- Michael (3/5): - It was warm and clean. They gave us a smaller room with only one bed, then they wouldn't give us a partial refund. We were cramped. It was loud at night with kids running in and out of rooms and a mom with a big mouth yelling 'til about 1:30 am. Management said Book.com would have to decide if we get any refund. I will never stay here again and next time I'll call the hotels for reservations.

- Melissa (10/5): Best sleep off the highway - I had been driving all day and wanted a place close to the highway to sleep. I booked a room here. It was the best sleep I had all week. The bed was comfortable, the fan and temperature for me were perfect and it was so quiet!

- Shanedra (2/5): Mariah the manager was a bit** - I have always stayed at Courtyard when I visit Council Bluffs, maybe a few times a mth. I usually go through a 3rd party (hotels.com). This time I went directly through the Marriott site. I was told because I was paying with my affirm I couldn’t go through the Marriott site I had to cancel that reservation an make another one through hotels.com, which I did even tho it was an inconvenience. Her Customer Service was nonexistent. Kenny (the guy in the wheelchair) was very nice an helpful, he was also a lil confused as to why I had to cancel the reservation through Marriott. It ended up being the exact same thing to do when I booked through a 3rd. I’m just really upset that I had to go through that because I wanted my points through Marriott. Ended up getting in my room an it was dirty, hair an dirt on the bathroom floor. The sprinkler head was out the ceiling with tissue stuck in it, an the handle was off the drawer. Kenny made it right tho, he gave us another room right down from the previous room asked me if I needed anything, very apologetic. Didn’t get anything from the devil (oops I mean manager) mariah. First time I have had this problem with them. They have always been very clean an the front desk has always been phenomenal. Don’t know what happened this time but I did call corporate.

We preferred to stay away from “casinos” and found the hotel with great amenities for who we are including a pool, a quiet place to enjoy the outdoors, a very nice room with an extra comfortable bed and close to all the fun.

- John (7/5): Bed and room was clean the common areas needed attention. - Location was good and beds were really comfy The outdoor area was a mess. The chair cushions were stained and the fire pit was broken with garbage littered around it. The front desk staff was in a walking boot using a wheelchair and appeared very uncomfortable and was not hospitable.

The exercise room was large and had a variety of equipment. The pool area was very nice, and the water was not too cold, not too warm. The restaurant and bar area were nice, and the staff were pleasant and friendly. The glasses in my room were dirty.

My kid couldn’t swim the first night of our stay because a large group of travelers- I think a kids sports team- were terrorizing the pool area. The parents weren’t a bit better, as they took up the outdoor patio with loud inappropriate language.
