Absolutely great to have such a fantastic place next door for a drink and lovely dinner. A minor point, but better lighting in the bathroom would have been helpful.

We ate the home cooked specials in the pub and enjoyed the very well kept beers.
The location was beautiful and perfect for exploring the local pre-history. Our host was helpful- and humorous and there were was nothing to complain about.

- Tom (9/5): Superb - The stable location is very welcoming and has lots of character, nice garden. Accomodation very comfortable and clean. Bathroom is functional but dated
- John (7/5): Good -
- Peter (9/5): Adjoing Inn with great food - The host was attentive and flexible, despite being very busy in the adjoining inn. The accommodation is comfortable and spotlessly clean and designed for self-catering, but we dined in the pub and had breakfast at the Kilmartin museum. We could only stay one night.
- Otto (9/5): Well equipped and comfortable apartment - Spacious and clean apartment. Well equipped, feels like a liveable home. Very hospitable staff. Comfortable bed. The radiator shut off during the night so it was a bit chilly in the morning when we woke up. Was not a problem after getting dressed, but made getting up from the warm bed harder.
- Patricia (9/5): Superb - Cosy cottage. Comfortable bed.
Lovely to see the birds just outside.
Good kitchen facilities with washing machine and clothes horse. Pub adjacent. N/A

- Margaret (10/5): Enjoyed our stay - Great communication, check in as advised. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge area. Cosy rustic cottage. The location was great for us to visit the Kilmartin standing stones. A shame the pub was not open for meals while we were there, and that it's a bit of a drive to Lochgilphead for supplies. Not much room in the bedroom for luggage.
- Warren (10/5): Very good - Nice a quite and relaxing Nothing
- Alaine (9/5): Superb -

- Robert (9/5): Charming home in a beautiful and quiet part of Bonnie Scotland. - Well appointed residence next to the excellent pub where inspired cooking makes for a lovely evening in good company. It did rain a bit but it is Scotland.
- Gerry (8/5): I felt comfortable as soon as I had my first walk through of the cottage. Very impressed. - From the moment I opened the door, I was impressed with the standard of furniture fittings and decor. The kitchen/living/dining area was well designed and compact with everything you needed readily to hand. I would have to be very very picky to find something that I didn't like.
- Julia (9/5): Really relaxing. Great food in the restaurant. Staff were superb. Owner Paul very welcoming and friendly. - Everything Lightbulb out by the mirror but that’s obviously a tiny thing but I meant to mention it to Paul. Having had holiday flats myself I know it’s difficult to check everything in an apartment
- Mike (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anthony (9/5): Superb - Excellent accommodation in every way. Lack of personal contact with owners.
- Val (10/5): A lovely comfortable stay and a great base to explore the historic Kilmartin area. - The Stable was light and bright, well decorated with a fully equipped kitchen. The bed is very comfortable. The view out on to the garden is lovely. Also ate at the Horseshoe- tasty food and good service. All was great

- Eliot (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hilary (9/5): Cosy cottage ideal for visiting the Crinan Canal. Pub next door! -
- Charlotte (10/5): Perfect for a quiet getaway - Our stay at The Horseshoe was perfect. A lovely space with everything that we needed. Check in was quick and easy. As it's attached to the pub, we were worried that it would be noisy - in fact, it was quite the reverse! It felt very private and quiet.
The food in the pub was excellent. There was nothing that we didn't like!
- Claire (10/5): Will 100% book again. - A beautiful little annex, well equipped, immaculate in a pretty village - perfect. Very helpful staff and the food at the pub was lovely. Nothing
- Harvey (7/5): Necessary stopover in average accommodation. - Good location as part of journey, nice view from room. Small room, slightly tired, expensive evening meal and small portions.
- Leanne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mandy (10/5): We loved the lodge and had a superb meal and drinks in the Horseshoe Inn,definitely value for money - Lovely lodge, well equipped and ideal location Nothing
- Andy (9/5): As friendly as you can ask - Great base for walking with dogs, Crinan canal 5 minutes away as well as plenty of stone circle sites and other historical locations. Food at Horseshoe Inn was best I have tasted in a long time and good value too. Paul was a great host taking time to ensure your stay was enjoyable and all other staff very friendly. The stables was clean and basic enough with all you need for a comfortable stay if you are doing self catering. Not much really but possibly they could update TV so you can mirror any devices or USB plug in.
- Jayne (7/5): Just right for a short stay, great location with lots to do nearby. - Location was perfect. Some ants in the kitchen.
- Chris (8/5): Great as a base for travellers - I have stayed at the Horseshoe previously and must admit it took me by surprise that there is only the barn conversion offered now. Had I read the instructions properly I would have know that and been more prepared.
Its a great idea the way it is and having a fully functional kitchen so that you can do your own thing, would work for most.
Evening meals are still offered and the ones I had were tasty and plentiful
For business travellers that need a quick start to the day it means getting breakfast on the move The heating is controlled from the Pub and although the radiators were on and hot, the space was cold. The Barn is a big space and even with the additional radiator provided it was cold. The decoration was great and there are some wonderful skylight windows but that added to the feeling of being cold.
Not sure it helped having rained for 3 days straight either.
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional - The cottage was perfect for my needs, the kitchen had everything necessary for cooking. Bedroom was very comfortable and the extra heater was a nice touch. Great location for getting around Kilmartin Glen and Lochgilphead. The only improvement I would suggest is the wifi - it worked well in the kitchen and living room but did not reach the bedroom. As I had no mobile signal in the area I was relying on the wifi.
- Donald (9/5): Thouroughly enjoyed our stay at The Horseshoe . Lovely location in a beautiful area. Unfortunately we didn’t get the cha - Lovely, comfortable wee cottage, nicely furnished and tastefully decorated. Well equipped with all you need for your stay. Couldn’t actually say there was anything we didn’t like about the property.
.
- Margaret (9/5): Lovely place ,everything you need and fantastic value - Really nice little place, quiet location and very well equipped kitchen, plenty towels and nice and clean would / will return .Great to have a dining table ,friendly owner,we had a lovely stay Nothing to complain about at all however a suggestion- saucepan lids would be a good addition as we were self catering and 2 were missing so lots of steam generated.
- Lindsay (8/5): It’s a great wee space to call home with a very fine foodie pub next door! - A cosy and stylish stables conversion which suited us perfectly for a short stay in this lovely part of Scotland.
Paul was a warm and welcoming host and the fact that we could eat at his inn next door was an excellent bonus!
- Lynn (10/5): Really comfortable and welcoming. - Breakfast was made in the overnight stay by ourselves as its late season we didn't get to sample the homemade food. A smoke alarm beeping needed a battery replaced alough this was resolved quickly.
Not as warm as expected and although we had an extra electric heater the air still felt cold. Though I must say we have had extremely low temperatures in this area at this time of year.
- Murdoch (9/5): Lovely place - Absolutely perfect, warm welcome, everything you need, lovely towels and great heating, would definitely recommend and will use again.
- Bramble (10/5): loved it - Great place
Lovely conversion, lots of nice features
Just what we needed and wanted
Would quite happily buy it as a wee house
Will use in the future wife was with me and the dog (bramble)
- Alan (8/5): Well equipped cottage, ample space for two and quite secluded but with easy access to the hotel. - Great location and proximity to hotel. Very friendly host and staff. Central heating was switched off 2nd night, but not an issue as there was a heater available for use.
