Guest Reviews
- kutsira (2/5): Not good - Clean Took 3 hrs to serve food
Didn’t answer phone
No clear instructions
- Kay (10/5): - Comfortable and cute ! lovely little stay
- Matt (7/5): Clean and comfy just a couple small issues - Clean and comfy no worries there stayed here before always been the same Room we stayed in this time was a total dead zone no phone signal wifi wouldn’t connect even though a card advertised it was available and main door leaked hallway light into the room all night .
- Antony (7/5): -
- Suwarni (8/5): -
- Carol (6/5): - Quiet location Reception not avaliable evenings and mornings. Had to go to restaurant to find staff to re do door key when locked out. 2 days out of 4.
- Geoff (8/5): Very good value with a clean, comfortable, decent sized room - and very quiet - The room is decent sized with a comfortable bed and it's nice to have a bath as well as a shower. I booked breakfast too, and it was decent value. You can also get into Redditch town centre very quickly. Nothing really.
- Thorp (9/5): Great location for event we were attending and perfect location for motorway access. - It was very close to the venue for the event we were attending. Everything was provided in the room. The staff were friendly and helpful It was slightly dated but it is absolutely fine for a nights stay. Sadly the bedsheets had stains on them.
- Craig (9/5): Lovely -

- Stuart (8/5): Very good value. - Very good food. Comfortable. Poor quiality lavatory paper.
- Andrew (7/5): Good for overnight stay - Good location, easy access to M42
Reception staff and breakfast service
Situated next to open fields, good for a walk or run
Pub on site with Tuesday night pub quiz Lack of heating in the room was quickly dealt with
- Benedict (7/5): One night stay, Countryside equivalent of Premier Inn - Easy check in. Comfortable beds. Massive bed plus sofa-bed. Nice ensuite. Decent food. Nice staff.
Convenient re cost. Bedroom door did not shut re self-closing, so presented a security risk if you didn't check the door when leaving (I reported this). Shower not easily adjustable re height so meant taller folk had to lean back, stand on slope to get full effect.
Online check-in portal felt unnecessary considering I was staying for 1 night and all details requested had already been provided by Booking.com, but required re-entering to gain confirmation number / code for the hotel.
Place felt empty. Lots of capacity but no-one around. Skeleton staff (not a complaint, just an observation) and only a few guests.
- Liam (9/5): -
- Lorraine (9/5): Great place to stay - the staff are brilliant! - Friendly staff Getting into the bath to shower was a slippery experience
- Fiona (8/5): Overall it was fine apart from the above - Location Lack of mirror over dressing table , no replenishing of tea and coffee in rooms and lack of supply at reception and poor breakfast
- Nathan (9/5): -
- Alan (8/5): Convenient and fair price - Lovely staff and convenient for our frequent stays. Price is usually fair Rooms are showing signs of tiredness.
- Geoffrey (8/5): Good value stay at comfy hotel. - Room and bathroom were clean. Plenty of free parking space close to the property. Staff friendly and helpful. Location close to M42 for easy access, and handy for Redditch town centre.
Breakfast was ok at £8.75, including cereals, cooked breakfast and toast etc., but overall reasonably tasty. With cereals and as much toast as you wanted, it was filling enough, and for the money was ok.
Have stayed here several times before and will continue to do so. Nothing really.
- Philip (10/5): Everthing was good, room was excellent st - Room was nice, no issues at all Nothing
- Jones (7/5): - Enjoyed the freedom of movement since we were staying here because we had an even to go to and we were able to come in and out as we pleased. Staff were polite as we had an issue with key cards and they resolved it as soon as they could The bins in the bathroom had rubbish and sanitary waste in them which was quite gross, and room service didnt clear it away the whole 4 days we were there which was not good
- Daniel (8/5): -
- Paul (9/5): -
- Philip (7/5): Typical chain hotel. - Location was good for our trip, rooms were comfortable and practical. Under-staffed particularly at breakfast
- Graham (8/5): Comfortable large rooms, staff polite and helpful. - Excellent breakfast, large room, easy and efficient checkin and departure, superb shower. Kettle missing from my room, smell of drains in the bathroom.

