• YUMIKO (5/5): 前に箱根でゲストハウスに泊まり、アットホームで楽しかったので岡山で試しで泊まりましたが、今回はチェックインもアウトで鍵も勝手に開けて閉めて誰にも会う事がなく（それが快適な人もいますが）チェックアウトし - 岡山駅から歩いて行ける範囲。 駐車場３台無料とありますが、定住している？人がいるのか3日共使えませんでした。

• naoyuki (7/5): 岡山市内のリーズナブルな宿での宿泊 - 岡山市内でなかなか宿泊施設を見つけることができなかった中で、比較的低価格の宿泊施設であったことが良かった。繁華街にも遠くはない距離だったので、飲食店などに困ることもなかった。 スタッフの説明が不十分であったこと、禁煙と書かれていたが、実際はそうではなかった（１階の共有スペース）ことなど。

• Chi An (7/5): - 負責人訊息回很快，也十分友善、有耐心！跟朋友（6人）住家庭房，有小客廳+三間可以用拉門隔開的小房間（兩間榻榻米、一間木地板放兩張單人床），整體蠻溫馨的。 屋內設施稍舊，像是熱水瓶、冷氣（其中一間沒有冷氣，隔壁那間要開強一點才能把冷氣分過去，但是那一間就變得很冷）。

• Maxime (7/5): Good - It's specious and in a calm area, 15 min from the station. I didn't interact much with the staff because I wasn't there much except when sleeping. From the few interactions we had he seemed nice. Free washing machine (didn't need it though). It's one room but within the same house, so you basically hear everything. People were partying up to midnight and the first floor and if they didn't drop the volume when I asked, I wouldn't have slept. Similarly, there is only one shower and they were 8/9. If they all took one at the same time as I, t'd have taken forever. ^^ Some people mention that's it's dusty, and indeed, it feels stuffy. Note however that it's also due to the material used for the floor which easily catches dust. TLDR: bad isolation, only one shower/toilet for many rooms.

• Yasmin (6/5): Ok stay in Okayama - It was about 15 mins from the main train station. The room was private, spacious and the bed was comfortable. The room also had a lockable door which was great. The staff were also quite friendly as well. It wasn’t the cleanest. When we went into our room and the duvet cover had stains and a hole on it and the duvet was actually twisted inside the cover. The room was also really dusty and looked like it hadn’t been hoovered thoroughly in a while. It was close to the smoking balcony and you could smell the smoke from our room. The shower was also quite weird. It was attached to the laundry room and had a translucent door. So when you were showering, you had to close both the shower and laundry door, locking people out of the laundry and sink for after the toilet. It again wasn’t the cleanest. A bit more attention to detail and thorough cleaning and this place could be great, but as it is, I wouldn’t stay here again.
• Ignacio (8/5): Very Nice - I only stayed 2 nights and I booked last minute so I didn’t remember what I booked lol, I had my own room with Japanese still I mean the whole place is like that which is really cool!, the bath area is really big! Super close to the main mall and train station (walking distance) and also you could walk to go see the castle or the museums (Shin Chan the owner even told me I could use his bike) overall my stay was really great and I couldn’t be more thankful for Shin Chan’s hospitality! Thank you again for everything!

• Gamur (10/5): If I could book any hotel on a budget in all of Japan, it would be this one. - So I’d assumed that with such an affordable price, it would be something similar to a hostel. I had read online that it can be that at times online, but oh my goodness, was I pleasantly surprised. Not only was I greeted with hospitality, but treated and accommodated every step of the way. I think this is genuinely the best quality/money value I’ve ever gotten in Japan, and even better, it’s very close to the city center! The main light in my room did not have an off-switch, so I had to turn all the lights at night by turning the main switch off, but it was a mild inconvenience compared to the comfort of the room, and the view from the balcony!
• Hanna (7/5): Spacious guest house for budget travelers - Spacious room and comfortable beds. Felt very welcomed by the staff, and he lend us their bicycles for free. The laundry machine was free to use and the dryer was broken. Shared areas could be cleaner. The living room and the balcony looked nice but smelled of cigarettes.

Coffee is good also. Though the bathroom and toilet is ok, since it is shared by everyone, sometimes I cannot use it because someone is using.

• Mica (8/5): Very good - Large twin room, comfy beds, the staff member that checked us in was really friendly and helped with questions about getting to Naoshima. They had tea and coffee making facilities but no crockery to use, very quiet and could not get hold of staff during our stay.

• Caulfield (8/5): a comfy place to stay in okayama :) i would definitely come again. - the lady who helped us check in was so nice and the place had a real homey feel. the rooms were really big and the beds were comfy too. the facilities were just ok and the location was good too! just a 15 min walk to the station. reasonable price too :) nothing to complain about!

• Julia (9/5): Comfortable stay and great location - Comfortable beds and pillows. The bathroom had a bath which was handy. I was very fortunate to be able to check in early. The location is great, ten minutes walk to Aeon Mall which has lots of shops and restaurants and a 13 min walk to station. I couldn't find hand soap so I bought some myself, not a big deal though.

If you do not have heavy luggage it is ok to staying here. Email to the owner will not reply but if you use social media, he is ok with it. Add WhatsApp for easy communication.
• Eric (10/5): Amazing value for a casual backpacker-style stay - The beds were great. The value is really good. The night of our check-in the owner gave us some info about sightseeing in the city. The second night I hung out in the common room with a few other French travelers and a Japanese staff member who offered us food cooked from plants from his garden. We drank and talked and it was a great time. Very friendly staff all around. A bit uncomfortable sometimes, the bathroom and toilet room were a bit rough.

• Erick (8/5): There was some confusion involving the remote check-in, but it was convenient and good value. - The owner was friendly and helpful -- he gave us a free upgrade. He was also flexible, as we weren't sure what time we would check in. The building was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The booking website as well as the owner kept saying there would be free parking even though there wasn't. Parking wasn't expensive, but it was still a glaring inaccuracy.

• Dorianl (8/5): Spacious and private for a very good price - Shinta was very accomodating and friendly and the room was more spacious then I expected. It's an easy walk from the station, almost one straight road. Some English instructions for the washing machine would be helpful for foreign guests
