- Patricia (10/5): 5 stars. Convenient, safe and comfortable. - Very close to the centre of town but in a quiet area. Room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. No negatives.
- Emmelyn (10/5): We had a lovely stay at Pitfaranne Guest House - The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was clean and cute. The little touches (shortbread, Scottish tablets, and Easter chocolate) also elevated an already great experience.
- Malgorzata (10/5): - Przytulny pokój, urządzony z dużą starannością w szkockim stylu. Nowoczesna łazienka. Idealna lokalizacja w spokojnej okolicy, w samym centrum.

- Milly (10/5): Charming cottage with easy parking, large rooms, wonderful little library sitting area was a treat! - Amazing and quiet location
- Kelly (10/5): Perfect for what we needed, great wee place - Nice handy location, easy walking distance to town and dining options
- Marian (10/5): - Go central location. Close to everything.
- Joanna (10/5): -
- Bruce (8/5): - It was a very nice place to stay. The shops and restaurants were down this hill so if you were walking it meant taking stairs to get to that level.
- pia (8/5): - It was very nice and hosts friendly. But no service to the room for 3 days....meaning glasses, cups, trash, towels all went untouched. Also no communal sitting area.
- Richard (10/5): -
- Genevieve (10/5): - Loved staying here! Nice and quiet after

- ANITHA (10/5): 2 day family stay - We were warmly welcomed by the host, who kindly waited for us to help with the check-in process.
The guest house is situated only a 3-minute stroll from High Street, even though it is in a peaceful area. The bed was incredibly nice and cozy. It was a clean and comfortable stay. Overall, everything was fantastic
- Sónia (10/5): - Da localização e do sossego! De nada
- Enza (9/5): - Accoglienza Il bagno è molto piccolo
- Paolo (10/5): - Posizione pulizia
- Eduard (9/5): - Limpieza y amabilidad propietarios Habitación pequeña
- Sara (8/5): -
- Jennifer (10/5): - Cozy and quiet. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was spotless. Very walkable area and close to shopping and lots of restaurants without the noise!
- Vincent (10/5): - Maggie or Malcolm were a joy. Friendly, helpful and informative.
- Vlad (10/5): - Has everything needed for travelers like us, who like cooking their meals when possible. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked. Parking was a bit tight, but for small to medium car was ok.
- Lauren (8/5): Wonderful hosts, charming and quiet location - It was in a quiet and wonderful location! The hosts were fantastic. Bed was comfortable! When we were staying, no breakfast was offered- a bit of a disappointment after reading some rave reviews! Also a fan in the room would have improved conditions, it was quite warm. Bedding and curtains could do with a refresh, there was a musty odor by the curtains where I was sleeping.
- Fiona (7/5): Good - Great location with parking. Has everything you need. Bit limited for space in room & bathroom.
- Jeff (10/5): - Clean and comfy
- Kenneth (8/5): - I booked the family room to have a bit more space, however, it turns out that room is about 11 x 12. Not really a ton of room for a full size and two twin beds. The street and off street parking is really tight. The bathroom/shower looked like it was recently refurbished and very nice. We prefer places which offer breakfast as well and those were sometimes difficult to find in Inverness. This place has a solarium set up with three dining tables but did not offer breakfast. Wasn’t sure what those tables were for.
- Yvonne (5/5): Disappointing, close to city centre but no mention made of the route needed, too many steps for someone with mobility pr - Private apartment Smaller than expected, no staff available if you needed anything and was not told breakfast was unavailable that week though I specifically asked if I could book it as we were staying in the apartment! Was told not necessary as you paid at time!
- Paige (10/5): - Great experience!
- Tim (8/5): Cozy Guesthouse - The location is great, near to the city center, cafés and restaurants are near by.
The staff was super nice and helpful. Check-in and check-out as well as the communication was very easy and reliable.
The room was clean and everything was as expected. The beds were quite short for us as tall people.
- Gurpreet (8/5): Very good -
- Angela (10/5): - This was one of our favorite stays over a 3 week Ireland/Scotland tour. Perfectly situated for walking the town, and for getting out to explore sights. The room was clean, comfortable and well stocked, it felt like a real home away from home. The hosts Maggie and Malcolm were as kind as could be, and made us feel welcome. They also helped point us in directions when we had questions about restaurants or driving. I’d highly recommend a stay here.
- Deacon (9/5): Superb - Warm welcome, good local information given and available. Nothing
- Philip (10/5): - Stayed for a long weekend while taking part in the Etape. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and was in a perfect location, just a stone's throw from the town centre. The hosts were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They truly made our stay special. Would definitely stay here again!
- Steve (10/5): Exceptional - Everything you need, and lovely hosts
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Linzi (9/5): Superb -
- Claudia (10/5): - Nette Vermieter, zentral gelegen
- Barbara (10/5): Cozy convenient welcoming - Perfect place for our 5 day stay in Inverness. A little bit outside of the town center but only a few minutes walk to everything, including the train station. The area was residential and quiet. Our hosts were so welcoming and helpful. The beds were the most comfortable of our entire 9 day trip in Scotland. Fully functional kitchen with stove, microwave, frig, dishwasher and washing machine. Our hosts stocked basic breakfast items and milk even though we chose self-catering. Tv service was great. WIFI worked well. Good value for all we received. Highly recommend. Everything was great!
- Janetta (10/5): Exceptional -
- Juan (10/5): - Our experience was just too good. We absolutely loved everything about this property, Inverness and Scotland in general. So so lovely!
- Wes (10/5): Amazing - Our stay was amazing! The host were the best. Great location. Close to everything on foot. Also, in a local neighborhood.
- Stephen (10/5): Brilliant. - Everything!! Not a thing.
- Naomi (10/5): A lovely welcoming stay - Maggie and Malcolm were so welcoming and hospitable. The breakfast was great value for money and delicious! We loved our bedroom, such nice thoughtful details all around and a really welcoming place to stay.
- Vickie (9/5): Great place. Host wonderful -
- Rob (8/5): Nice place in Inverness - Friendly hosts and a very good locatio. A bit small, especially bathroom and sink. But you know that when booking.
- Patrick (10/5): Exceptional - Warm welcoming hosts, very quiet neighborhood and building. Close to attractions and river walk. Excellent breakfast too! Parking was tricky but Malcolm was always there to guide us.
- Megan (10/5): - So glad we chose to stay at Pitfaranne! The home and our room was very nice and comfortable. The location was fantastic - close to shops and food. Maggie cooked us fantastic breakfasts and gave us suggestions on the local area and a great local pub! Malcolm always popped by at breakfast to say hello and was wonderful with his driving directions. On our last day there he chatted with us about possible distilleries to stop at on route to our next destination. Anyone planning to visit Inverness should really consider staying here! You won’t be disappointed 😊. Megan
- Caroline (9/5): Great location lovely couple who run it even with parking not great would stay again - Breakfast spot on amazing customer service room lovely set out good location Parking very difficult to get in/out of due to street parking
- Stefan (10/5): Maggie is a very nice person, really lovely guest house to stay -
- Aayush (10/5): Amazing hosts with a cozy and comfy cottage - Maggie and Malcolm were wonderful hosts. They were friendly, jovial and helpful. Their guest house is cosy, neat, clean, well equipped with a little en-suite bathroom, and well maintained overall. The room was carpeted, and the beds were super comfortable.
Pitfarrane Guest House was very well located, away from the bustle of the town center, yet within walking distance from the station, restaurants, and the the center itself.
- Sanjay (10/5): Great stay - Very convenient. Close to the city centre. Maggot and Malcom were great hosts.
- Elena (9/5): Highly recommended - Loved it! Maggie and Malcolm are great hosts, super friendly and helpful. The house is really nice, everything is modern and extremely clean. Breakfast was also amazing! The bathroom is a bit small, but it is very clean and has everything you need.
- Benedek (8/5): Very good - Superb breakfast. Host is very kind. The room and the bathroom are rather tiny. This is something you see on the photos as well, but be aware when you book.
- Wade (10/5): Exceptional -
- Melissa (10/5): Just what our family of 4 needed while visiting Inverness on vacation - Very clean, comfortable and the hosts were super friendly. Our family of 4 was able to stay comfortably. Also liked it was quiet and close to city center. Short 4 min walk
- Emma (8/5): Very good - Check out at 10h
- Mariia (10/5): Good choice to feel atmosphere of Scotland. - Cozy rooms, welcome water, coffee and tea. Great location. Tasty breakfast. Soft beds. Good wi-fi. It was cold during night, but extra blanket in the wardrobe helped.
- Jennifer (8/5): Very good -
- Heather (8/5): Very good -
- Sarah (10/5): - This was amazing! Maggie and Malcolm were so accommodating. They were friendly and had an amazing breakfast. The house was clean and in a great location for walking around Inverness