- J (10/5): - A lovely quiet location, with very clean comfortable spacious rooms, in countryside but close to Redditch town. The prices of rooms are generally good value. The staff are friendly and helpful. Altogether it's a pleasant experience. There are no lifts to the upper floor, although for most people that's not a problem. If necessary, a ground floor room can be requested if booking direct.
- Auto (10/5): -
- Ivy (10/5): Amazing - Staff were amazing
Lovely place More coffee and sugar in room
But it wasn’t a problem
- Phillip (9/5): -

- Dalais (10/5): Little Gem - Clean - comfortable. Great bar area. Staff both in the bar/restaurant and hotel went above and beyond. Fantastic value for month. Well located. We will definately be back. Could have a few salads on the menu and some yoghurt at breakfast.

- the bill (9/5): Good for overnight stay with good quality real ales - Friendly and helpful service. Clean and comfortable rooms. Easy parking. Breakfast facilities around coffee (free 😊) could have been cleaner. Bacon overcooked.
- Debbie (10/5): Fabulous stay - There was a lovely young lady called Allisa, she couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome and made sure we had everything we needed I found the assistant manager quite rude
- Zebedah (10/5): A fun packed time where you feel at home. - All the staff were amazing even the restaurant staff Maddie , Layton, then all the staff in the facility. Even Peter the porter was so friendly n welcoming. They all are amazing staff even the housemaids. I think her name was Julie n she was so lovely. They’re all extra friendly n helpful. I highly recommend this hotel. Better than Premier. I had the time of my life with them all. Such a wonderful experience so much so me n my aunt will definitely be going back there n bring more members to their establishment! Thank you for all your help kindness n support to all the staff at Meadow Farm Marsden Inn. Just need more plug points n a mirror on the wardrobe. Other than that nothing displeased us. Immaculate fantastic shower n tea n coffee as much as you wish. No complaints from me or my aunt.

- Matt (10/5): -
- Ian (9/5): - Room glean, and although I had people both sides of room it was quite. There is a pub on site for meals
Breakfast was excellent.
The evening meal not so good.
- Bailey (7/5): It was ok - The room was dated and tired needs refreshing Staff, and the bed was comfy

- jacqueline (9/5): -
- Neal (9/5): -
- bob (5/5): -
- Mark (8/5): Very pleasant - The staff very helpful No fridge in the room
No proper chair to sit in
- Laura (5/5): Take earplugs. - Convenient location The walls and ceilings are paper thin. We could hear everything. Noise coming from the room above us was unbearable. There must have been a child or dog running up and down the room from the very early hours of the morning. Either that or a tap dancing elephant. It wasn't the restful stay we had hoped for.
- Greenrodge (9/5): A Great Find - Staff were very friendly and helpful, in both the hotel and pub onsite. Our room had both a bath and shower which was a nice surprise. Buffet breakfast offered a good choice, with both classic and veggie cooked breakfasts available. Parking was safe, plentiful and free. A minor point, but the cooked breakfasts were a little undercooked for our liking.
- Stephanie (9/5): -
- Robert (9/5): -
- Kelly (9/5): Good comfortable stay - Fab location for what we wanted We could hear the doors slamming from early hours
- James (4/5): -
- Danny (4/5): Understaffed, badly maintained, unresponsive. - Very close to the crematorium and the stadium. Tired, shabby and badly maintained. Rats roaming the grounds. Understaffed and difficult to get problems solved. Main door closer badly adjusted, so door slams loudly waking you up. Locked out twice when the keycards failed. Staff didn't answer the mobile number given. Extractor fan, soap dispenser and shower controls broken. Dingy room. Power sockets 2.6m from mirror so it was very difficult to use the hairdrier.
