• peter (4/5): It felt like we were staying in a hostel and I would not say it was worth the £120 we paid - The location to the beach and views Site was small with to many caravans and not enough parking. Staff were polite on check in however the bar staff were more interested in talking with the large number of children sat at the bar, and when I went to order food it was like I was invisible, so ended up leaving and going to the chippy down the road. Also I booked the sea view room but was unable to have the windows open due to the guest in the next room smoking out the window, this in turn meant the smoke was coming into my room. Also the corridor stunk of smoke when we came back from having lunch out. On check out the reception was unmanned so was unable to let them know this

• Karl (10/5): Perfect. We booked a week in a caravan on the basis of this stay. - The most friendly staff members have encountered for a very little long time. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them. It was a real pleasure to stay there .

• Svitlana (7/5): Pleasant and relaxing, except the sleepless night - Location, views were amazing There was no air in the room. We could not sleep (family of 4 with 2 children). Carpets and floor in the bathroom were not very clean.

Great beach walks and a Chinese restaurant that was five minutes walk away. The site shop has a good supply of basic items and the staff are very helpful. Great breakfast included in the price! N/A

• Emma (10/5): Absolutely fabulous! We will return - The location was absolutely beautiful. Staff were super friendly and the room had the most amazing views! The breakfast this morning was amazing too! Thank you I had to leave this morning to go to work
• Amy (10/5): - Property has an incredible view of the sea and takes just 1 minute to get down to a lovely quiet beach. Staff were really friendly. Bed was very comfy and shower worked really well. Water bottles and biscuits were dropped off each day outside our door. The breakfast included in the price of the room was really nice.

Good breakfast Staff friendly and helpful Good base for visiting other places No net curtains on windows, so had to shut main curtains for privacy during the day hence changing, etc. South facing bedroom got very hot and fan would have been useful (obviously this year has been exceptionally warm, so was perhaps understandable)

• Sue (8/5): Had a lovely stay in the hotel and would go back to this venue -as its ideal for what we needed . - Location was great for where we wanted to visit ,theres a few local shops nearby in Bacton village but the site does stock essential items ,Meals on site were really good and all the staff very helpful and friendly -nothing was too much trouble The hotel /site is ideal for all ages groups and is very clean & tidy Lovely to be so close to a sandy beach -just walk down

The bedroom was quite small, there was not much room between the bed & the walls either side. We had breakfast included but it was not very good, mouldy bread, scrambled eggs which were not scrambled properly just a slab of beaten egg put on the plate & undercooked bacon.

Can’t wait to go back - This place is perfect , great value for money , location wise you can’t get much better it’s a stones throw from the beach , the staff are all amazing they make you feel like part of the family , nothing was too much , breakie was fab , already booked to go back in a few weeks , even the locals that drink there are all so welcoming That we had to go home 😢😢

And got exceptional service, the owner had gone out, and a member of the kitchen team sorted our booking out and gave us the keys to our room.She was very helpful. We put all our stuff in the room and then went down to the bar for something to eat and a few drinks. The barman was very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean and a great view of the sea

• Caroline (8/5): Very good - Lovely fire burning in the restaurant, which I did eat at, very nice food, The room was neat and tidy,nice desk and tub chair, bed was really comfy.Great sounds of the sea hitting the shore in the night,only in the morning realised how close it was! I arrived on a cold misty night, the room was stoney cold, I know heating is costly but it felt like it hadn't been heated for days, eventually got the heating to work but had to sit in my coat for awhile.
• Clive (3/5): Has to be one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. - The bed was comfortable. Bathroom stank like a sewer. Had dogs begging for food at my table while eating in the restaurant. Food was not great either. Will never stay there again
• Julie (8/5): A quiet couple of nights by the sea - As always the staff were lovely. Food was great and we love the location. A sea view is always a bonus and teas, coffee and biscuits in our room. The bed was comfy and the bedding was clean, plenty of towels too. It was so quiet all we could hear was the sea. I'd recommend and we will return. The pillows could do with updating, flat and not very comfortable. Some minor issues in terms of cleaning, dusty in some areas and surfaces needed a wipe.
• Julie (8/5): A lovely night away by the sea - The staff were lovely, very helpful and welcoming. The food was fantastic, both evening meal and breakfast and we loved the sea view from our room. The bar was well stocked too. All we could hear at night was the sea, so quiet, the bed was super comfy and lots of towels too. The heating in the room was easy to adjust. My dietary needs were accommodated with soya milk available - thank you! Would highly recommend, so much so we are returning. A bit of dusting in places was needed, the lights and surrounds were in need of a clean, minor issue only. The shower was difficult to adjust, so it needs some attention as the water was really hot (room 10)
