• Barbora (10/5): - Krásný apartmán v nádherné vile. Milá a ochotná paní majitelka. Rádi bychom si pobyt v budoucnu zopakovali. Poloha je dál od centra, ale dá se využít autobus či auto zaparkovat v parkovacích domech. Cestovali jsme se psem, takže pro nás klidnější lokalita byla ideální.

• Elisabetta (10/5): Se cerchi una soluzione perfetta per visitare Verona e dintorni, sei nel posto giusto. - Il riscontro riguardo la struttura è andato ben oltre le aspettative. Gli appartamenti erano nuovi, pulitissimi e con ogni comfort. Siamo arrivati in tarda serata e abbiamo trovato casa calda e accogliente. Spazi grandi e puliti, letti comodi. Addirittura (cosa veramente rara secondo la mia personale esperienza) la struttura mette a disposizione la spugna per lavare i piatti NUOVA, tabs per lavastoviglie, biancheria per la cucina. Ci siamo sentiti veramente a casa. Nulla, tutto perfetto
• Franziska (9/5): Die Villa Mainard war ein guter Ausgangspunkt um in Verona einen schönen Aufenthalt zu verbringen. - Mir gefiel der Stil der Einrichtung und dass es alles in allem sauber war. Außerdem fand ich die Seifen und Duschhauben im Bad sehr hilfreich. Die Ausstattung der Küche war gut, aber nicht hervorragend für einen längeren Aufenthalt (wir waren vier Nächte). Es gab einen kleinen Geschirrspüler, aber nicht genug Geschirr um diese voll zu bekommen. Wegen zwei/drei Tellern hat man dann doch lieber von Hand gespült oder das Frühstück beim nächsten Mal einfach aus Suppentellern gegessen.

Right from Check-in process the experience wasn't good. Despite multiple requests the host did not let us take a look at the apartment. Since we had 2 apartments booked, even after paying upfront for one, she did not let us see the apartment until we completed entire payment for both the apartments. Our request to reduce our stay from two to one night (since we did not like the place) was also denied. The entire apartments had a weird and a very very bad smell. The furniture, furnishings etc in the apartment seemed very old. Sofa bed was in poor condition. The heating wasn't working and wifi details were not provided either. No one around to help or to reach out. The kitchen was not well equipped either. The location of the place is far (good 30-40 minutes) from Garda lake.
• John (8/5): - We were two couples who shared a two bedroom apartment. The apartment has been recently renovated, and all appliances were new. The apartment was very clean. The hosts assisted us with a late self check in as we arrived very late due to a national transport strike. The location is very quiet and close to a small supermarket. Buses to the centre of Verona are close by. We stayed for two weeks and had to ask for the mid-stay refresh of the apartment, which was done 2 days late. Communication with the host via whatsapp was, at times, poor as text messages went unanswered. A coffee machine should be provided. It would have been nice to have a bottle of water available on arrival.

• Diana (6/5): - De ligging. Vlakbij bushaltes waarmee je in 15 minuten in het centrum van Verona staat. Leuk ontbijt tentje om de hoek. Bedden waren prima. Er hing een vieze lucht in de studio. Dit was alle dagen dat wij er waren. De dame die ons ontving, wilde dit met een geur spray oplossen en leek er, naar mijn idee, verder geen aandacht aan te besteden. Luchten van de studio ging niet goed, omdat er heel veel muggen zaten. Er was geen muskietennet aanwezig ( staat wel in de beschrijving). Geen parasols en geen strandstoelen aanwezig. Buiten een klein zitje, maar niet comfortabel.
• Jüttner (8/5): Eine schöne Unterkunft für die Erkundung Italiens, hier speziell Verona, Venedig oder der Gardasee. - Es handelt sich bei der Residence um eine reine Unterkunft ohne Frühstück oder anderen Möglichkeiten der Verköstigung. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und die Umsorgung der Inhaberin, welche auch deutsch gesprochen hat, war sehr löblich. Die genutzte Wohnung in der Villa Mainard war großzügig geschnitten und bietet auch für 5 Pax bei Nutzung des Sofas Platz. Verbaut sind zwei Klimaanlagen, was für eine angenehme Temperatur in den Räumlichkeiten gesorgt hat. Zwei Bäder sind ebenfalls in der Wohnung vorhanden (eins mit Dusche und das zweite mit Wanne). Das Fahrzeug konnte auf dem Grundstück geparkt werden, welches für Passanten nicht zugänglich gewesen ist. Mit Nutzung des vorhandenen Fahrstuhls war das Gepäck innerhalb weniger Minuten ent- und bei Abreise beladen. Angeboten wurden zusätzlich Fahrräder, die man einfach hätte nehmen können, um das Umfeld zu erkunden. In der Unterkunft waren alle notwendigen Dinge vorhanden, die es für den Aufenthalt bedarf. Das unser kleiner Hund mit von der Partie gewesen ist, stellte überhaupt keine Probleme dar. Alle Belange wurden entsprechend aufgenommen und man erhielt umgehend Antwort. Ein nicht vorhandener Balkon, was allerdings auch nicht beschrieben wurde. Die Nutzung der Sitzgelegenheiten auf den Grünflächen war bis zum Schluss unklar, da auch feste Wohnsitze auf dem Grundstück implementiert waren. Eine bessere Vorbereitung im Sinne der Lage von der genutzten Residence hätte Aufschluss darüber gegeben, dass man im Rand von Verona eincheckt und die Innenstadt nur mit dem Auto erreicht werden konnte. Im Umfeld gab es sehr wenig nutzbare Anlaufstellen zur Freizeitgestaltung oder Verköstigung.

