• silvia (10/5): - Meraviglioso! Veramente una bella sorpresa! Abbiamo dormito negli appartamenti al pianterreno. La stanza è grande per starci bene in 4, bagno grande e funzionale, cucina in muratura ben attrezzata. La posizione è fantastica perché proprio alla fine di Papadiamanti, la via pedonale di Skiathos città, così si ha tutto a disposizione dalla pasticceria x la colazione ai supermarket e i noleggi auto. Marietta si è rivelava una host meravigliosa, disponibilissima e molto accogliente, sembrava veramente di essere a casa! Decisamente una soluzione da consigliare e senza dubbio dovessi tornare a Skiathos tornerei qua! Niente, tutto perfetto!

• Ilona (9/5): Csodás! - A szállás jól megközelíthető, közel van a kikötőhöz, a standhoz, buszmegállóhoz a sétáló utca végén található. A házigazda hölgy nagyon kedves, közvetlen, segítőkész, felhívott minket, hogy hamarabb is átvehetjük a szobánkat. Tisztaság mindenhol, minden nap takarítanak, ha szükséges a törölközőt cserélik. A közelben élelmiszebolt, pékség található.

• Christopher (8/5): Ideal for our only night on Skitahos before catching the morning ferry to the mainland.. - the location was an easy 20 minute walk from the town centre and harbour, so it was nice and quiet, and a short walk from a big beach. a couple of nearby shops, cafes and a bakery were just what we wanted., the balcony is shared with others (not a big problem!)
• Günter (10/5): Polykratis Rooms - Einfaches, aber sauberes Appartement. Günstig gelegen, 500m bis zum Hafen und 500m bis zum Strand. Die Inhaberin und das Servicepersonal waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt und es gab jeden Tag frische Handtücher. Jederzeit gerne wieder.
• Andrea (10/5): Exceptional - Easy to find and very central at the end of the main street. The balcony was much bigger than expected and there is a large shared space at ground level too. Marietta was very friendly and accommodating and let us leave our luggage and use our room till our flight time. It's nice to have a real person on site and not just a key box. Good bakery just opposite for coffee and snacks. Kitchen area looked well equipped though we didn't use it as we were only there for one night. There is no pricacy on the balconies for a longer stay and your neighbours cigarette smoke drifts into your room.

Excellent location, next to the "theatre in the park", bus to beaches, patisserie...and much more. A/c worked very well, and could be set to low and silent. Nice good sized balcony.... all excellent. Location a bit noisy at night due to loud mopeds (a classic...), but with the windows closed and the fan on at night it did not bother us (and I am a fussy, light sleeper).

The balcony was big and nice. There was some noise when people returned to their rooms in the middle of the night, but generally it was fine. There was some noise coming from the main street.

Huge sofa (bed) that we didn’t use. Nice little patio outside with bistro table and chairs. Such a warm welcome too. Excellent location to explore Skiathos Town and walk to the port. €15 in taxi from the airport. Would highly recommend and we hope to stay again some time. Nothing

• Iva (9/5): Superb - The location is great, right next to the pedestrian street of the city and 5 min. away from the bus stop. It's pretty clean, the host was kind. The room that we booked was basic inside, but if you are not looking for something more special, it's fine. The terrasse is large enough. It's on a central place, so it's noisy indeed- when scooters or loud companies are passing by. Also if you plan to work or do more some stuffs in i-net - have in mind that the connection is weak.

• Stewart (10/5): Amazing stay - The host was so lovely and attentive, she gave us recommendations for what to do and how to get around, and even called us the day before to check the time of arrival. The property itself was lovely - very clean and spacious with a balcony to ourselves. There was also a fridge and hob in the room, giving us the option to make food if we wanted to. Perfect location as well with a short walk to the town, a selection of beaches close by, and just a short walk to the bus stop - just perfect! Nothing!

• Philip (10/5): Thoroughly recommend the Polykratis Apartments - The apartment was excellent - clean, comfortable and very well equipped with air conditioning and a large balcony. The location is brilliant, close to all the restaurants, shops, the harbour and buses to the beaches. Marietta, the owner, is very attentive, helpful and a lovely person who seems to go the extra mile for her guests. I would definitely stay at Polykratis again if I return to Skiathos - which is a beautiful island.

• JOANNA (10/5): - The room is big. We are booking a big room with 2 twins beds. The unit has washer machine and clothes drying rack outside of the room. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Everything is walking distance. There's only 1 strip down to the port and beach.
• Wope (10/5): Everything together was simply optimal. - The location is excellent, at the top of the main street Papadiamantis in a quiet location. The room is more of a spacious apartment with a nice balcony and useful kitchen equipment. The reception by the owner was like meeting friends. It was wonderful to meet her. We didn't notice any disadvantages at all.

The owner met me when I arrived and showed me to my room. She was lovely and offered cook me a meal in her resturant and bring it up to me as I was stressed after having my purse stolen in Athens. The location is great, at the top end of the main street with a bakery over the road and shops and eateries all the way down to the port. I would have no hesitation staying there again. Nothing

• Felitia (10/5): Great stay! Truly recommend it!! - When we arrived we had a very pleasant greeting by the owner. She made us feel really welcome. We got a very clean spacious room, high ceiling and de bathroom was great! Also the bed is very comfortable, not too hard and not too soft. Outside you got chairs and a table so you can enjoy sitting outside and if you’re luckily you get welcomed by a super sweet cat, who I called Fred haha. The hotel is very close to the busy shopping/restaurants street but because of the nice front yard with trees and flowers you still have your privacy. The hotel has a restaurant on the corner. Really great food, loved the cheese saganaki!! If you like cheese, certainly try this one!! And really good Greek stifado, my boyfriend loved it! And we always had a cappuccino and Irish coffee at the end. Even if we went out, we always came for our coffee and chat with the owners. Can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

We were happy with everything. There’s stairs up to the room with no lift so if you have mobility issues it might not be for you,

• Ess (10/5): A great stay in Skiathos Town - We had a lovely stay. The very friendly owner allowed us to check in a few hours early ( for free! ) and was very helpful. We had some very soggy clothes following a storm and she brought us some washing liquid and took us into the unoccupied studio next door and told us we could use the washing machine that was in it. We were very grateful. Our studio ( number 2 ) had an extremely comfortable bed, fantastic shower ( with 2 jets as well as the usual 2 shower heads ) and was well equipped. The location is great, step outside and there's a bakery, cross the road and it's the start of the main shopping and eating area. Thank you for a great stay - we'll definitely be back! Nothing - it was great

The owners were very friendly and helpful. Our departure time was late afternoon and the owners let us stay in our accommodation, as no other guests were arriving that day. We would definitely recommend the Polykratis Rooms to family and friends and would stay there again!

The host is absolutely amazing (and a hard worker :)). We only had a minor issue where the new towels were forgotten and it was dealt with immediately. Our arrival time was very early and we were lucky that one of the rooms was ready to check-in, no issues. We would come back to stay here any time! Nothing

Rooms were cleaned daily. Wash & dry in some rooms and also some kitchen. Drive to airport - free! Great location! Would highly recommend. Lastly next door is the Taverna Polykratis Taverna. You won’t find better Greek good. Bonus the little bread/coffee place across the street!
