Guest Reviews
- Flis (8/5): - The location was lovely and we loved the deck with the view of the kangaroos and trees.
The three comfy couches meant we could relax with a cuppa and chat into night.
Lots of bowls and platters to present delicious meals on was a plus too!
Thanks for a lovely weekend! There were no desert spoons just soup spoons!
The dishwasher needed a good clean to work - filter was clogged.
The stove top was dirty on arrival but we just cleaned it.
- Steph (10/5): -
- Deidre (9/5): -
- Annette (9/5): very relaxing, would stay again - lovely forest stay the sinks needed a good clean instead of a wipe over (a bit of grime build up - nothing an old toothbrush with Jif would fix in a jiffy if they can't use bleach)
- Barbara (10/5): Beautiful forest location with all the components for a great weekend stay. - bottle of wine and chocolate treats were lovely, the visit from the kangaroos on the first evening was lovely, comfortable and adequate lounge seating, stunning location with gorgeous outlook
- Phillip (9/5): Superb -
- Montgomery (6/5): Pleasant - The grounds were nice and well maintained. Kangaroos come into the garden. I generally don't leave reviews, though for over $500 a night I expected a bit better.
The barbeque was covered in mould and pans still had bits of cooked eggs in them.
There was no coffee provided, it would have been good to know as we would have brought some with us. Also no garbage bags or dishwasher tablets.
It's not particularly private, there is a smaller holiday let (Ablac Studio) on the property that is about 10m from this one.
All the beds were double size, it was fine, though a bit cramped for two adults and not particularly comfortable. Also the bedding felt like a plastic bag.
For the fireplace, there were about 5 pieces of wood inside, the rest is not well covered and it was difficult to find any that was dry enough to burn (as it was raining on our trip). For one night would have been okay, though as we were there for more than that we had to buy our own. Also there was only enough kindling for one night.
Also the TV was very small, from the only couch that faces it it's a bit of a distance.
- Lisa (10/5): A beautiful, comfortable bushland retreat - It is a lovely house in a peaceful bushland setting. The full sized kitchen is very well equipped. The house has a good outdoor area with a deck, outdoor table, BBQ and even a pizza oven. The indoor fire warmed the house and there was plenty of dry cut firewood (the house also has split system air con and other heating). The house is beautifully decorated and was the perfect size for a family holiday that included two adult children.
