Guest Reviews
- Kathryn (10/5): Loved our stay at Lakeleigh . Everything was fabulous. Communication was easy. - The charcuterie platter from Winesoesk was a very nice welcome gift.
We booked Lakeleigh as a base for us to stay for our daughter’s Wedding. The home was a magnificent backdrop for our photos and preparations on the day as well as a relaxing space for us after the Wedding day. The beds were extremely comfortable. We loved everything !
- Rachelle (10/5): Amazing location, house and gardens !! - Views of the lake and the garden are amazing. Beautiful atrium dining room and lots of small touches. Comfortable beds and very clean. Close to all the local attractions. Has lovely views of the lake and you can access the track to walk around the lake . Parking accessible and easy.
Also the welcome box was wonderful and very thoughtful . It was cold while we were there so fireplace great . Could not have asked for more. I had to leave
- Chris Balnave (10/5): An unforgettable blend of luxury, tranquillity, and Daylesford charm at Lakeleigh - We all loved Lakleigh, it is absolutely stunning! We felt like had stepped into a story book. The location, the views, the facilities were all incredible. We will be back! 💗

- Melissa (10/5): Autumn at Lakeleight is so beautiful, now l will return for spring - It did not matter that we arrived during the wettest afternoon l have seen in years, the house is designed to have you so connected with nature, from inside you enjoy the magnificent views as easily as being outside. The position is so beautiful, removed from the busyness, but so close to walk everywhere. The views are breathtaking, the beds are comfortable, and the rooms beautiful. The shower pressure is amazing. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and enjoy being there Nothing !!!
In one review it said the property is hard to find. It is not. You drive up past the property and loop back in a service lane that tucks the houses back from the road and makes them all more private
- Leanne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chris (10/5): Absolutely loved the unique architecture of the beautiful home. The gardens are stunning. - The home is beautifully presented. It was in pristine condition and had all the ammenties required to make for an amazing stay. The only fault was that the back door could not be locked. This left us in the precarious position where we had to leave without securing the property.
- Anh (8/5): It was an enjoyable stay - It’s a lovely house that has back gate access to the lake which is probably the main selling point of the property.
Pros: modern looking house, 2 modern bathrooms and toilets which is great for a family, TV is in every room which is great for kids, towels and linen provided, good functioning kitchen.
Highlight: hot and cold drinking tap which is really handy on hot days. Cons: the property is located on a steep hill so lots of stairs in front and back of house. We had a bit of hiccup upon arrival with no proper instructions on accessing the property. Took us some time in the heavy rain to work out a side street access to be able to park in front of the property. Overgrown shrub that really needs a trim as it was covering most of the walking path and steps making it hard to manoeuvre around. Although the property was well presented upon arrival, it really need some proper cleaning and vacuuming. We were greeted with many dead flies, some cockroaches, a dirty oven and microwave.
- Feng (10/5): Stunning home in a stunning location. - Self-contained accommodation with absolute direct access to Lake from garden. In a nutshell, Lakeleigh is a classic, cosy, charming, country-style white weatherboard cottage in a magical setting. Nothing.