- Louise (10/5): Wonderful, comfortable and welcoming place to stay when looking to enjoy the city of Inverness - Great position and the welcoming atmosphere of a traditional guest house.
We were made welcome, the breakfast was excellent and the bed really comfortable - and we loved that it was made by the Blind Craft Bed workshop close by. Everything was perfect
- Melody (10/5): - Spacious family room close to everything!
- Jenny (9/5): Good value and location - Good location, friendly, everything you needed in the room Small bathroom
- Verified traveler (10/5): Perfect for your Inverness stay. - This is a cute apartment and thoughtfully appointed. The owners are friendly and helpful. It is perfectly located to historical areas of Inverness and the river walk. I definitely recommend this place.
- Vickie (10/5): We would stay at Pitfaranne again! It was a lovely place. - The hosts were very accomodating - booked us a taxi, very responsive to questions we had. Room was clean and well appointed. Bathroom was nice, though small (to be expected.) Quiet neighborhood. Delicious breakfasts. The towel rack didn't heat.
- Nathalie (8/5): It’s Nice for a short stay - Being close to the center and it was clean The bedroom is too small for 3 with suitcases and stuff
- Ronnie (9/5): Superb -
- Diane (8/5): Very good - Great location, everything you need for a self catering stay. Hosts were very welcoming. The sink in the bathroom was too small and awkward to use.
- Thomas (10/5): - Had a lovely stay, beautiful clean home including street parking. Right close to town, couldn't ask for anything else!
- Trudy (9/5): Superb - We were made to feel very welcome by the owners and nothing we requested was too much trouble. Lovely people! The breakfasts and Maggie’s grab bags when we had an early start were an extra bonus.
Pitfaranne is walking distance to great restaurants and the shopping centre.
- Catherine (10/5): Maggie and Malcolm were wonderful hosts and I highly recommend staying here - It was very cozy and provided everything we needed. Parking was good and we just a two minute walk into town. The only negative would be the bathroom sink which was a bit hard to navigate but the shower was great
- Kelly (9/5): Superb - Good room and a great location for Inverness. Excellent breakfast to kickstart the day.