Wir waren über ein sehr heißes langes Wochenende zu Besuch in Verona und haben die Klimaanlage geliebt! The were two air-conditioned units, but the bedrooms only had fans which, for the extreme whether we had wasn’t enough. It would’ve been nice to have a welcome pack with coffee and milk in it of which we had to turn round after a long days. Drive to go back and buy some the sofa in the kitchen doesn’t look clean the kitchen utensils need looking at as they are very sparse, there’s no dishcloth to wash up with it just lacked A friendly welcome. I’m sorry to say.
• Julie (10/5): A perfect place from which to explore Verona - We very much appreciated the large spaces for our large family. We were a short ten minute drive to central Verona. In the local neighborhood we found great restaurants. Gelato. A bank and grocery store. With so many traveling in our family we were grateful for the washing machine. Parking was spacious and secure for our large van. Towels and linens and beds were great. The reception staff were very helpful to answer questions and offer helpful suggestions for our needs. We highly recommend this place! Nothing.

• Sonia (2/5): Look Elsewhere - I would not recommend this accommodation. We had booked three rooms for three night. During the entire stay we had no access to wifi. I am not sure how the owners expected international travels to manage without a wifi connection in any of the rooms. The accommodation itself is very basic with an aging interior and lacking simple necessities like shampoo. The AC units were located outside the bedrooms and were very noisy. If you want a comfortable stay find another place.

There was an elevator which was very important for me, and also an indoor parking lot in the yard. The garden was very pleasant with many beautiful flowers. We didn't like a few things. It was very cold, no extra blankets. The host explained to us that we could adjust the temperature with a device on the wall, but it was set to 20 degrees and it was impossible to make a change. It was a heat pump that was turned off centrally because the radiators in the rooms were cold. We saw two air conditioners. One in the hallway the other in the living room. My husband spend 2 hours to find the remote control. The one in the hallway was unable to work. The first night was freezing. Fortunately, I had an extra blanket in the car so my mom could use it. I personally slept whit thermal underwear like if Im am in the woods. I left messages several times the room to be cleaned. It happened only once. The rest of the time there was no reaction. Since this is not a hotel, it was explained to me that the only way to contact the owners is by writing to them in booking. It was not according to the rules that I should seek another kind of contact with the host. I left the mark “clean the room several times” without result. I spend half a day writing them messages about how to deal with the trash. No answer! They replied to me at 10.39 PM. That was our last night in the villa. We were sleeping already. And the answer was “ It is not a hotel, and according to the villa policy we can clean the room only once. And yes they did it only once.

• Melissa (10/5): Fantastic home like experience - We had two apartments, one for a family of five and the other for two. Both apartments were fantastic. Air conditioning worked well- better than many other Italian apartments. The amount of space in the apartments was great- we had more than enough room. Everything was clean, garden was beautiful. There is a small grocery (Vivo), cafe with good coffee and croissants (DolceAmor) a bakery and a bus stop all within 5min. There is also a park that our kids enjoyed playing in within 15min. The washer can only handle a few clothes and there is no dryer. This is quite standard in Italy from my experience, and we still greatly appreciated having them for our extended stay.

