• Chad (10/5): - Very hospitable and enjoyable. The place is a bit isolated from the central town of San Juan, which means not a lot of amenities. However, the resto is excellent! We had the best food on the island here. The staff is very helpful.

• Matthew (10/5): - This property turned out to a joy. Without exception, the staff were cheerful, helpful and kind. They are led by the owner, a jolly Swiss man who built the resort from scratch. The rooms are huge, with nice bathrooms and decorations. (My only niggle is that the shower was lukewarm at best.) The meals in the restaurant were carefully prepared and very tasty. I would heartily recommend it for a stay that is away from it all and different than most resort.

• James (10/5): - Marcel and Jessica are outstanding and extremely kind. Staff in restaurant outstanding. Place is away from bustle, just what we needed to relax. The building of the office/ restaurant is beautifully done with woodwork. We are so happy we stayed with them.
• Lisa (6/5): - We booked this hotel a day before we arrived. Few hours before we arrived we were informed they would need to change our room had they had booked for someone else long term. The hotel is set by the sea in like a forest which was very pretty. The bungalows the made of wood and very beautiful. The rooms were too dark for to our liking. Unfortunately there to many stairs and uneven gravel for myself has I have a hip problem. We ere only there an hour and my husband's new trainer was stolen and cheers by one of the dogs., We received a food which we never ordered The bread was amazing food options for us was limited. We left after one night it was not for us I am sure it is for others who like being in middle of no where and nothing to do all limited internet. The staff were very pleasant.
• Verena (10/5): - Marcel, Jessica & das Team haben unseren Aufenthalt auf Siquijor zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis gemacht. Sie sind super sympathisch, hilfsbereit und der gewünschte Roller sowie die Fahrt zur Fähre wurden umgehend organisiert. Die Hütten aus Holz sind sauber, durchdacht und gemütlich. Die Lage ist ruhig und das Resort mitten im Grünen. Der Pool lädt zum Schwimmen ein. Das Frühstück und die weiteren Gerichte im Restaurant waren sehr lecker. Bei Ebbe haben wir einen tollen Spaziergang am Strand bis zum nächsten Resort machen können. Nicht weit gibt es ein Sanctuary zum Schnorcheln. Schade dass wir nicht länger hier bleiben konnten. Aber wir kommen gerne wieder :)

• Kimberly (10/5): - Food here is amazing! The homemade bread is great! Staff are wonderful & make you feel so welcome & part of their home. Marcelle & Jessica are wonderful hosts & have built a beautiful home that they love having guests be a part of to share with them. Would highly recommend.
• Lutz (10/5): - This was our second stay at this property as it has become our #1 choice of accomodation on Siquijor. The resort is just exceptional in all aspects of our stay. Jessica and Marcel are the most friendly and thoughtful hosts that we have encountered on our travels so far. The location is close to most tourist attractions.
• Jaymi (10/5): - Excellent service from Marcel, Jessica and the team. Friendly and helpful always, the food is great (especially if you like sinigang) and it is quiet and peaceful. Spacious and comfortable private cabins and large grounds to go for a quiet stroll after dinner. Clean and well maintained, if I could rate higher, I would.
• James (8/5): - The only negative for me is this resort could be physically challenging as there are steps to negotiate between the Accommodation and the Restaurant/Reception. Positives are many. The Swiss Chalet style villas are spacious and the timber work is indeed a work of art. Bed was comfortable. The Aircon works well. Lockable safe. Pool is large and clean. I enjoyed breakfast and dinner and portions are large. Staff go out of their way to ensure you have a pleasant stay. The view from the Restaurant over the water is photo worthy. Be advised there was a $2k peso refundable deposit so make sure you bring plenty of cash. Definitely recommend
• Niels (10/5): En lille perle med top service - Vi 2 gråhårede danskere havde 3 fantastiske dage. Fra græsplænen har du 3 trin ned til sandbund hvorfra du kan svømme 200 m direkte ud til koralrev med kridhvid bund og være heldig at se en stor havskildpadde! Boede i fremragende bungalow, bygget i usædvanlig høj standard, AC med seperat og stille indedel. Egen generator, så Siguijors daglige strømnedbrud er uden betydning. Fremragende køkken og betjening. Helt stille beliggenhed, men blot 3 minutters gang så er man på hovedvejen og kan tage en tuk-tuk ind til byen Larena 5 minutter væk. Schweiziske Marcel, der driver stedet sammen med Jessica har skabt en lille perle! De er simpelt hen godt selskab. 10 ud af 10 hjerter herfra.
• James (10/5): - What an incredibly beautiful resort this place is! Quiet, peaceful, beautiful and the absolute best service! The staff is the BEST! So warm, welcoming, kind and hospitable! If we could have stayed longer we would have. The individual "cabins" are so beautiful and large. Fantastic bathrooms and shower. The food was wonderful! I cannot say enough good things about this hidden gem! If you visit Siquijor, you must make the trip here.
• Timothy (10/5): - Pool was great with large shallow area. Access to ocean swimming. Breakfast was included and was very good. Brought to our porch with no extra charges. Owner Marcel was very helpful with luggage and anything we needed. Very quiet and jungle setting was gorgeous. Hot water in shower and clean new bathroom fixtures. Bed was comfortable and AC worked great. I can't imagine a nicer resort on the island for the price. Only negative was unpaved roads which we encountered everywhere on the island.

