- barry (4/5): Good night sleep but so much was broken - I was grateful for a bef after a long day, which was comfortable. The room itself was clean. And I was able to park directly outside my own room which was a real cleem Nothing really worked in the room, only two lights worked in the whole of the room. The TV didn’t work, the plug in the bath didn’t work. It was opposite there hadn’t been much maintenance for quite a few years.
The decor was actually okay, but you’re around the fringes it just needed work. Would I stay there again maybe at least you could park right outside your room which was an absolute bonus with a lot of stuff and hey ho I had a good night sleep.
- Dolby (10/5): Short stay - Freindy night staff help full with any problems Nice size room beds could been more better
- Andy (6/5): - So much change in 6 years ,

- Dave laundon (6/5): The shower only just worked, the carpet was discussing, the place needs some investment. - Not available It wasn’t the cheapest option, the place needs some investment.

- Anareta (10/5): -
- Ricardo Andre (8/5): -
- Nathan (1/5): Stay clear - Nothing was a terrible stay The room was on the first flooor all the tiles on the stairs was all broken and some lose this made it very dangerous going up the stairs no warning sign
Room was very very outdated
The tv was hardwired into the plug socket looked very dangerous
On check out no one even bothered to ask if are stay was ok
- Warren (10/5): -
- Smith (8/5): - Perfect location, nice rooms adequate for our needs.

- Mispah (6/5): Nicely warmed up before we got there. - Convenient to get to Not so clean, bits of sand between sheets, sink area needs decorating, shower curtain needs a wash.
- GRAY (6/5): Comfortable Warm Convenience - It was convenient and warm. I previously stayed at holidayinn and although holidayinn is a nicer cleaner place to stay it isn’t as warm therefore I would opt Tollgate Hotel over Holidayinn over the winter or colder months. No contest.
Tollgate Hotel is very USA motel vibes. I’d imagine the ideal place for an extramarital affair or hook up due to its appearance of discretion and privacy and comfort.
There is a pool I believe which I didn’t have the time to try out. Next time
I’d stay here again I would have like a shower option. But the bath sufficed.

- mayo (9/5): -
- Frend (1/5): - It definitely needs a refurbishment, the tv was broken with the satellite being what looks like cut, there was no heating, 2 plug in heater later we managed some kind on heat. It was very noisy. The beds where uncomfortable.
- Soule (1/5): Bad place to book - Nothing and I need my refund. No heating and TV the room was very cold and bed was bad as well. The guy at the reception tried.
- Sean (3/5): Just please guys do not book for your own sake I thought it looked clean and tidy but soon as I opened the door met with - Nothing at all. Room stank of dampness
Shower didn’t work
Tap leaking
Dirty bed sheets
Value for money!
Says it’s 4* it definitely isn’t
- Brooke (7/5): - Gave me American motel vibes, loved it
Nice and warm upon arrival Nothing
- Bryan (6/5): - Location and parking Shower didnt work. Unable to heat the room.
- Ewa (10/5): -
- Warren (8/5): -
- Toby (7/5): - Cost; if you’re on a budget but still want somewhere clean and comfortable. Staff were nice, friendly and helpful. Nothing comes to mind. It’s not the Ritz or Adlon but this is place is superb value for money and very pleasant.
- mupasiri (2/5): -
- Rizwan Chand (4/5): - Staff and location was good Smell from room, Bed linen and pillows
- Tammy (1/5): Very uncomfortable and cold - Hot water Room freezing cold no heaters or radiators work and when ask staff they do nothing about it or offer no support
- Chukwudalu (9/5): It was a good place - Everything was perfect
- Kenneth (6/5): - to many bonus questions The lowering of the heat on the main radiator
- Fryer (10/5): -
- Charlene (9/5): - The room 101, location, good value for money. My bathroom basin was blocked.
- abdelkadir (10/5): - Quiet Nothing
- Mat (6/5): Worth the money - Location was fine. Staff are great. Plenty of parking. Room smelt of stale cigarettes.
Tiny tiny TV.
Shower is quite poor.
- Gareth (9/5): - Quiet
- nathan (4/5): Needs a re-revamp - Parking. Broken and dirty/ stained furniture stained carpets, electrical plugs buzzed and kept me awake, cars headlights lit up my room when they parked up, TV remote didn't work.
Decor very tired and dated.
- Dianne (1/5): -
- Rebecca (10/5): - Clean easy to get to. Not close to anything
- Sharon (10/5): - I thank you for the night I would really recommend this place it really felt at home we even paid extra 10 pounds to stay till 13h00..Our checking out time was 10h00 but we want to stay for abit longer.. Nothing
- Louise (1/5): Noisy, smelly, unkempt, sheets did not fit bed, dangerous broken step. - Terrible. Avoid!
- Lewis (3/5): Awful - I stayed many times 7-8 years ago the hotel has changed hands I could not believe how it has deteriorated, no bar, no breakfast , nothing . I had to fix the lock on my door as it fell off , I’m sure the hotel houses either asylum seekers or local people of the street , noisy children running around at night , will never stay again Everything
- Marion (1/5): Probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. - The bedding and towels were clean. They provided small sample toiletries. The whole place was very run down. It wasn’t good last year, but as the owners had only just taken over, we thought it might have improved and we’re willing to give them another chance. It was in fact worse! They had allocated upper floor rooms although I had told them that we had people with us that couldn’t manage stairs. The only member of staff we saw the whole stay was on reception. She did relocate us, but only after I made a fuss about it. There was no restaurant and no bar that we were aware of. We were of the opinion that it was being used to house refugees.
- Rizwan Chand (10/5): - Nice and comfy place TV was so small, other than everything was fine 🙂
- Paul (1/5): -
- Georgia (6/5): Good location - Good location for seeing the rest of our family and winter gardens. Initially the room looked clean. Room was tired, needs painting and holes, scruff marks fixing. The bar / lounge and breakfast options were not available. Advertises daily maid service. We never saw a maid and I had to go to reception to request more toilet paper. On 2 occasions I had to go to reception as our door card / key didn't work. If these things were put right it would b a great place and good value for money.
- Russell (3/5): -
- Setfree (4/5): -
- Ian Bajorski (4/5): - Very friendly staff Room was not very clean. Cigarette butts on the shelf of the bedside table and beds were were uncomfortable
