Guest Reviews
- Richard (10/5): - Fantastic spot. Traffic noise at night with the rooms at the front, to be expected. Rooms clean and tidy with everything you need for a short stay in London.
- Lindsey (4/5): - The property hasn't been well maintained (as things that were broken when I stayed 10 months ago were still broken. There were ants in the kitchen and there wasn't available tea or coffee (things that you would expect compared to similar properties in London)
- MARK (8/5): Blackfriars Stayinn apartment - We stayed at the Stayinn apartments at Blackfriars in London. It was warm and clean, a bit noisy due to building work across the road. It is 10 minutes from Blackfriars station. 15 minutes from Blackfriars pier. A day ticket for the Uber boats cost £25 per adult if you buy online. It is a great way to travel and you can get on/off at many places. The West End theatres are only 20-30 minutes walk away. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby. There is a very nice Indian restaurant next door. St Paul's Cathedral can be seen from the apartment window and is 10 minutes walk away. The only thing to watch out for is the roads. They can be very busy. Our apartment had everything we needed for a short city break. TV. WiFi, oven, fridge, washing machine and dishwasher, and a nice shower. Bed was comfy.
- Donna (8/5): No reception at pkace - They wanted deposit when we got to the door. Needed to find apos and card that booked with street was very loud could not hear person on phone. I was told it had reception. It didn't
- Verified traveler (8/5): One night stay - Excellent location & all communications went smoothly. Just make sure your smart phone has full charge & coverage as communication is all via email.
- Naynesh (2/5): - The apartments are not sign posted at all so spent a while looking around. The heating was not working and emailed them. The only heater was was radiator in the longe and the toilet.
It was cold on the room and didn’t sleep well.
I don’t normally comp in but this was ridiculous.
- Lindsey (6/5): - There was damage at the property and not very well maintained. The location is great
- Verified traveler (4/5): All round bad experience - Single glazing in bedroom next to a busy side street. Very noisy. Sounded like the windows were open. Needs secondary glazing. No sleep whatsoever with restaurant staff and people walking down the side street all night.
Hairs in the bath.
Internal security thumb turn on entrance door doesn’t work. Anyone with the door code could just walk in at any time.
Heating not working. Contacted StayInn who advised it was working with out attempting to come and inspect it. Then stopped responding. Found an electric heater in the cupboard but it didn’t work.
- Verified traveler (4/5): A bit run down - Apartment is a bit run down and in need of some attention. Mattress really uncomfortable, broken switches and sockets and no mugs. Curtains are rubbish so bedroom is really bright and lots of noise from alley.
- C (8/5): - Brilliant location
A very short walk to Blackfriars station, meant i was minutes away from the tube. Quieter than i thought it would be. Great to have extra room and kitchen facilities for a longer stay in London
- Chander (2/5): - Good size apartment, condition is poor and stains on curtains and walls. Hygiene was concerning. Very small sink in both Kitchen & bathroom.
- Petya (10/5): - Good value for money
- Alison (6/5): No instructions for appliances - Verging on a little too cold for comfort with no obvious way to turn on the heating.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Double booked , stranger obtaining access - Place was nothing like in the pictures, quite run down and unhygienic. Old style single glass sash windows out onto the back of a pub that didn’t close properly, very noisy. Worst part was that they overbooked and I got the scare of my life having a stranger being in my apartment when I came back after being out for a work meeting with all my belongings in there. Totally unacceptable and left as felt unsafe and the stranger would not leave. Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else.
- William (10/5): - I really liked the layout of this place. I felt like I got a lot of value from the amenities and space.
- Richard (6/5): Ok, but no towels!! - Everything was 'ok'. However... NO TOWELS was shocking !!!!
- Gary (6/5): - Central location but noisy because of that, but expected.
Apt was a good size and well equipped but the mattress was the worst I have ever known. Really needs to be replaced.
The check in process is unnecessarily complicated
- Verified traveler (6/5): A Rather Challenging Stay - Would've loved to have given the apartment a higher rating for it's close proximity to major tourist sites and cleanliness. The bed was comfortable and neatly made upon arrival. Wifi remain connected, and TV service was good! Kitchen and bathroom were exactly as described--though the refrigerator required a good defrost and multiple overhead lights were out. Nevertheless, as others have commented, the location suffers from loud noise all around. I heard near constant road traffic (it's near a major thoroughfare) and heavy footfall from the apartment above, so I got very little sleep at night. Additionally, I forgot the code to the apartment door on the evening of my first evening out. I called the apartment service 3 times between 5 and 9:00 o'clock for help (including once from a police station). Surprisingly, my calls when straight to voicemail. I could've been stranded outside overnight without a kind intervention. I would be challenged to state wholeheartedly that my experience was worth what I paid, considering other alternatives.
- Ian (4/5): - Noisy bedroom - there are very loud bottle collections from various pubs at around 3am-4am. The central heating is noisy and sounds like running water. The TV was not working and there was no one to answer on the contact number when I tried to ask for help.
- Luna (2/5): They don’t refund your deposit - Rude customer service
