Guest Reviews
- Mayra (10/5): - Great location, amenities, and amazing staff!
- Liam (10/5): - It was nice
- Sirat (8/5): - Staff were very good
- charlotte (10/5): Sejour international - Hostel super bien situé pour sites historiques, parcs, restos, bus et tram. Cuisine équipée et bon acceuil/ bonne ambience.
- Aroha (8/5): - It was in a good location. Heard the church bells in the morning.
- Maria (10/5): - Berry geile......ooooo yasass
- Maria (10/5): - Sehr gut
- Carmel (6/5): - Great, affordable stay in a convenient location close to many attractions, dining, bars and shops.
- Melissa (6/5): Great location, everything else just meh - The main good thing about this hostel was the location. 2min walk to the cathedral and the real alcaraz. 15min walk to plaza de espana. The hostel itself was old, not modern at all, the window in our room wouldn’t close, the shower door broke (on my last day so didn’t care much since I was leaving), the bunk beds only had a curtain on the bottom bunk so people on the top bunk had no privacy or shield from lights being turned on at all hours, the walls are thin so heard lots of noise.
Main pro is the location, everything else was meh
- Lilly (2/5): Didn’t enjoy - Had to leave early and change accommodation as I wasn’t comfortable.
Staff seemed friendly but my room was not as pictured at all - it was unclean and basic and very outdated and I felt uncomfortable.
Didn’t feel like there was a decent common area apart from the rooftop which was open sometimes but often had bugs/cockroaches roaming about on the terrace !
- Mario (6/5): - Buen servicio de los recepcionistas.
- Abby (6/5): - The staff was friendly and there were social opportunities, but our room smelled like it had water damage and mildew. The staff kept the property clean, but there was a stench.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good place - Good place to access to the old town. Friendly service is also nice. The music at the reception is a little bit noisy, honestly speaking but I think it is endurable.
- Charles (6/5): - Good enough, very loud all night long. Every 15 minutes from 1:30-4:30am someone kept opening the door (staff members). Door has a buzzer attached.
- Manaswini (8/5): - NA
- UGO (8/5): - Easy to find, Just few steps from the cathedral, you feel the atmosphere of Andalusia.
- Lisa (8/5): Location can't be beat! - The best thing about this hostel is the location! You really can't beat that. It was just a very short walk from so many great sites. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby, too. The rooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable. Check in was easy and straight forward. The bathrooms were very small, cramped, and not very private. There was one sink for the whole floor. Also, the beds squeaked a lot whenever someone moved. It was bad enough to wake you up, too. Also, noise from the common area below was really loud late at night, even with the windows closed. Definitely bring your ear plugs for this stay.
- Harvey (10/5): Great location - The front desk lady was incredibly nice but the guy was a little hyper I think it’s the caffeine.
- Pablo (10/5): - Magnifico
- Sofia (10/5): Very friendly, lots of activities, great location - Great experience: super friendly staff, organised activities like a riverside picknick, free dinner, pub crawl, and free tours. The general atmosphere was very friendly, I was there alone but had no problems getting to know a lot of people! Great location too, and with a nice rooftop terrace. The only negative thing was the metal bunk beds, very noisy and hard to climb in and out of, because there were no real ladders. But other than that a wonderful hostel, definitely reccomend it!
- Rozitha (6/5): Never again - The staff were amazing, no complaints about them. But it does gets noisy and voices carry. More of a party, hook up place rather than a rest stop.
- Qtzz (6/5): - The hostel is quite centrally located and consists of 2 buildings with the other directly opposite. However, the WiFi signal in the opposite building from the main building is very weak especially inside the rooms
The lady staff who checked me in has attitude and credibility problems! I told her I may extend my stay for another 3 nights and she said that if I book directly with the hostel, she can give me a discounted rate of 18 Euros per night. However, the following morning, when I went to extend my stay, she told me the rate was now 50 Euros per ngiht! Unbelievable!
- Verified traveler (4/5): - We stayed in a private room which was unfortunately really mouldy (mould on the walls) and smelling of damp, that we didn’t end up sleeping in it, but due to their 48 hour cancellation policy, they would not give us a refund and said they would let the manager know. The pub crawl however was really fun and we met some great people. Location is also super central.