• Yvonne (8/5): Quiet and restful - This hotel is rather isolated which we loved. The service was great and staff were helpful and friendly. The food was good too... very large serves! The pool is also very welcome. Important to note is that there are many steps to negotiate so if you have problems with your hips, knees or ankles then maybe this is not for you.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Relaxing Stay - We had no problem arriving late and our rooms were as depicted in the photos. The food was excellent and we enjoyed the pool and garden area. We were also given a late checkout which was much appreciated. The hotel arranged a trike back to the ferry at a very reasonable rate. Definitely recommend for a relaxing stay.

Location (for us) was perfect..peaceful area away from the crowds. Hired a moped for our stay and explored most of the island.. the rooms were quiet and comfortable and cleaned daily..highly recommended

• Francesca (10/5): A little bit of paradise - Kalachuchi is a wonderfully peaceful little bit of paradise. The villas are spacious, there is direct access to the beach, a big clean pool and very friendly welcoming staff. Easy to get anywhere you want on Siquijor with rented scooters from the hotel and then return for sunset pina coladas by the pool, ready to start the next day with some morning snorkelling and feel like you have the sea all to yourself. The restaurant is a mix of good western and Filipino food. The area hasn’t got the touristy vibe of San Juan so if you’re looking to escape that, Kalachuchi is perfect. About 40 mins in a tricycle from Siquijor port and 20 from Larena port.

• baptiste (10/5): A little paradise - Our stay in Kalachuchi was just perfect. The staff made everything so much easier. Need a motorbike? Consider it done. A really early check-in because you took a ferry at 2am, no problem. A massage to relax from your dives? The masseur will come directly to your little house. On top of that the food was delicious and the beds just perfect. We will definitly come back again if we are lucky enough to be back in Siquijor.
• Verified traveler (10/5): A real Island experience - The owners/managing partners and all the staff were all nice, friendly, and professional. My spouse and I felt they genuinely cared about our well being. The property is beautiful, quiet, and quite secluded. The food made in the restaurant (including complimentary breakfast) was delicious and of high quality/freshness. Their kitchen is spotless. We ate almost every meal here during our 12 nights stay. We rented a scooter at the ferry terminal (Siquijor) and hired a tricycle driver to take our luggage to and from the property. It is essential to have a scooter for your stay imo as it would be difficult to find a tricycle once at the property. This property, as with much of the island, have limited to non existent cell phone coverage; so don’t expect to have cell reception. Wi Fi did not work in our first room assignment, but the staff quickly moved us to a room (Sampaguita) that had the strongest Wi Fi, as it was essential for us to have Wi Fi. The restaurant and pool/beach area had good Wi Fi also. Rooms have no coffee/tea, but can be purchased in the restaurant. Room does have a small fridge, and we were provided with an electric kettle upon request to boil water for the tea/coffee we brought ourselves. The corrals in the ocean are about 200 metres from the high tide line, but once you trek out there with your snorkel, it is an absolutely stunning place to snorkel. We enjoyed the tranquility of this place.
• J.C.H. (10/5): Nice stay at beautiful island very friendly staff - Great experience. Super friendly people. Service comes at first. Met the owner, friendly Swiss gentleman living already 41 years in Philippines. Wasn’t busy, only us and two other ladies. Hope more travelers will find this nice place, so they can generate enough income to keep on maintaining this small resort. We rented two scooters through reception and ezplored the island. Great experience. For food the make whatever you like
• Corinne (10/5): Petit coin de paradis calme - une pépite! - Petit coin de paradis calme dans un immense jardin luxuriant, on s habitue très vite a notre bungalow intimiste. Tout est fait pour se détendre pleinement, le personnel y contribue largement. La qualité du service et son environnement en fait notre coup de coeur, notre pépite de notre voyage aux Philippines.
• Lutz (10/5): - Very unique Swiss style accommodation houses with an incredible amount of detail attention in cabinetry and bathroom versatility. The design of the property in itself is unique and there isn't anything left to be desirable. Most of all for special requests the owner is helping in any way possible. For us this was preparing special meals, providing transportation and renting a motorcycle. The beach has a small but impressive coral reef for snorkeling while there's also a fresh water swimming pool with ocean view.
• Angelita (10/5): - Very environmentally friendly , far from the maddening crowd, efficient staffs and management they addressed everything you ask for ; all I can say that they need to hire experienced cook to meet guests’ needs; and more lightings on the property all over !!!

