Its location is beautiful, the rooms are gorgeous, and the breakfast is amazing. Beyond that, Sue and Avril are most welcoming and one basically feels like being at home. Thank you, we will be back!

The location is beautiful, as it is right in front of a lake, and the rooms are perfect—clean and carefully maintained in every aspect. The two guest house hosts were incredibly helpful and kind. • Lucy (10/5): Idyllic stay at Thistle House - We love Thistle House so much we had to visit again following our first stay last spring! Our hosts were so welcoming and friendly making us feel right at home and very comfortable. The room was beautifully furnished with a super comfy bed and lovely hot shower. The views from our room of the surrounding scenery was stunning. Looking out beyond the loch was an idyllic sight indeed. And of course, the breakfast was delicious, especially the scrambled eggs 🍳!

• John (10/5): Welcoming, friendly, kind, respectful, and warm - done with care and attention to detail!! - The owners were amazing, from the moment we stepped onto their property until we left it, their welcome and sending off was both warm and kind. They treated us like they knew us, they were so kind and hospitable, nothing was a problem. Spare fridge with fresh milk and water and available to put your own stuff in it. Everything they did and said was from the heart! 5 stars to them, 10 out of 10 - so so friendly and interested in you the guest, but not over the top- our privacy and boundaries were respected!! Nothing! Everything was brilliant- breakfast was the highest quality!

• Sabina Belen (10/5): Amazing stay on Loch Fyne - We love absolutely everything! Breakfast had many options and was delicious. They also offer Vegan alternatives! The recommendations to have dinner nearby were great! The building and rooms are authentically decorated and there is plenty of space to chill with your friends and family in front of the fire after a nice day. The rooms are spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The shower had good pressure and the room was comfortable and warm on a chilly evening. The hosts, Sue and Avril were fantastic. They are beyond any expectations and made us feel welcome, with love and care for the little details and outstanding customer service. We will definitely come back! The location is perfect if you are looking for nice views and quiet surroundings. Nothing

• Edward (10/5): Excellent guesthouse not to be missed! - The B&B was a beautiful building with an impressive view of the loch. The room was lovely. The owner kindly got us a Chinese takeaway from a nearby town as the pub we were going go to (as recommended by the owner) sadly was closed to walking as there was a wake. Bicycles were securely packed away in the owners garage. Breakfast was excellent. I had a full Scottish and my wife Jo salmon. The shaver socket did not work (in the bathroom) and a socket in the dining room for charging my iPhone. However easily remedied by using other sockets.

• Nancy (10/5): Lovely Stay near Inveraray - Extremely lovely stay at Thistle House. Sue and Avril were so kind and helpful with restaurant recommendations. My husband and I enjoyed the view from our room, as well as the beautiful common room downstairs—a coal fire in this room was so nice in the wet weather. We enjoyed meeting the other guests in this area, and it was a quiet space for us to play scrabble. Numerous choices were available for breakfast and the food prepared was delicious. We’d highly recommend Thistle House. Nothing bad to comment about.

Extrem freundliche Eigentümerinnen. Begrüßung mit Tee und Gebäck im Salon. Ein besseres Vorbild für schottische Gastfreundschaft kann man nicht geben! Wir haben uns selten in einer Unterkunft so zu Hause gefühlt, wie hier. Vom Haus hat meinen einen herrlichen Blick auf Loch Fyne. Nichts.

• catherinewC9583BX (10/5): Amazing stay-loved everything about Thistle House - Visited for a 1 night stay as part of our honeymoon on our way to Loch Awe. We were overwhelmed with Thistle House.. not only is it absolutely spotlessly clean, the rooms and decor are stunning 😍 and the views across Loch Fyne are breathtaking. We were welcomed by the lovely Avril with tea/coffee and fresh cake/shortbread which we enjoyed overlooking Loch Fyne. We were also given a wedding congratulations card which was a lovely touch 🤗 Wonderfully quiet and peaceful nights sleep with fantastic breakfast in the morning.. We were sad to leave and will most definitely return! Thistle Guest House is a hidden gem which we couldn’t fault-simply outstanding ❤️

The house is stunning with tasteful decorations. The beds were extremely comfortable. Tea, coffee and cake was offered at arrival which was such a nice touch. We enjoyed that in their beautiful living room with views of the loch. The breakfast was also the best we had in Scotland. We especially enjoyed the homemade jams. Nothing! We wished we could have stayed for a week!

• Ruen (10/5): - There was a safe place for me to keep my motorcycle out of view. upon arriving staff were immediately friendly and offered to help me with getting the bike sorted. I was even greeted by a little wild bird who popped out the bush, apparently he is fed by the staff The room was very clean and the property is in a beautiful location with views of Inverary Castle across Loch Fyne. It would be nice if there were a path down to the Loch as the waters edge was pretty much inaccessible other than that, no criticism the cooked breakfast in the morning was outstanding one of the best I've ever had

• Lyubov (10/5): - This place, although far away, is worth coming to. The booking says that check-in is only until 7 pm, but we were checked in at 10:30 pm, but I asked in advance. This was the most important thing for us, because it's a long drive from the Isle of Skye. We had a wonderful room for three, everything is thought out to the smallest detail, everything is selected by color. The bathroom is very modern, there is everything you need. You can make your own breakfast menu. It was very, very tasty, the hosts are nice and wonderful. There was a gluten-free person in our company, and they cooked separately for her. The dining room and living room are also very well decorated. All the details add comfort during your stay, it feels like we are at home. The area is also beautiful, the house is right on the lake. Also, parking for a car on the territory is free.

Tolle Lage am Loch Fyne mit Blick bis Inveraray am gegenüberliegenden Ufer, geschmackvoll, gastlich und hochwertig eingerichtetes Haus, sehr gepflegtes Anwesen mit gutem Parkplatz. Hervorragendes Frühstück mit vielen individuellen Auswahlmöglichkeiten, auch für Vegetarier, mit frischen Zutaten zubereitet. Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig, das Bett sehr bequem, das Badezimmer modern mit ebenerdiger Dusche, alles sehr sauber. Für die Gäste steht eine tolle Lounge - mit Ledersofas und Polstermöbeln eingerichtet - zum Lesen und zum Entspannen oder zum „aus dem Fenster aufs Wasser gucken“ zur Verfügung. Das wirklich Besondere dieses B&B ist aber sind die großartigen Gastgeber: -die mit touristischen und gastronomischen Tipps weiterhelfen -oder an Sachen denken, an die man selbst nicht gedacht hat (Schirme, Mückenspray) -oder einen Tee in der Lounge anbieten - oder Zeit für ein nettes kleines Gespräch haben. Wunderbare Menschen.

• S1407MRclaireb (10/5): Fantastic b&b, BOOK TO STAY HERE!!! Amazing - Outstanding. The word outstanding doesn’t quite cover it, this is a spectacularly run b&b by two wonderful ladies. We received the most wonderful welcome, the room was spotless with a fantastic view. We stayed Monday 14th July for one night. We sat outside and just enjoyed the view of the lake for a few hours, wonderful. I’m a coeliac and they cater wonderfully for gluten free, nothing was too much of an issue. We wish we had stayed more than one night, I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to visit the area and we will be definitely using the b&b again when up north. Thank you so much both, you have a fantastic b&b!!!

We were greeted by Avril who explained everything and made sure we were settled in and showed us the beautiful home. Our room was spacious and we had a gorgeous sitting area downstairs for our relaxation. Breakfast was delicious. A wonderful home and fantastic hosts. Highly recommended Absolutely nothing
