Guest Reviews
- Wulfe (2/5): Dr. WulfeX34 - The View was nice 👍🏾. The blankets had cig burns
Management is racist against Afrikan Americans.
Bleach stain on floor.
No personal bathroom.
- Lyu (1/5): So dirty and smelly. - no The hygiene was extremely poor. There wasn't a single clean spot. There were empty drink bottles under the bed left by previous guests. As soon as you entered, there was a very pungent smell. The quilt was filled with the stench of sweat and feet. It was really too late when we arrived that day. There were no other available hotels nearby, otherwise we would have changed to another one immediately. The next day, both I and my luggage smelled extremely bad. It was run by an Indian family.I slept with my friends on the bed covered with my own clothes. I didn't sleep well all night. It was so stinky, so stinky, completely the smell of the sewer, the toilet and smelly feet. It was so dirty, so dirty.
- Celene (1/5): I would never book here again, no parking and you have to pay extra for a room with a bathroom inside - Nothing Three was a roach in our room an the room was very loud from the bar next door
- Daniel (5/5): -
- Patricia (9/5): Tranquila - La ubicaciĂłn muy cerca del metro, el personal muy amable y siempre atento a ayudar. El lugar es sencillo y apesar que las cercanĂas hay bares, se logro descansar bien. Nada
- Zegarra Tancara (7/5): buena - recepcion .
- Mr Bishop (10/5): -
- Sic (1/5): Bad - Very dirty Everything has hair on it
- Thomas (1/5): Worst hotel this decade - Nothing The extremely bad smell, price, condition of everything, chipping paint, dirty floor, broken door knobs, bugs, destroyed bed sheets, lack of AC. I didn't even actually sleep here, I just immediately left after seeing the room.

- Ruth (5/5): Passable - The staff came in to clean our room while we were gone even though we told the front desk to not have anyone come in. For the peace of mind to keep our belongings safe.

- T5674LYderekw (6/5): normal - Absolutely stunning place! Clean, safe, and great place to spend the night. Pricey? It's all relevant on whom we ask but for me worth every penny.
Breakfast was delicious super

- Yvette (10/5): Exceptional -
- Suresh (1/5): very bad experience - nothing Not a professional stay and not good, too much smell & not hygiene and price is very high & no elevator to take big luggage. If needed to stay call and get photos of the hotel then take decision.
- Vanessa (10/5): From staying on the streets to staying at the west inn me and my family were Abel to stay. - I always feel at home when I stay at the west inn the manager is a very nice and understanding person. I’m glad it’s still good successful people in the world! And the housekeeper are nice hard working people who always make sure that you everything you need with no problems. Absolutely Nothing !!
I hated I couldn’t stay longer With my family.
- Noel (7/5): We enjoyed our stay at this Value hotel. - Location is great very close to Hollywood Boulevard and close to shops and restaurants. Hotel is old, no microwave and water heater for coffee or tea. Refrigerator is not working well.
- Aaron (9/5): This stay was as always a great time. - The front desk guy is always polite. Explains check out and few other rules. Great guy. I didn’t realize that. Got a room with my own bathroom and that was kewl. Nothing I really didn’t like.
- Bonita (1/5): Bad -
- Irfan (1/5): Sorry but I don’t accept your apologies. This has been a serious safety and health issue. The other night my wife heard - DISASTER EXPERIENCE - BOOKING COM IS A FRAUD . HOW CAN YOU ONBOARD SUCH A PLACE THAT STINKS LIKE URINE AND WHERE PEOPLE BREAK IN DISASTER EXPERIENCE - BOOKING COM IS A FRAUD . HOW CAN YOU ONBOARD SUCH A PLACE THAT STINKS LIKE URINE AND WHERE PEOPLE BREAK I
- Corrine (2/5): Not the pace for R and R - I was confident the towel was clean! but low bar isnt it. I could lock my door and felt safe another low bar though. The staff were not there on arrival but not too far away and were polite and hospitable. The room stank of weed. I must have been high when I left the next day after sleeping in there. There was cigarette burns on the bed covers. It was a made bed and I expect clean but I did not feel comfortable to get in the covers and was expecting bugs to craw over me or something. The bathroom was better but not by much.
- Anonymous (1/5): Please don’t stay here - Don’t stay here is the worst place the smell bad a lot noise at night. You have park on the street a homeless broke into my car .there’s roaches the bathroom was dirty and scary the carpet is dark of the dirtiness Wall are dirty please pay more for better hotel
- Eduardo (1/5): Worst pace ever - Nothing, was horrible the experience Dirty, roaches, fights in the hall, looks dangerous
- Ignacio (4/5): Disappointing - The floors were dirty and the TV inside the room didn't even work. Also the A/C unit was very strong as the room felt completely stuffed up and extremely warm
- Kshitij (1/5): Bad - Check-in denied.
- Ekaterina (3/5): Poor - location was good very stinky, smell so bad not possible do nothing , all my clothes and hair had a disgusting smell then
- William (9/5): Superb -
- 984kaileyp (2/5): Do not recommend - A ton of steep steps to climb with luggage straight off the min street to get to the check in window along with the hallways of rooms/ bathrooms. You had the cheaper option of choosing a room that had a shared bathroom... awkward. Anyway so I get there and the man barely spoke English and my reservation and confirmation number did not come up in his computer. He then tried to up-charge me for a single night at the price of 2 without a reservation on top of everything else! I ended up making him charge me the same amount I would have paid for 2 nights with the reservation because of the inconvenience. When we finally got to our “private” room, it was very small, dirty, plain and outdated on so many levels. The only good thing about this hotel/location is the tv and that it’s a 5 min walk to Hollywood Blvd.
- miketheexploer (6/5): Be warned if staying at the weekends this place is above a nightclub! - I only stayed here for 1 night, a quick layover in LA and it was OK the location was the best thing about the place, the room was actually better than I expected, with a lovely big TV, but the bathroom was a bit dated. I literally just wanted the room to sleep in before going out early the next day. Something I was only warned about when checking in however, was the fact the hotel is directly above a busy bar and as it was Saturday night, I was kept awake until 1am by loud music, so be warned if you need a good nights sleep at the weekend, I would avoid this place.
- denzdm (6/5): Just an expensive motel - Location: Just 0.4 miles from the Hollywood walk of fame, this is not a hotel but a motel.
Accessibility: There is a steep staircase which you need to climb to get to your rooms. So, if you are lugging heavy bags, it will be a tough task.
Room: Very basic with a bed, air conditioner and a small window for ventilation.
Bathroom: A commode and bathtub with sliding doors. Maintained clean.
There is paid parking during the day on the road. Night parking was free.
Though we read some reviews about noise at late night due to the presence of a pub close-by, we didn't feel disturbed, Overall, the stay was comfortable but the tariff is very expensive for the quality of the stay.
- Vasuba (8/5): Nice budget hotel - This is not a hotel, it is more like a motel. Budget hotel. The best thing is the location. Right in downtown. Universal studios is just 15 to 20 mins away. Walk to fame just few steps away. Dont expect much from this hotel except for location. They allow you to place your luggage if you were to check out and roam around in the city for few hours.
