- Raymond (10/5): - Cleanliness of the room, staff at breakfast lovely. Ideal location, within very easy reach of bus stops and to other parts of the island, accessible to St Peter Port. A very comfortable small hotel (now designated a guest house), warm and friendly and with a lovely homely feel. Very well run by a hard working lovely lady, Celeste.

- Robert (6/5): Two stars - This was sold to us on the Hotel website as 3 star but it was 2 star. The room itself was comfortable except that it was always very warm, and the shower over the bath was impossible to stabilise. The breakfasts were the low point. The one person we saw daily was trying hard and helpful.

- Stephen (10/5): - Very nicely located hotel in a quiet area and in walking distance to the centre of St Peter Port - an advantage when the local buses were diverted due to roadworks! Normally just off the main bus route from the Airport into St Peter Port so easy to get to. Pleasant staff and a good selection of breakfast options. Ignore the bit on your Expedia confirmation concerning contacting them in advance for check in details though as this is not required!

- Verified traveler (10/5): Home from Home - We had a lovely weeks holiday based at La Michele Hotel. We had a warm welcome from Celeste on arrival and soon settled into our spacious room, with plenty of storage for our luggage, overlooking the back of the property. Breakfasts were always freshly cooked and tasty. The gardens and flower pots at the hotel are beautiful and there is plenty of outdoor seating. On the two occasions I used the pool it was clean and a beautiful relaxing setting. It is a great location from which to explore the island both on foot and by car. It is useful to buy a Guernsey parking meter from the local garage at St Martins if you want to park in St Peter Port. Thank you Celeste for a lovely stay.

But this does give you the opportunity to discover other delicious delights that Guernsey has to offer. And La Michele offers a full stocked bar area. The Owner, Celeste, is available to offer advise, attractions & suggestions to cater for all your needs. Will certainly return.

- Cesare (10/5): - The hotel is lovely, a little bit out of the city center on a quiet hill. The personnel is gentle and available. Space for improvement is to place thicker curtains or blinders for sun rising protection in the early morning.

- Malcolm (10/5): A wonderful few days away - A very deceptive hotel. From the outside it looks like a bungalow, don't be deceived, it is huge, 15 bedrooms, lounge, dining room, bar and saloon. The host Celeste is really super and nothing is too much trouble. Would I go back, definately, you couldnt ask for better.

We were disappointed in the amenities in the room and bathroom - the towels were very clean but all the edges of the towels and bath mat were frayed! We had 1 small shower/bath gel and 1small shampoo bottle which was for 2 of us! The car parking was difficult at times. Getting out of the hotel road onto the main road was very difficult and we were surprised no one had ever commented on this.

- Janice (10/5): - Just stayed at Hotel La Michele for 10 days and was very happy with every aspect of my time there. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable. My room was on the ground floor and had access directly onto the beautiful garden which was a bonus. There is also a swimming pool but I wasn't brave enough to try it out with it being September. I enjoyed a cooked breakfast every morning from their extensive breakfast menu and I had an evening meal three times during my stay, all very good and tasty. Celeste and Dino work very hard to make their hotel a success and to ensure their guests are comfortable. I would definitely stay again if I return to Guernsey.
- Geoff (10/5): La Michele - Dino and Celeste made us very welcome. Our whole stay was very enjoyable, from the easy booking in to the excellent food. Our hosts could not have been more helpful when our travel plans were altered by a ferry cancellation- they made our room available for an extra night and also booked a restaurant for us when we arrived late on our first night. We would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to explore the island or just wanting a peaceful break.