Tout est parfait sauf 2 petites restrictions à savoir une connexion internet très compliquée et la présence de locaux pas toujours très agréables. Pour autant le séjour reste très agréable dans un environnement paradisiaque et une nourriture d'excellente qualité
• Serge (8/5): Très bien mais... - Hôtel agréable, personnel très attentionné mais problèmes de connexion wifi, d'eau chaude. Mer peu accessible pour la baignade et présence de clients extérieurs à la piscine. Dommage !
• Bjorn (6/5): - Nice location if you want piece any quiet. But remote from restaurants and beaches. Must have a scoter to get around but that’s a part of the charm staying at this island. The pool doesn’t look 👀 to good due to not so clear water. Staff was friendly and the food was good.
• Angela (10/5): Morgens sitzt man auf der Terasse und geniesst den - Man wohnt in einem wunderschönen Haus. Liebevoll gestaltet. Genießt im Restaurant das tolle Essen und sieht über den Pool auf das Meer. Ob das tolle Müslu mir Mango ider abends das Züricher Geschnetzeltes, alles ist lecker. Man liegt unter den grossen Palmblättern auf dem Liegestuhl. Wenn msn Glück hat, sieht man in der großen Anlage auch Warane.

• Antonio (10/5): Enchanted place in Siquijor - This place is truly magical. I felt like living in a tree house, but with all the amenities. The staff is friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed the pool and just walking out on the beach. The view is spectacular. We will be back.
• 実 (8/5): - 客室はコテージに泊まりました。ファミリー大人2人10歳子供1人で宿泊しましたが、十分な広さです。 室内も清潔です。 シャワーも水量もあり、温水。 トイレもペーパーもあり水洗です。 フロントやレストランまで森を歩いて行く感じで少し距離あります。(プールも) 夜(日が沈むと)あたりは真っ暗で、何もないので、静まりかえってます。 ホテルの場所が、シキホール港からバイクで1時間ぐらいの場所で、周りには何もなく、本当に何もないです。日が沈んだら、真っ暗なので、日暮れまでにはホテルに帰り、ホテルでゆっくりした方がいい感じだと思いますが、 ホテルレストランも8:30PMでクローズなので、他にやる事もなく、、自ずと夜は早く就寝になりました。

• Verified traveler (10/5): Thank you Kalachuchi - The cabins and the resort grounds were amazing. But even surpassing that, the staff was absolutely great, especially Irly and her team. I wouldve stayed there longer if i had the chance, and i hope to stay there again in the future.
• BRIAN (10/5): MAGNIFICENT RESTFUL COMPLEX - Wonderful resort, great staff, setting, service and peaceful setting in the trees. Great pool, All A1 plus. Lack of vehicle access did not worry us, but could some. SOOOO worth it when you get there, would love to return again.
