Josebe (7/5): - Tuvieron un problema con nuestra habitación y uno de los dos días nos cambiaron de habitación a una mejor (con baño privado y nevera). No esta lejos de Yosemite (~45 mins). Hay una cocina común (para todo el recinto) para cocinar y almacenar alimentos. Al habernos hecho el cambio de habitación, nuestro equipaje estuvo en recepción todo un día y encima lo tuvimos que volver a cargar a la nueva habitación. La cocina, al ser común, no estaba muy limpia.

Sanne (8/5): Heerlijk verblijf prachtige omgeving - Leuke tent met veranda om na een lange wandeling even lekker te zitten. Het eten bij het restaurant was erg lekker. De bedden lagen prima. De tent was niet heel schoon. De bedden wel hoor. Wat stoffig en raggen her en der maar mocht de pret niet drukken. Heerlijk geslagen. We zaten wel op een berg maar dat weet je van tevoren. Goed voor de beenspieren
Rianne (8/5): - Locatie is op 30 minuten rijden vanaf Yosemite. Fijne douche. Ruim, warm en goede straal. Ruime keuken met alle benodigdheden. Stille omgeving, geen last van buren. De studio ligt niet op het park zelf, maar 2 a 3 minuten rijden er vanaf. Hierdoor kun je niet makkelijk/snel gebruik maken van de faciliteiten daar.

Loved the Sauna and spa area... didnt realise there was massage till after left! shared bathroom, which of course came at lower rate, meant noisy, have neighbours, walk past window, very early and late...
Chloe (5/5): Nuit en dortoir compliquée - Les équipements sont top, notamment dans la cuisine mise à disposition. Le june bug cafe est super chouette, nous recommandons d’aller y faire un tour :) Nous avons dormi en dortoir et la nuit fut compliquée à cause des personnes qui partageaient notre cabine. Ils n’avaient que faire des personnes qui dormaient et ont fait des allers-retours dehors toute la nuit + parlaient fort sur le porche de la cabine.

Bernice (1/5): Didn’t even bother staying there - Didn’t really like much other then it was 30 minutes away from Yosemite entrance. Tent room out dated, no light, no plugs( one power strip cord hanging on its last tread), ac looked like it didn’t work, by heated room- they meant small old heater, creepy Native American picture frame on walls, the room was located all the way up on the mountain, no parking up close, restroom and shower where okay but small, they where located far away for tent room though. But the worst part of it all where the stairs leading up to the room, about 60 horribly made steps, (dangerous to walk at night and if you’re planning to have drinks and going up and down the stairs to use the restroom, forget it) literally a hike up to your room after you just hiked all day in Yosemite, you definitely don’t want to do that. And the front desk guy look and seem like he was annoyed with his job. I ended up leaving, wasting $340, after spend 45 minutes there, had to book another room somewhere else. Definitely pack light if you’re gonna be staying in the tents because going up those stairs with all your luggage is no joke. Not disabled friendly.

Patricia (10/5): Comfortable and quiet - We booked the full house 15mn away, as well informed by the property. The house is super comfortable with really good beds and kitchen. The place is nice and quiet, to see the stars to hear the birds. The staff helped us facilitating instructions for check in and check out. The location is 15mn from the resort by car, closer to Mariposa and a bit further away from Yosemite but we used the opportunity to hike routes in this lower lands of Midpines.
Yamini (10/5): Excellent - Everything was excellent I randomly booked this property seeing few pictures and expected nothing much in return. I was mind blown how excellent the stay was, room was clean, comfortable beds, full greenery, and just an hour away from Yosemite. The cherry on the cake was the June cafe which is inside the property. Best food with huge portions.

Michele (3/5): Not recommended in - Not too far from Yosemite No parking nearby, no bathroom nearby, walking and dragging luggage up hill 500 feet over rocks and mud is not conducive to rest. Had to wait for checking in. No one was available. Requested something nearest bathroom and parking, but received the furthest location from everything. Accommodations were dirty except for bed. Would not rebook.

Darlene (10/5): - Single room was fantastic. I switched from a dorm that was not very comfortable. Customer service was good including finding my lost glasses and sending them to me, plus giving me a price break when I switched to a single room the second night. The kitchen setup was good. The first night I was in a dorm that was not very comfortable. I did not like the restaurant food although everyone raved about it.
TravelBug26 (8/5): Very well appointed cabin - This was not a rustic cabin. It was a very well-appointed dwelling. We loved having a full kitchen and BBQ as we ate all of our meals there and took our picnic lunch we made there. It was very roomy and the internet worked very well. We did not eat at the June Bug restaurant, but the locals told us it was great food. It was a long, steep, narrow driveway and that was not fun to go up and down several times. I thought the location would be great to get to the West Entrance to the Park easily, but that stretch of road is likely to get rock and mud slides and closes the road, which happened to us. For three days we had to drove around to the South Entrance. The resort area across the highway was cute and the Hummingbird Cabin we stayed in were cute and clean, but I probably we not choose to stay on that side of the park again.

