- Richard (6/5): Fine - Functional
Food available Bit tired and although not dirty it didn’t feel clean
Booked a family room yet had to ask for bedding towels mug for 3rd person and took 2 hours and asked twice
- Fiona (4/5): Wouldn’t go back here, staff were the best part - The staff were friendly Hotel room was not clean, very shabby, chairs had stains on them, no soap in bathroom or shower, rooms “ refreshed “ not cleaned which basically meant they dropped clean towels in.
My shower didn’t work first night.
- Fiona (3/5): Not enjoyable! - Nothing Rooms just shabby, beds uncomfortable, chairs had stains over them, didn’t feel clean at all, just not pleasant and wouldn’t stay again. Put me off any Marstons hotel for future
Food was over cooked, quality just cheap
- derek (9/5): hippy ayy a - location shower over the bath
- Justin (10/5): Amazing - Amazing Amazing
- Glen (8/5): -
- David (3/5): Disappointing - Very little Very noisy with children playing football in rear car park until very late. I had to ring reception to have it stopped.
- Kevin (1/5): -
- Michelle (10/5): - Location and breakfast The weather on the day
- Robert (8/5): It was nice location - Staff & Bar Smaller single beds
- TC* (7/5): Rooms good but expect a delay when checking in or if there is anything you want as a resident - It was a decent sized room, made for wheelchairs (not required for us) The staff are run off their feet, and check in/rooms isnt their priority, the restaurant is ... but they are still slow to serve
- Franklyn (9/5): Very comfortable and welcoming. - Clean and friendly. Nothing
- Francesca (7/5): Cold but a good location - The location The room as cold, even after I turnt the heating up. Cold seemed to be coming from the closed window
- Kevin (8/5): Ok, but probably wouldn't book again - good breakfast shower had no pressure
- Steven (7/5): Excellent value for money, will be using again - It was spacious, easy to find, clean, and so convenient for our trip to watch the rugby Nothing negative to say. Rooms were clean and comfortable

- Sarah (9/5): - Friendly staff. Great that there was an EV charger in the carpark.
Good to have a bath rather than just a shower. Lack of pavements along some of the nearby roads
- Susan (8/5): Great value for money - The staff were amazing! The housekeeper was warm friendly and extremely helpful. Exceptional value for money. We will return. This was our third visit to Sessile oak and we were again not disappointed. The only thing we didnt like were the net curtains were a bit shoddy and needed renewing.
- Carys (9/5): -
- Brian (8/5): Enjoyable and convenient - Good breakfast and great location for Parc y scarlets
- Mark (10/5): Staff made the place. The place was good, the staff made it exceptional. - Property was clean and comfortable throughout in the pub and room. Nothing really. It was what was on the tin, a restaurant with attached rooms. Perfect for an overnight stay for work
- Miroslaw (10/5): Kite buggy - Nice Coffi
- Reed (10/5): My wife had an operation in Prince Philip Hospital. - Room only ?
- alan (8/5): -
- Debi (7/5): Good for what we needed - Good location for Parc Y Scarlets which we were there for. Friendly staff in the bar and nice big pub with decent food. The little extras in the room could have done with topping out. The showered gel container was empty and we had 2 T bags. I'm sure we could have asked for me but would of meant getting back up and going over to the bar.
I noticed a sign in the bar advertising the rooms at £79. Guess we had to pay more because the rugby was on. I don't agree with putting prices up for occasions.
- ELIZABETH (5/5): Adequate for a night after a rugby match but stayed in Cardiff the following night for nearly £30 cheaper - Location for rugby . Needed a good update - Shower barely a trickle and towel rail broken .
- Elizabeth (10/5): Very good - Very friendly staff. Lovely bed. Good food. Very reasonable price.
- Barrie (8/5): -
- Maria (6/5): - Basic but ideal stop over. Cheap and cheerful
- Delia (9/5): Good value hotel close to Llanelli - Great location for Llanelli and good sized room with a large bathroom with a bath too!
Restaurant was busy due to a quiz night but this didn't stop me getting served promptly and food arrived quickly.
The team here are friendly and nothing was too much trouble My room could have been vacuumed a little more as there were a few crumbs under the desk, apart from that nothing.
- Vanessa (6/5): Overall an okay stay but wouldn’t use a Marstons Inn again. - Property was in a good location close to Llanelli and the Wildlife Trust. The breakfast Waitress was very cheerful and helpful. Property is tired and in need of redecoration. The bed was not very comfortable. Food was okay but large amounts of leftover food from the carvery was left in the restaurant in a bowl. The bar was not always manned and had to wait several minutes to be served.
- Olga (8/5): -
- DAVID (8/5): -
- bryan (10/5): ? - Everything about my stay. There was nothing l didn't like.
- edvinas (10/5): Very relaxing - There is a restaurant and bar on site, very welcoming staff and the service was excellent, Maria is such a lovely lady and we loved it here, our room was comfy, we hope to come back here in the future :)
- Jaame (5/5): - Location and friendly staff. Bathroom should be cleaner. It did have bad smell at bath tub.
- Ella (9/5): Expectations were generally met for the money we paid. - The breakfast was great with a good range of options. The location was perfect for our purposes. Shampoo would have been appreciated.
- Tanya (6/5): Definitely a budget hotel for contractors! - Not much to be honest very dated & needs a good decorating & repairs! Most things!
- Nath (10/5): -
- John (8/5): -
- Besian (7/5): -
- Keita (7/5): Very reasonable. - The price was very convincing with breakfast included.
Additional arrangement like children's beds are very flexibly provided even with a limited room space. The facility was not the newest but clean and comfortable enough.
Breakfast seemed to be run by only two staff, making them too busy and waiting time very long.
