• Monika (10/5): Wundervoller und sozialer Ort. - Die Vorhänge vor den Betten und der Gemeinschaftsraum mit ganz vielen kleinen Annehmlichkeiten, auch der Hof des Hostels und die geräumige und top ausgestattete Küche. Ich hab den Ort geliebt. Alles ist sehr durchdacht. Das Abschließen der Küche um 22 Uhr und Aufschließen erst um 8 Uhr passt nicht zu den Bedürfnissen von Reisenden. Auch der Gemeinschaftsraum wird versperrt. Es ,fehlt ein Ort zu. Reden und Zusammensein, wenn es später wird.

The room was clean and comfortable, and it was nice to share the space with friendly fellow travelers. Overall, a good value for the price, and I would recommend it for anyone looking for affordable accommodation with a great vibe.

• Timothy (9/5): Great location; lovely and helpful staff, a bit pricey, but likely to be the best bang for your buck in the area - Great location. Lovely and helpful staff. Beds had curtains for privacy and electric chargers for devices. Nice large lounge space. Pricier than most hostels. Quarters were a bit cramped, as were hallways and bathrooms. Noticed only one small space for storage on my double-bunk corner unit, while other double-bunks had storage spots for each bed.

• Ray (10/5): It's a nice place to have a place and I would stay again - The Cohort is clean, Has a huge well appointed kitchen with an island! The Wifi was no problem and the downstairs bathrooms were amazing. My bunk was sturdy and didn't rock around when the person above shifted about. Rooms have key cards which are an excellent idea. In an attempt to save the environment the kettles at Cohort by default heat water to 80c before they switch off and unless you know how to work the kettles properly (and many people didn't), it is simply a waste as tea leaves need a rolling boil and I ended up throwing many cups of tea away. I could only get the dark coloured kettle to boil water after a few attempts, which is again wasteful! Also there is no bio (food) waste bin.

• Birgit (9/5): Rigtig godt sted til rimelige penge. - Hyggeligt, rent og pænt, super venligt personale. Placering i forhold til bus, tog, indkøb, strand og spisesteder/pubs er perfekt. Tæt på vandremuligheder. 6-sengsværelset var meget lille. Savnede fralægningsmulighed når man var i bad, og en lille hylde ved sengen.

• Nicci (9/5): Great value in the heart of St Ives - Morning coffee!!!! Drinks fountains and onsite bar. Great vibe, lovely and social and chill Great kitchen and lounge. Privacy curtains were fab. Instructions about where the back door was would have been good. Our room shook every time a door slammed - soft gas door closers would solve this problem. W Bathroom needed a shelf by sinks to rest things on (benches were often wet) And the seagulls! Oh the seagulls at 1am and 2am and 3 am and … !!!!

I have two people I would like to mention, there was a lovey lady that helped me with - The property was absolutely amazing, every clean, the staff that was there was absolutely amazing, the people I stayed with was really respectful. I honestly can’t wait to come back The only thing I would say is the fact is, The women thought the men facilities was the same as there own facilities. cos there were close together , but just let them know where the need to be.Thanks you
• Chrysa (10/5): Great organised hostel to meet other other travellers in the heart of the town - Very well organised hostel in the heart of the town In general everything was very good ,the only thing I would mention is more shelves along the beds ,for more space to locate things like mobiles a bottle of water or anything else as the beds are our “rooms “ for a few days

• Tracey (8/5): Cohort Hotel hospitality... - Fabulous, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. Spacious areas for relaxing. Facilities sufficient. Sleeping arrangements are adequate. Well priced extra comforts. Close proximity to everything. Parking is not too far and reasonable. Sounds from the street and seagulls screeching in the middle of the night can be annoying. The water fosset noise from other rooms can be heard. Not being able to control the shower temperature was unpleasant as it was way too hot!

• Silvia (10/5): Friendly, clean and safe - 2pm check in earlier than the norm. Reception staff friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Communal areas clean bright and comfy. Outside courtyard area to enjoy the sun. I stayed in a 6 bed female dorm. Each bed had a plug, light and curtain for privacy. Clean showers and toilets. Central location. As a solo female I felt completely safe. I liked everything. Faultless.

• Lilley (9/5): For central St Ives this was surprisingly available and comfortably laid back and central - Nice to have free tea of coffee up to a certain time. Room wasn’t full and so wasn’t crowded even if the seagulls could come close to the window. The curtains in the bed and fairy light lighting and switches were appreciated. A bath is always appreciated but I get that showers are more amenable in a hostel situation. I’d have preferred single sex too.

We knew we were in a shared room so this is just nit picking, there were a few people which were in and out of the room until around midnight, apart from that everything was exceptional!

• anna-b (10/5): A clean and friendly hostel packed with excellent facilities and opportunities for restfulness. - The facilities were fantastic. Bed was very comfortable. Staff were really friendly.
• Emma (9/5): Perfect spot in St Ives. - Plenty of spaces to relax and chill out at the hostel, well equipped kitchen and the bus stop was right in front of the hostel. Co-op is on the corner close by so a good place to shop for food or any bits you may need. Squeaky doors, so nighttime was a bit noisy but that's also on the guests slamming doors - not the hostel.
• Travellerr00 (10/5): - The hostel was clean, water was warm and there was plenty of common area. The location is perfect, very close to everything! Personnel were kind and helpful. Very good value for the price. It was a bit hard to get in touch with reception/personnel since they are not always physically at the reception area. I had to wander around a bit and wait to get in touch with them. But they were polite and helpful and I got everything sorted.