Being self-catering there was everything you needed and if you needed anything extra all you had to do was ask and this was given. The owners were really lovely and helpful. You could even do your own washing and ironing for free. You are five minutes in either direction of a Pizzeria which is excellent value for money. Breakfast was a five minutes’ walk to a lovely patisserie with freshly baked pastries made by hand and excellent value for money. The bus stop for going to Verona and beyond was a five-minute walk and came every 15 minutes. The bus stopped directly opposite Porto Nuovo train station as well as stopping in Verona centre. The town has a lovely Gelato Place, and the mini supermarket has everything you need. Villa Mainard provided free bikes to use, and this enables you to cycle around the town. The room we stayed in was great. The shower pressure was excellent, the air conditioning was excellent too and you could even get one UK channel on the TV which was great should you want to stay in and relax. The kitchen has everything you need to make a meal. For the location, facilities and what Villa Mainard offers the price was very good. There was plenty of room for parking should you drive. I would stay at Villa Mainard again. Nothing

• Denise (8/5): Nice quiet stay on outskirts of Verona - It’s a lovely quiet villa with plenty of secure parking. The family owners are very friendly and welcoming. The apartment was spotlessly clean, had a lovely view and a very comfortable bed. The AC units worked really well which is much appreciated when the temperature is high.
• Ariyabandu (9/5): Very relaxing self containing villa for a family of four - The villa itself was exceptionally good. It was very spacious and comfortable. It was self containing with washing and drying facilities available at the basement at no extra cost. The Old gent and his wife who lives there were very sweet though we could not communicate due to language barrier but they helped us in using the washing machine and drier. We would have loved to stay a few more days. The only downside was the Wi-fi was not very stable and we could not connect to internet but we managed with data. Nothing noteworthy of mentioning

It is quite old, the AC was not working, it would probably deserve soon a bit of renovation. For the price I would expect a slightly bit better facilities. During our vacation we stayed in several places and this didnt completely met our expectations.

• Glenda (9/5): Beautiful house, very helpful and pleasant reception; very close to the wineries and Verona centre. - Breakfast was not included but we were directed to a pasticceria a block away which had delicious pastries. The wine glasses were all different sizes which made it interesting to share wine around.
• Everton (9/5): Superb - The apartment was big and had all the facilities we needed. Close to a supermarket where we could bought things to cook. The villa is beautiful and has a nice garden to relax. Could not only recommend but I would like to go back. Nothing to complain
• Lauren (9/5): The new property was dreamy 💕 - The property was very dreamy.. beautiful building and gardens. The owners were amazing even with a bit of language barrier. I would definitely stay here again if I get to return to Verona again!! Nothing was really bad just a few things slightly lacking. The bed was quite firm, the oven didn’t work (or I couldn’t figure out how to use it but it looked simple enough), and the air conditioning unit barely cooled the room. Still, this would not hold me back from staying here again with all of the many pluses of the property!

• Tomi (9/5): short family getaway - Trees just outside our apartment windows and we could open windows and experience the nature. You can’t get that in hotels in city centers.
• Michal (8/5): Very good - Very spacious and well equipped property. Excellent public transport connection to Verona. Wifi. Very short range. No stable signal in either bedroom. Constant disconnections. Very aggressive blocking policy e.g. no TikTok, Garmin websites. Unsecured network accessible to anyone without password. Church bells and traffic could be heard clearly through closed windows.

• Ann (10/5): Well-appointed apartment in quiet residential area - The apartment was within a lovely house set in a quiet residential area. The owner and his daughters were very kind and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble. There are shops nearby, and several cafes and restaurants. There is a regular bus service into the centre of Verona which we did use on a couple of occasions, but we also walked (about 50 minutes). The apartment was on the ground floor with a little patio area for our use in the garden. It was spacious, comfortable and clean with a well-equipped kitchen area. We would love to return if possible in the future. Nothing

• Iulia (10/5): Excellent!!! - We stayed in a two bedrooms apartment, with two bathrooms and kitchen. All was excellent, the host was very nice, accepting an early check in, as we only stayed one night and wanted to see Verona center. The Residence has a nice garden and it deserves a long stay.

• Sandor (10/5): Our family really liked the apartment. Thanks to the owners and staff. - The apartment was well equipped, spacious, comfortable with excellent parking. The villa in which the apartment is located is in a pleasant suburban setting. I can say no such thing.

• Natalia (9/5): Pleasant stay in a modern villa close to the historic center - Beautiful 2-storey villa in a suburb outside the historic center of Verona. Large, modern apartment, comfortable bed, elevator, AC in both rooms. Washing machine in the basement, the possibility to dry your clothes on a rack in your bathroom. The windows had no insulation from the noise of the street below (there was traffic late at night and pretty early in the morning. The electric sockets were mostly of the F type (with 2 narrow prongs, suitable for the narrow plugs). Only one in the bathroom could accommodate the usual, round 2-prong with thicker prongs plugs for the laptop charging cable.

• Denys (8/5): Very good - The villa itself is very authentic and the garden is cozy and beautiful. Everything was clean and working well. The staff is friendly and polite. The apartments are located too close to the road, it gets noisy every morning at 6 am and you can be awaken by the cars fussing around.
