Guest Reviews
- Dan (10/5): Great place to stay - We had a wonderful time and our host was very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and we enjoyed an outstanding breakfast in the morning. We wished we could’ve stayed longer. If we come back ,we will definitely choose this site to stay.
- Susan (10/5): Beautiful Historic Inn - Beautiful & Charming Inn close to the water, shopping and dining. Kevin was a great host and gave great recommendations on where to eat dinner. He also prepared a wonderful breakfast. Highly recommend - will stay again!
- Elizabeth (10/5): Lovely B&B on Quiet Street - The North Street Inn is a lovely home in Beaufort's historic area. It is on a quiet street just two short blocks from the Beaufort River. It is not downtown but is a pleasant walk from that area. My room was a bit cold, but I did sleep very well in it. The owner, Kevin, fixed for breakfast some of the finest blueberry pancakes I have ever eaten! Coffee was excellent.
- Raquel (10/5): - Kevin was an excellent host. Breakfast was amazing!
- TJL (6/5): - Pro’s. location and friendly owners.
Con’s. poor upkeep. Room very dusty shower did not appear clean and shower curtain was dirty and discolored.
- Rocco (10/5): - Our stay was wonderful and the owner was very welcoming. Perfect location and walking distance to down town Beaufort.. very happy to stay there again
- Jeanna (8/5): - Host was very nice and accommodating. Neighborhood was very quiet.
- Morgan (10/5): Wonderful Experience - Overall cozy atmosphere in a great historic part of town. Breakfast was excellent we had the fluffiest blueberry pancakes. The owners were really helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend staying here! 10/10
- Carmen (2/5): - Property owner was friendly. But first impressions are hard to overcome. The exterior is in disrepair and needs significant attention. The house is lovely inside, but there were no other guests there. That seemed a little eerie. The “yellow room” was nicely appointed but the duvet was stained, the sheets and pillows smelled musty and the bathroom shower curtain was mildewed and stained. We spoke with the proprietor and stated our reasons for wanting to leave. We tried to be respectful, but this set-up is like an air-B&B. One where you voluntarily, knowingly rent a room, consenting in advance to sharing a house with two middle aged brothers. This was not like a traditional B&B where you rent a room amongst other guests in a home. The vibe was just plain weird.
- Adriane (10/5): - We loved the quaint and well maintained bedroom. It was well appointed with a very comfortable bed and lovely linens. Coffee and breakfast was something to look forward to. We appreciated the knowledge of the area by our host, Kevin.
- Daniel (10/5): Would visit again! - Kevin was an amazing host! We talked briefly when there was some free time (I was on a tight schedule for business). Had the luxury of staying in the Yellow room and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. He asked what time to prepare breakfast, and I woke up to the best homemade blueberry pancakes I've ever tasted!
Great guy, hope to get the opportunity to visit again!
- GaryandMarsha (10/5): - Beautiful older home renovated into a B&B. Kevin (owner) was very nice and also very informative about the area. The room (Yellow) was neat and clean. note: the TV could be placed higher for viewing. Used an actual skeleton key to enter the room. Nostalgic. Breakfast was delicious and all hand made in the kitchen. The Town of Beaufort and the waterfront area is a short distance away (about 1 mile). Great place to swing on the public swings and relax watching the boats and water activities. We will be back. Thanks, Kevin.
- Verified traveler (8/5): North Street Inn: Off the Beaten Path - Proprietor always courteous and friendly. Property itself was cozy on the inside, but the structure itself needs repair, painting, and updating. Bedroom as comfortable and clean. The blueberry pancakes, bacon, and coffee were delicious. This property was walking distance to Bay Street and a nice view, but a very long walk to the shops in and around Bay Street.
- Nicholas (10/5): Great Historic Beaufort Inn! - Kevin was a very good host, great location to downtown, shops and food. Breakfast each morning was outstanding. Highly recommend!
- Verified traveler (2/5): Needs cleaning - This inn seriously needs a good cleaning inside and out. The owner was nice enough and we enjoyed the location.
- Nancy (8/5): - Historic property, convenient to town, beautiful floral art work displayed through the home
- Verified traveler (4/5): Run down - Not as described - We pull up and the house looked abandoned. Landscape was grown up. There was a car sitting on property that looked to be not running. We go into the house and the host seemed a little off. The kitchen was not clean. I would not have eaten there. Asked for ice and there was a bag in the bottom of the freezer that was frozen solid. The house was extremely hot and we couldn't sleep. We decided just to leave at 6am. Would not recommend.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The house was lovely and clean. The breakfast was delicious
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Quaint, old Victorian style home. Inside very nicely appointed. Grounds and outside need some fixing up. Very quiet.
