Sehr praktische Fenster + Verdunklung.. Gute Dusche. Eigener Raum für Gepäck. Frühstück am Sonntag (wahrscheinlich mehr Gäste) gut, danach sehr sparsam. Ich habe praktisch allein das Buffet (2 Omletts, eine Handvoll gebratenen Schinken) leergegessen. Motivation des Personals ausbauwürdig.

- Peter (7/5): - Honestly it was a totally different experience. The hotel actually feels like it was originally a residential treatment center and the bedding seems outdated but it's clean. They have all the satellite channels for TV. The surrounding area is gorgeous but not especially close to St. George or Zion National Park. The hotel has a unique history and a responsive staff. The breakfast was awesome. They made it for us right on the spot. It was real eggs and I loved the muffins. It felt like an old compound. Like Osama Bin Laden used to live there but I think that just made it more interesting.

When we arrived, it turned out that our room had been rented out and we were offered a completely different one. The room did not have the required amount of bed linen and towels. There was no soap or shampoo. We had to go and ask for the missing things several times. The room was large, but very dirty. It seems that they had not cleaned it... ever(((. And when booking, it shows that breakfast is included. But this is not entirely true. I booked accommodation for 6 people, 4 adults and 2 children (14 and 17 years old), so breakfast was only for 2 people!!!! Nonsense!!! When checking out, the staff did not even nod in response to the words "Bye" of 6 people, they just sat playing cards and pretended that no one passed by them. What bad manners and disrespect!!!

- Katalya (5/5): The stay wasn’t terrible, but the room left a lot more to be desired. - We liked the proximity to the wedding venue and appreciated having access to breakfast in the morning. The room was not very clean. There was dust on the headboards and in the shower. It’s obviously been there a while. The floor was sticky and there was residue around the sink. As if it hadn’t been wiped down since the last person used it. The person at the desk was friendly enough, but not very informative without any prompting.

- Gary (8/5): Very good - The breakfast was excellent. The room was clean. The attendant gave a good recommendation for dinner, the salad bar at a grocery store, that I ate in the community park during sundown, very nice. The flourescent bulb doesn't work well in a lamp with a 3-way bulb socket.

- Are (6/5): Quirky but comfortable - The room was quirky but comfortable, especially the beds. The floors weren't well vacuumed, spots were dusty and the toilet wasn't super clean. It's a big room to turnover, I think they just need to take a little more time with the details.

I love that it was built for a bad purpose, and has turned into a good one! The room was huge and so was the walk in closet and the bathroom. The bed and pillows were comfy. Don’t believe the bad reviews, it is not run down or dirty. I think some people just nitpick.

- Sharon (2/5): Way too was to far!!! - This hotel was advertised as being 20 mi from Zion Canyon. This was a lie. When we left the park and googled the address, it was 58 miles away, in the opposite direction. This was way too far to go back and forth. I called the hotel to cancel, and they charged me 50%. I called hotels.com to complainand they told me it was my job to check to location of a hotel, but if the hotel advertises 20 mi , I expect to go 20mi. I was left scrambling for other arrangements.

- Cheryl (10/5): Exceptional - This was a spectacular stay for us. The hotel is off the beaten path just enough that it is quiet. The room and bathroom were huge and the bed was very comfortable. The mountain view was just gorgeous all around! Very clean room and property. Breakfast was included, and it was amazing! Several restaurants and bars are very close by. Loved it.

Real value for money and probably overlooked by most travellers wanting close proximity to Zion's touristy side,in contrast this place is peaceful and apart from the friendly welcome and ongoing great service it had an amazing water canyon within a mile.No crowds ,a short 1 mile hike beside a creek to a small flat ,waterfall, and slot canyon.The rooms are generous sized and the breakfast A1.!!! Highly recommended that you choose to stay here.Hildale also has a fascinating local history ,being a refuge for the FLDS Mormon community , many of whom still live here..We found this Motel to be unconditionally friendly and welcoming Stuart and Carole We loved it

Well Located for the heading to the parks between Arizona and Utah. If I have to find something wrong, it is the duvet/comforter. I am not sure it is always washed every time new guests use the room. Generally comforters are not the most clean and hygienic ones to be using.

- Olga (6/5): - We visit this place to go to visit the Zion park. However, we have to drive 45 min to the park. I like about this hotel that it was pet friendly, room temperature was well maintained by two mobile ac units and it was spacious. What I don’t like is it feels unsafe without cameras, feels isolated, needs deep carpet cleaning, some furniture needs to be updated, tv remote controls didn’t work well and in general improve maintenance. Staff was very friendly (we saw two) and breakfast was okay. We appreciated the cheese handmade omelettes and country potatoes. They have cereal and oatmeal, fruit, juice and coffee for $10 pp.

- Donna (8/5): Don't be afraid - I booked the jacuzzi suite. The place was strange, the lady at the front desk seemed bothered by my asking questions about the area. She didn't tell us where to park, how to get upstairs, just handed me the key and told me to go to the back of the hotel. We ventured down the street and thru the gates into the back of the compound. The mansion is large, the back contains two sets of outside stairs. Once upstairs we went down a hallway and found our room. The room was huge. It had a king size bed, leather sofa, coffee table, dining table and chairs, tv and credenza. The walk-in closet had a microwave and refrigerator. The carpet was old, it had some slight stains and the color had faded from cleaning. You could only tell because the carpet went up the wall to a chair rail, and the color was a light mint green. All the trim was in golden oak. It was like a room from 1982. The carpet was probably 40 years old but still very tight. I actually took off my shoes because it didn't feel right walking on it with them on. This was some very expensive well made carpet. The workmanship on the house is quite impressive. But it is dated,but that didn't bother us. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. The bed was quite high. Probably 30 inches. I'm short and I had to run and jump to get on it. And it was a king bed the bedspread was too small. The towels were awful. They worked but they were dingy with blue stripes. They looked like prison towels. There were no cups- Two water filtration points and no way to capture it. No coffee maker.
- debi (2/5): DISGUSTING AND SUBSTANDARD - I travel quite a bit, and this was by far the WORSE hotel experience I have ever had. After arriving exhausted, I had to wait and then say "hello" to be able to get someone to help me at front desk. The lady had me fill out a form that I have never had to do at any hotel. One of the first things it stated was that they do not give full refunds but possibly some kind of discount which raised a red flag for me. Got into the room just to find bed sheets full of hair and debris. Completely disgusted, I went downstairs to ask for clean sheets, which I then frustratingly had to place on the bed myself and STILL found hair on. Needed some ice and found the ice machine was out of order. There was carpeting on the wall which had yellow stains on it. Nightstand on my side of the bed had no lighting whatsoever and outlet was too far to be able to charge and use my phone at the same time. There were missing light bulbs above bathroom sink and bulbs that didn't work at all. Fridge(which was sitting on the floor) and microwave were both in the closet. Lastly, TV remote volume only worked when I stood up from the bed. Found out this was a very big house that was converted into a "hotel". Heed the warning, folks. Don't believe whatever "good" reviews you might read. They are all BS. This place, in my opinion, does not meet the minimum standards expected in a hotel, and I am baffled as to how they are even in business

Asked for new sheets and mentioned the tv, whoever was working came in to fix the tv and basically fought the whole time. they upgraded our room, the tv had one button that worked, and there were still hairs in the tub and everywhere.