- Mel (4/5): - Staff were lovely and very helpful I booked a double ruin and was allocated a twin, this was resolved but took a bit of time. . On 2 or of our 3 nights other guests were smoking cannabis in an adjoining room and the smell was overwhelmingly awful. The hotel said there was nothing they could do to stop it.
- Steven (9/5): Great value and location - Great value. Very pleasant and engaging staff. Easy parking. Breakfast was a bit disappointing.
- Joe (7/5): Average - Location Worst pressure shower ever and no heating
- christopher (10/5): An excellent choice for the 1 night we stayed - Food was good, staff friendly too.
Nice and clean rooms
Good value for money
- Wayne (6/5): - Food was good including breakfast, staff were nice. Room tired, but comfortable noisy road outside throughout night
- James (8/5): -
- Una (5/5): I won’t be staying again - The beds were comfortable pillows were good We could here noise from the room above which was quite annoying
The staff weren’t very good we asked 4 times for a pot of tea
- Diwash (6/5): -
- Diwash (6/5): -
- Nathan (7/5): Sorry a little bit disappointed - Nice and modern like a lovely Marstons inn It’s the little things no attention to detail a bit grubby in places with wallpaper hanging off wall broken toilet seat broken bath sink plug missing black hair sticking around by the shower not replacing the tea and coffee in room being cold not working out the temperature the rubbish bump outside of our room outside the shower was pretty shit
- Georgina (3/5): Hotel reflected what we paid - Cheap and cheerful. We got what we paid for Grumpy staff, dirty bathroom
- Sue (8/5): Comfortable stay… reasonable price - Modern comfortable facilities close to major road networks for visit in South Wales Slow breakfast service. Lovely waitress, but not enough staff for busy breakfast
- jamie (10/5): -
- corrinne (10/5): Stay was fine - Location Perhaps have a tea & coffee machine
- serensapphire (6/5): -
- Philip (10/5): - A convenient spot, great staff
- Kelly (8/5): - Breakfast was very nice, room clean and very comfortable.
- James (8/5): -
- kevin (8/5): - Spacious room Reception was in a different building
- Peter Jamieson (6/5): - Central position, nice outside space, polite friendly staff. Generally , the whole property could do with a good clean. Rooms in hotel could do with cleaning properly, skirting boards dirty, also window ledges.Glass doors leading to hotel very dirty. Hotel bathroom there was no shaving mirror, shower controls very difficult to see, shower curtain too short. I put a review on google, and the hotel manager sent me an e mail, asking me to call to discuss my reviewm I called but he was not there, they said he would call back but up to now, no response. The rooms could also do with some coat hooks to hang out door coats on.
- martin (8/5): -
- Paul (8/5): Great, will stay again - Clean, tidy and comfortable. Close to shops and food outlets.
- CARL (9/5): Nice - Good food and room Clean
- Charlie Louise (10/5): -
- Jean (10/5): Lovely - Lovely room, nice helpful staff, great location.
Only one thing that wasn't right was the disabled toilet was very dirty. I informed the staff of this. My booking was a disabled booking so the toilet we needed was that one. Two things that weren't right were the disabled toilet was very dirty. I informed the staff of this. My booking was a disabled booking so the toilet we needed was that one.
Also, the curtains were off the track in places, so they were not able to close properly.

- merfyn (10/5): Very clean, comfortable and very friendly staff - Clean and tidy Couldn’t fault it
- Craig (5/5): Average, good location - Location was good
Good breakfast however not enough staff Cleanliness of room, requested cot wasn’t put up for arrival, asked again and went out for the evening to come back hours later and still wasn’t in the room, had to go ask in the restaurant again.
- David Howell (9/5): Great location. Amazingly Friendly staff - Location to Scarlets ground was excellent.
Pub itself was fantastic, food good, staff were so friendly and efficient. Liked everything, TV could do with updating so you can get Netflix on it (really no issue though)
Shower could have done with a bit more pressure. Both very minor things and I would 💯 stay there again and will when we revisit to watch Scarlets play again.
- Martyn (7/5): -
- Sean (10/5): -
- Sarah (10/5): Really great stay , gem of a hotel and staff are really friendly and helpful. Jason at breakfast was the best and was re - Really great and clean . Clean and great pub.
- Liam (5/5): Great staff, smelly bedding and towels - The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bedding and towels smelled of fried food. The food ordering app in the adjacent pub failed to work after 4 attempts.
- Gareth (7/5): - Good for 1 night and cost reflected Could do with updating a little
- Susan (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay staff were very helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay again. No cooked breakfast available one morning as no gas.value for money
- Richard (8/5): -
- Lynne (9/5): Cute convenient place - Restaurant was lush and the staff were lovely Room 105 is right in front of the entrance. It is noisy
- Nicola (6/5): Easy to find and clean room. - Clean, comfortable room. Everything worked as it should. Location was easy to find. Staff were helpful, but stressed. I asked for an iron and a board and was not a problem. I liked the rooms were in a separate building to the pub. Check in was deep inside the pub building, not great when arriving on a Friday evening. Had to ask for extra tea/coffee/sugar because the station hadn't been topped up before arrival. Food on both Friday and Saturday evening took half an hour despite there only being a handful in on the Friday. Breakfast wasn't very organised, staff were very distracted on the Sunday morning and playing with mobile phones, hanging around the reception area chatting, and seeing to staff coffees before customer's. Black pudding on both breakfasts were uncooked on the Sunday. Smokers hanging around the main entrance door as my child and I tried to enter in the evenings.
- Nathan (10/5): -
- Ankolekar (7/5): Lovely place to stay. - Lovely room. Good wifi. Friendly staff. Excellent location. Good parking facilities Breakfast- less oil would be better. Would prefer 7 am start for breakfast.
