• Gavin (10/5): We had a great time and can't wait to come back - The food is incredible. Everything about the place is authentic. There's a great wave right out front with world class waves all over the place. We felt extremely safe at the resort. It was an awesome trip. it's everything you need for an awesome surf trip.

• Carol (7/5): Amazing location. Room not cleaned prior to arrival - Excellent location. Large spacious room. Room was coated with dust. Random furniture snd debris in the entry room as they were in the middle of renovating the area to make it a kitchen. Renting a space under construction is not acceptable When we told the owner he did attempt to make it right but he preferred to make excuses and blame his staff
• Christopher (10/5): Convenient affordable location with a nice view and close to everything. - Breakfast was good and fresh, a few options available. Staff was also friendly and accommodating. Nice view and location. Ac was cold. Bedsheets were old and pillows were flat. Bed was a little hard but manageable.

Además las instalaciones requieren mantenimiento urgente. La puerta del baño no cerraba y se veían manchas de humedad en las paredes, así como agrietamiento en muchas de sus columnas.

• William (1/5): Avoid this place like no other. Stay away trust me. - The property was nasty and ugly. Pools were closed and access to the beach was blocked. Toilet didn’t have a toilet seat and drainage to the shower was bad. The shower sprayer didn’t spray water properly. The staff were rude and nasty. Breakfast was nasty. Don’t ever go there or you will regret it. Nasty and ugly.

The owners were super friendly and told us about their history, they also hel - It was the perfect location, the beach front view was so beautiful with great sunrises and sunsets. You’re able to walk out to the beach shore and it is very private there’s not a lot of people around that area.

• John (5/5): Decent place to rest your head, but not a place to stay and relax on vacation - Staff was very friendly Rooms had gaps that you could hear everything from the neighboring room. Only two towels for the entire stay. Pillows not comfortable & no hot water.

They had a solid menu for lunch and dinner as well, the ceviche mixto was super good and so was the pescado desguazado ( deboned whole fish ) I highly recommend the arroz con camaron( Rice with shrimp ) supper good and filling after a long surf. They had all the natural drinks as well! Walking distance to point break and gas station, there are plenty of eats around you can walk to as well. The beds were decent but the pillows were a bit small for my liking.

• Vanessa (1/5): This place is HORRIBLE - Not a thing!! Nothing to like at this resort. The owner was already drunk upon arrival. I was bothered in the middle of the night to re-check. Very unorganized, the sons of the owner are NO HELP. Not fun at all. No evening music, No food but yet asking me for additional money and ignoring the fact that I had a paid reservation. The water in the room was salty water. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. DONT BE FOOLED BY THE COOL NAME. If you’re looking for a good place to have a good time go to LULO which is walking distance from this nasty place.

• Ben (9/5): Superb - The place is right on the beach with plenty of chairs and hammocks set up to eat your breaky or guzzle down a beer while overlooking the surf and sunset. The staff on site cook up a pretty mean meal and the location is pretty close to some other good spots to grab a bite. The location is pretty well smack bang in the middle of El Tunco and Punta Roca, so as long as you have some sort of transportation, you'll be able to zip down to either, with little trouble. For the surfers: the owner and his son are pretty much legends of the local surf scene, having been in the area since the 70s, and are very knowledgeable about what's going in the area - neither mind a chat and you can sponge all the local knowledge you can off them. There is a beach break and a right-hand point straight in front that was pretty fun to mess around on, on any given day. In the time I was there, there was never more than 5 people in the water which is pretty well perfect for lazy session. A bit of a trap for the unwary traveller (me - because I didn't look or plan the trip before going) with the naming sense. The accommodation isn't actually at the Punta Roca surf break - that's a few km away.
• Crystal (10/5): A hidden gem in prime location with the best hospitality and friendly vibe! - The host family was incredibly warm and welcoming! They took care of us throughout our stay and instantly made it feel like home! The resort was clean, beautiful, and had everything we needed right there. We will be back!!!