- Cyndi (10/5): Perfect get away - Our host, Kevin, was absolutely wonderful. Very informative with any questions asked. Personable with positive disposition. I would recommend his B&B to anyone who likes to feel welcome and informed. We will definitely be staying with him again!
- Gary (8/5): Great B&B! - Kevin was an amazing host! The breakfasts were delicious! Our room was cozy, and clean! Perfect place to celebrate our Anniversary!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Kevin the owner made our stay very pleasant. He even allowed us to use his dryer when a rain squall soaked our clothes. The house is a gorgeous historic building so it has eccentricities. I found it charming.
- Linda (8/5): Great location. - Loved the area and the location. Accomodations good and breakfast 5star!

- Brandon (10/5): Simpson - Fantastic all the way around
- Verified traveler (8/5): Beaufort beauty - Beautiful place and great spacious room. Excellent breakfast and short walk to everything. Nice and quiet for sleeping. Kitchen could use a god scrub though.
- Travis (8/5): - We enjoyed our stay at the North Street Inn. Our room was spacious and well appointed. The interior of the Inn is beautiful. Kevin was a wonderful host.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful Beaufort - Great location. Appropriate Bed and Breakfast accommodations. Helpful and informative. We will return and recommend.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The location was good wit adequate parking and the owner did allow us to check in a hour early. However the property needs a lot of work to be ready to have tenants.
- Julie (10/5): Great Weekend in Beaufort. - Everything about our stay at the North Street Inn was wonderful. Great location, very friendly and the breakfast was great!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We had a very enjoyable experience. Kevin was friendly and helpful, as well as being fascinating to talk with about shared interests. Breakfast was delicious. The inn's location, a few blocks of the center of Beaufort, was perfect. With Kevin's help, we found a good restaurant for dinner.

- Robert (10/5): - Very comfortable and relaxing stay. The Inn was wonderful, and Kevin was a warm and caring host. We enjoyed our stay tremendously.
- Charley (8/5): Love Beaufort! - Nice room, pleasant ineresting host & great location.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This was my second stay and, as with the first time, was very pleased. The owner/manager is very friendly and welcoming. It is a very low-key Inn, offering a nice room with bath and breakfast. The property sits about 2 blocks, a ten minute walk to downtown Beaufort making the stay very convenient to shopping and excellent restaurants. On both visits my husband and I had breakfast with the couple staying on the property. They were both very interesting and friendly, we consider this a real bonus to the visit. I highly recommend this Inn to anyone visiting the Beaufort area, which is an easy drive to both Charleston and Savannah. Jeannie Monson
- mark (10/5): - The service and food was fantastic. Only having 2 rooms at the bed and breakfast was a plus. Very quite and enjoyable meeting different breakfast guests every morning of our stay. The owner Kevin was very helpful and went the extra mile to help solve a trip dilemma on our last morning. Will stay here on our next trip to Beaufort.
- BetsyCarone (10/5): - The location to the downtown historic area was convenient.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We stayed in the green room this time. We have stayed in the yellow room as well. Both rooms are nice decorated. The best thing about the stay is the host, Kevin. He is very welcoming and makes a great breakfast accompanied with great conversation.
It is located in the downtown area and within walking distance of the Chocolate Tree. What could be better!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very charming bed and breakfast near the marina. The owner was very friendly and helpful in giving suggestions for restaurants and things to do.
- Maureen (10/5): Great breakfast, great location, lovely area - We had a wonderful time at the North Street Inn! While the Inn''s exterior could use some work, it is a lovely old place. Kevin was very warm and welcoming and helpful, giving us recommendations. His breakfast of spinach frittata and blueberry muffins was absolutely wonderful! Our room was lovely and very comfortable, and the location was great - just a block away from the water. Very picturesque neighborhood. Beaufort is a marvelous walking town and every single person we met was noticeably friendly and full of smiles. One woman made a point of making sure we didn't miss seeing author Pat Conroy's house with the grapefruit tree in front. We can't wait to go back.
- Phyllis (10/5): - Great B & B in the Beaufort Historic area. Loved the house, easy walk to the waterfront. Kevin is an awesome host and makes a wonderful breakfast. We made a new friend, love this place!
- Mark (8/5): Christmas stay in Beaufort - The North Street Inn is a stately, charming old house, whose hospitable owner is a font of information about the area. The price was reasonable (we stayed in December), and our room fairly spacious for a B&B and conveniently situated near the kitchen and door. Also, the collection of available books was well-selected. The breakfast was good but not spectacular. The mattress seemed to sag in the middle,
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The old south feeling. He was very helpful and help us with all are needs. The house was very nice and clean.
- Debbie (10/5): Homier than any hotel. - Amazing- first experience in a B&B. Looking forward to future trips and staying at a B&B.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - A charming historic home and true southern picture. Perfect location to the river front in Beaufort. Beautiful home and very relaxing. It was Perfect.