Bianca Renó (4/5): The tent cabin is a trap. - The kitchen was well equipped. Shower water was hot. The blanket was good. The tent cabin we stayed is very far away from everything. It's an interesting decision to place the cabins without private restrooms the fastest from the toilet and shower facilities. During the night is cold (even in spring), dark and you need to go down a flight of stairs to get there. The kitchen is one more flight of stairs away, meaning we almost accomplished more steps inside the ~resort~ than we did hiking in Yosemite. There's no towel nor paper to dry your hands/ face on the restroom, if you don't have your towel you need to use your clothes to that. The cabin ceiling is low enough that you can't stand up if you're near the bed. No place to hang your towels after usage. Although there's a noisy heater in the cabin, it gets really cold at night (34°F/2°C in spring, I don't want to imagine how it would be if it was winter). The bed is narrow for a couple, smaller than a standard double bed. It wasn't cheap enough to justify this poor experience we had. If you're thinking about getting the tent, I definitely don't recommend.

YUJIN (10/5): Super recommend - I had been struggling with an issue with my car for a long time, and the maintenance guy came and helped me so well. He was an excellent professional and resolved my car’s problem so easily. Including the staff at check-in, everyone was very kind and helpful. For this level of cleanliness and comfort at this price, I would gladly choose to stay here again. The shower room door in the female dorm doesn’t stay closed and keeps swinging open because the dorm building is slanted.😂

For the price, basic amenities should be included. The spa was closed for repairs, a great disappointment as we made this choice for those amenities. Difficult to get to the room after a long day if hiking. I expected a higher end experience for the price.
Claudia (7/5): Overall fine, location is an hour away from Yosemite, it’s a scenic drive. - It was right next to a bus stop, which is convenient, the cafe was fine, and nice to have a kitchen and ping pong table and foosball for the kids. Our son liked the bunk bed. It’s in a hill with lots of stairs to get to your room, but you get your steps in. Lots of bugs hence the name bugs resort.

We would co - We stayed in a private cottage with its own kitchen and bathroom, which was a great setup. The location felt secluded and peaceful, away from the road, so it was very quiet and relaxing. The property itself has great amenities, including a restaurant, spa, and recreational areas — which is a big plus. Unfortunately, our cottage was located across the road from the main complex, so we weren’t able to fully enjoy the restaurant and spa, as it required driving every time. The refrigerator was very loud and positioned extremely close to the bed, which was quite disruptive. Additionally, the mattress and pillows were uncomfortable. These factors significantly affected the quality of our sleep.

Heather (8/5): Great location, great value, friendly staff, unique beautiful stay! - We stayed in a canvas tent and were toasty warm. I was surprised that bedding and towels were provided, and shampoo/conditioner/soap were provided in the showers. It was quiet, and all the staff we encountered were very friendly. Incredible value! We had a delicious breakfast the following morning. Bonus - we had service, so I was able to catch up on emails, before unplugging for the rest of the trip. There were A LOT of stairs to get to our accommodations, and to/from the bathroom. Great excercise, just hard when carrying a suitcase. The showers got dirty toward the end of the night, but not awful.

Jody (2/5): Place more information in the ad's. I never would have booked this had I known. - N/A It was not disclosed that there was a lack of access. We had to climb 80 stairs to get to our room, the second from the farthest out. All they needed to do was look at me to see I am 70 years old. We checked in before the check-in time, yet we were given the cabin that was so far out. I could have tripped and fallen, or even had a heart attack. Common sense needs to be in the workers' training!

SHANNON (5/5): Get what you pay for (dont pay more than $100) - We travelled from Yosemite and it was roughly 30 mins and the drive was nice. The beds were comfy enough and we just needed a place to sleep so it wasnt all bad. For the price, we got what we paid for. I thought it was going to be an actual tent or something similar. It was a plywood box with beds in it, and the air did not work. They said we could use the space heaters...it was 85 degrees. Had to lay with all the windows and the doors open, and we could hear the neighbors outside all night. Also it is a HIKE to the bathrooms!!!!! The restaurant was just okay.

Marion (10/5): Will absolutely stay again - What’s not to love about this place? The location is great - and accessible through YARTS; the cabins are comfortable and the views stunning; the cafe is delicious (a little pricy, but definitely NOT overpriced!); there is a spa and a yoga room; the staff is extremely helpful and kind; and it is calm. If I come back to the region, Yosemite bug will definitely be where I’ll stay. Bonus point for being a great location if you’re solo traveling. I only have compliments to make on this place and would recommend it to anyone! There is honestly nothing I disliked. The staff was so kind that any possible issue was fixed in no time.

Adèle (9/5): Relaxing stay in a beautiful natural environment and fantastic restaurant - The room was excellent and very clean, with a comfortable bed that made our stay very pleasant. The setting is truly ideal and magical, surrounded by nature with the relaxing sound of water and wildlife all around. On clear nights, the sky is full of stars, which made the experience even more special. The biggest highlight is the restaurant on site, which is excellent and extremely convenient. You can have breakfast there, get a packed lunch for hiking, and enjoy dinner in the evening — and we loved every meal we had there. We had a wonderful stay and would happily come back. Everything was perfect.
