• James (9/5): Always wildlife to see, sometimes right at your front door and great hiking trails. - Wildlife all around and the Park settings gave us a great experience all around. There was a true lack of places to purchase food and supplies. If people are going to stay here, they need to think about bringing any food they need for their stay. The motel section has a good kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals, you just need to have your own food to cook, unless you can live on ramen and spaghetti.

• Tracy (10/5): Abundant wildlife at your doorstep - The wildlife was abundant and at your doorstep. It was exciting waking to up all the different animal noises. There were koalas in the trees and kangaroos hopping all around. It was an open air zoo! Accommodations were very clean and comfortable. Location next to Flinders Chase National Park was excellent and a 2 minute drive. Staff was very friendly. Bring your groceries from Kingscote or Penneshaw. Limited items at the commissary. Nothing

• Katja (10/5): Outback-feeling auf KI in wunderschönem und sehr sauberen Deluxe Bungalow - Wir hatten einen Deluxe- Bungalow gemietet und waren begeistert! Unsere Nr 12 war top sauber, sehr geräumig, die Küche war toll ausgestattet, eine sehr gute Klimaanlage, Screendoor und Screenfenster überall ( keinerlei Fliegen oder Ungeziefer), ein schönes und neues/ modernes Bad, ebenso das Schlafzimmer mit Boxspringbett und eine Wohncouch mit Esstisch im Küchenbereich. 2 Räume mit süsser Porch / Versnda für den Ersten Kaffee. Ein perfekter Ort auf KI mit authentischem ‚australischer Outback-Feeling ‘ wegendervLage und Natur rundherum. Ruhige Gäste und liebe Kinder. Ein Highlight zudem das super nette Managerehepaar , das den Check-In schnell und extrem freundlich gedtaltete und viele Tipps parat hatte . Alles Vorort im Resort zu kaufen. Ein eigenes Auto ist Muss, da kein Shuttleservice oder B7s dorthin fährt. Attraktionen in der Nähe. Vorort gibt ex ein angeschlossenes Motel und einen Campingplatz. Die Bungalows mit eigenem Parkplatz neben der Veranda sind toll. Alles hervorragend/ traumhaft gewesen, wären gerne noch länger geblieben,

• Sue (8/5): It was nice & clean and close to the attractions we were visiting. - It was close to the flinders chase national park where we were visiting trails etc The motel section where we stayed was very noisy and not at all private. It wasn’t anyone’s fault. We just encountered a noisy bunch of guests. My advice to other travellers would be to book early so there is a choice of rooms as we took the last room available and we were grateful. We booked 4 months in advance

• Marta (10/5): - Pokój z łazienką jak i kuchnia bardzo czyste, w kuchni dostępne wszystko do przyrządzenia posiłków. Bardzo cicho i spokojnie. Po obiekcie kręcą się kangury, walabie, gęsi, na drzewach można zauważyć koale :) Na miejscu dostępny sklepik, stacja benzynowa.

The camp kitchen facilities were good apart from the BBQ hot plate where only I burner of the 4 available working. Some fittings in cabin in need of replacement.

• Way2Groovy (10/5): - This was hands down one of the most memorable and positive stays we could have imagined. Our cottage had everything we needed for a multi-night stay, and the front porch was a favorite spot—comfortable seating and nonstop wildlife. We saw kangaroos, wallabies, galahs, echidnas, koalas, magpies… and more. Just incredible. We truly loved the whole experience, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed from start to finish. Highly, highly recommend staying here. Important tip: Stop at the grocery store when you arrive in Penneshaw and grab everything you’ll need for your stay. There are a few basics at the office, but if you get in after hours, there’s really nothing nearby for food—so plan ahead!
• Simboba (6/5): Good place, bad shower - The staff were nice, close to Flinders National Park, a fuel station, and a convenience store in the park. The kitchen is well-equipped, the room size was good, and you have AC and a fan. The bed is nice The cleanliness level was ok found some hairs on the floor, bed, and wall, and dead bugs. The main problem was the shower. The bathroom is renovated, but the water pressure was very weak, and the water temperature kept changing from hot (not warm) to cold. In addition. There isn't a glass screen, so the floor outside the shower get wet easily.

Uncomfortable bed, called s “motel” room - has no fridge, jug or any facilities! There is a communal kitchen, which was in use when we were there.

• Miriam (9/5): Tolle Unterkunft in der Natur, ideal im Koalas und Kängurus zu sehen - Die Unterkunft liegt kurz vor dem Nationalpark Flinders Chase. Wir haben dort Kängurus aber auch Koalas sehen können. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Unterkunft fügt sich schön in die Natur ein. Gut ausgestattete Gemeinschaftsküche, die Cabins sind sehr sauber. Wir wären gerne länger als eine Nacht geblieben.

She took us outside to show us a resident koala in a tree close by and was happy to tell us all we needed to know. The room was very clean and met expectations, and the wildlife was incredible. The location was fantastic for the Remarkable Rocks, wildlife, Kelly’s caves, Admirals Arch and other experiences.

• Marie-Claude (10/5): Paradis animalier - Nous avons eu le plaisir d'être surclassé par le gérant dans un chalet tout équipé sans frais. La propreté, la tranquillité, le confort, la commodité de l'équipement. La présence des animaux sur place : kangourou, koala, opossum et plusieurs oiseaux. La personne (francophone) à la réception nous a donné plusieurs conseils avec un beau sourire. Je conseille vivement. La seule chose était que la superette offrait des produits dont le prix n'est pas affiché ( avons vu cela dans d'autres commerces ?)

Sehr nette Betreiber, Cabin hat alles was man braucht, kleiner Laden mit den nötigsten Sachen ist auch vorhanden. Für die Kinder war auch der Spielplatz toll. Jo

• Roberta (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay at this hotel on Kangaroo Island, set in a beautiful natural park full of wildlife. We saw many animals around the property, including koalas and kangaroos, which made the experience really special. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the facilities were great, especially the well-equipped kitchen. Overall, a super positive experience — highly recommended!
