmoking room because my husband has asthma and I have several allergies. On both sides of us, people sat on the outside balcony and smoked. The balcony door is the only way to get fresh air, no air conditioning and no fan in room. So we had to keep our door shut and sweat. Nonsmoking rooms should be set far away from rooms that allow smoking OR smokers should be required to leave the building and walk a reasonable distance away so they do not pollute the air for everyone else. If they do not change their smoking policy, then they should provide fans or air conditioning for those who cannot stand to leave their balcony doors open due to the smoke. This situation rather ruined an otherwise good experience.
• siobhan (10/5): Norwegian cabin - The cabin was set in the middle of trees which was wonderful. Small kitchen area that had everything we needed to cook for ourselves after a long day out and about. Communal bbq area also available to guests. Beds comfortable as was dining/lounge area. Shower was great. Would highly recommend.

• Ayal (8/5): Nice stay at Vesterland - We booked Vesterland for a one-night stay during our Norwegian trip. We arrived quite late. The check-in was quick and we could even enjoy the pool that was open until late. The cabin was okay for 6 persons, and there's a supermarket three-minute drive. All in all a good impression.
• Neil (8/5): - The check-in people were especially helpful and friendly. The room was large and had a refrigerator which is a necessity for us when we travel. Breakfast was excellent. The only downside was not having air conditioning but apparently this is normal for Norway. It was nice having a king bed to sleep in.
• Michael (8/5): Cute cabins near the fjords - Cabins were really cute. Four are connected together so would be really good for a small group or large family. Plenty of room, bathroom was fine too, and kitchen if you need it. We went into Sogndal for dinner. We took the nearby car ferry from Kaupanger to Gudvangen the next day, lovely.