- Douglas (10/5): - Loved this hostel. It was literally the most convenient location for every tourist site in the city. Convenient location to some of the best tapas restaurants, (and affordable) in the area, trendy and dive bars, grocers, pharmacy, medical services (I got sick); you couldn't ask for better. Beds were basic hostel beds, privacy curtains, spacious bathrooms, and high marks on the air conditioning.
The nightly dinner option was great and the inevitable get together on the rooftop each night, was a great way to end any day. I've stayed in hostels, in 13 different countries...this one is in the top 5, without question.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very close to city center. Very nice staff. Helped us a lot with the ferias.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very central location, close to everything you need in the city. Staff are very fun and helpful for making a great stay :)!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Location is excellent, the unique downside is the noise! Property allows noise until midnight, which is to late and terrible because other many guests don't care about who wants/needs to sleep early.
Io ci ritornerai senza dubbio!
- Maria (8/5): Short but good - I stayed only one night. Got there very late and left early. My stay was good iverall
- Verified traveler (8/5): Fantastic stay! - It was in a really great location to see the Seville Cathedral and Alcazar. Would definitely recommend!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location. Walking distance to main bus and train station, plus Uber is town. Beds are a bit squeaky, but privacy curtains are great. It is probably the most welcoming, friendly, and socially active hostel I have ever stayed in. It does get loud at night (20:00-23:30), ear plugs are available for free.
- Tania (10/5): Home away from home - We booked a room with a private bathroom which was value for money. The hostel offers a free dinner which is great for meeting the other guests.
- Richard (8/5): Lovely hostel in the centre. - Lovely hostel in a fantaatuc old building which couldn’t be more central to everything. As it is a hostel you expect it to be much more basic than a hotel and perhaps it could do with a little more attention to dusting but I would absolutely recommend staying here for a budget option in Seville.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great for young travelers - Hostel One has a full schedule of daily activities including a walking tour, tapas tour, community dinner, and pub crawl. It's ideal for younger travelers since the vibe is typical of hostels. The rooftop bar is also nice and has a great view of the cathedral. They were very helpful with booking activities and offering all services you could possibly need. We would definitely stay there again!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The best hostel I have ever stayed in, the vibes were so good and everyone was like a family!!! Will definitely be coming back!!
- C (10/5): - The best hostel I have ever stayed in, the vibes were so good and everyone was like a family!!! Will definitely be coming back!!
- Li (6/5): - The location and staff were great but the facilities were poor. The fridge was a horror (stuffed with food, slight rancid odor); the noise level was horrible (the sounds from the 9 pm group dinner boomed through the interior courtyard up through all floors; the A/C required activation by the staff to BOTH turn on and off (which is ridiculous if your room was up three floor); the door/lock on my room was old and flimsy (room 26) while the other rooms on my floor had sturdy door/handles.
My room had a stuffy/stinky smell to it, and I ended up getting a cold after staying three days — this was my fourth hostel on this trip and the only one where I actively disliked staying in.
- Crystal (10/5): Great Experience!! - Amazing staff and excellent location!! The front desk staff (especially the girl) were so helpful and the hostel is right in the jewish quarter really close to the cathedral and palace. The hostel was clean. The organized tours and dinners were such a great way to meet new people from all over. There was a common area and kitchen and restaurants nearby. The hostel was hard to find on my day of arrival but after that it was easy to find! I would definitely stay here again!!
- Fran (10/5): - It was my first time staying at a hostel and now I'm ruined forever because I have crazy high expectations. We were offered free breakfast, free dinner, free walking tours during the day and during the night and most importantly it feels like a family. It was so sad to leave the hostel without getting to know more about the staff and the customers. It was especially interesting because everyone was from a different side of the world, so we had multiple perspectives to every conversation. I would highly recommend this hostel!
- BrosOnHostels (10/5): Great activities - Multiple organized activities each day kept my busy for twice as long as I expected. The hostel is basically run by volunteers who aren’t empowered to handle guest requests but are an enthusiastic bunch so service isn’t great but the friends are. A good trade I say and definitely my place in Seville.