• M. (8/5): Prima plek met goede faciliteiten - Leuke plek met prima bedden. De kamer was donker, stil en fris, dat is meestal anders in hostels. Uitgebreide keuken en gezellige en rustige living. De douches en wastafels boven zijn erg krap maar gelukkig waren beneden nieuwe douches en wc’s gemaakt.

• Anthea (10/5): A Gorgeous Hostel In A Gorgeous Town - Gorgeous hostel. Spacious. Lovely staff. Relaxing. Comfy beds. Loved the.privacy curtain, wall lamp and little device shelf. Lovely big kitchen with all the amenities. Perfect location. I'll be back for sure. There are absolutely no hooks in the communal showers, meaning everyone had to put their stuff on the floor whilst getting changed. This tiny detail would make a world of difference. Also my dorm room was a bit smaller than I'd like.

• lauren8891 (8/5): Great hostel - Great location, close to all the beaches and the town, bus stop etc The staff are really friendly and helpful. The coffee is good especially as its free in the morning. Price was amazing and the communal areas are well set up. Privacy curtains around the bed The room was noisy, so my sleep was very disrupted. Unfortunately the girls in our room were noisy very late and had the light on around midnight, phones going off in the night. There's should be as many signs up saying to keep noise down at night as there are for the sand! Need some more hooks in the room.

• Manon (8/5): Great central stay to visit surrounding area - Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were a bit small but the bedspaces were big enough and the lockers were big enough to put all your backpacks in. The beds were comfortable and they provided curtains for some privacy. There is a nice common space and dinning room to meet people. The hostel is not far from the beach and bus station. They provide female and male seperate sanitary rooms.
• Caroline (8/5): A perfect solution as it made a good base for travelling from one place to another. - I thought it was very good value for money, and the perfect solution if you wanted to spend a little extra time in St Ives without having to rush back. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. There was the choice to stay in an all-female dormitory - I am a lone female traveller. The lounge was lovely and had a quiet area to one side for peaceful reflection. Free coffee in the morning - you just help yourself. A good number of toilet cubicles and a good size shower and wash area. Comfortable bed too. I can’t think of anything that I didn’t like apart from the noise outside at night, which couldn’t be helped and certainly was not any fault of the hostel. If anything could be improved, I’d say (and this is a fairly minor point) - the ladders to the top bunks were uncomfortable to put your feet on, as they are basically metal pipes. If they had something that felt easier to navigate, that would be good. I found that wearing socks made them too slippery, so I went up and down them with bare feet and held on tight to the metal frame of the bunk. Having said that - I love a top bunk.

• Claudia (6/5): - L'uso delle parti comuni. La stanza con tre letti a castello era microscopica e claustrofobica, veramente troppo piccola. Avevamo il letto di sopra e non avevamo nemmeno un posto a sedere al piano di sotto. Inaccettabile.
• Elisa (8/5): A great budget option for st Ives - The beds were private with curtains and they were actually long enough so you felt like you had space! The showers have a ten second push button, but I think this is pretty normal for hostels
• Samantha (10/5): Enjoyable! - Honestly ..,. Surprisingly nice property. Beds all have certain, chargers, and a light. No locks on the lockers but they are massive. My friend had a lock and both of our backpacks for no problem (plus some). Staff had free coffee from 8-10 which was a nice perk. They also had a cubby with a tv where you could watch Netflix. Great location. Overall, very comfortable stay! Nothing really, as far as hostels go, I was impressed. Didn’t see or use the kitchen though so I can’t speak to that part of the property.

• Natasha (9/5): - Location is amazing, staff were SOOO friendly. Beds were very clean and very comfy! Wifi cut out in the bedroom sometimes - and St Ives have very sketchy signal so was annoying when it cut off. However, as it was free and fast when connected, its a minor annoyance.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The kitchen was well equipped and clean. I liked that the place didn't feel over-populated. I loved that they were relaxed about me hanging around in the bar and chill-out area for a while after check out The front door kept slamming very loudly. People didn't bother to shut it gently, so I think it would be a good idea to install a door damper to soften the bang. Since my room was close to the entrance I heard it a lot

• Wei (5/5): Bargain for staying in St Ives, but poor management of the property. - Location is Perfect for a Seaside Goer! Very Central close to shops & restaurants. The management of the property was poor, staffs were nice but not very thoughtful. For the duration of the three days staying, you would feel awkward all the time. Compared to other Youth Hostel Brands, like the YHA Hostel, management was much better and thoughtful.

• Louice Johansen (8/5): Good place to stay - Cozy hostel with nice atmosphere, helpful staff and good rooms. Perfect location in the city and sleeping and shower was workign really well. I missed somewhere to place luggage to open in a practical way and maybe a shelf for other things, and I would also appreciate some hooks to hang stuff on. Maybe also a chair. Floor was sticky so it did not feel clean.
