- Dzhaveriia (10/5): - I loved my stay at the guest house. The property was beautiful and clean, the location was ideal and they also serve a nice breakfast.
I loved that I was offered tea upon arrival. The host was very welcoming and helpful. A nice, genuine and respectful person. We shared a very interesting conversation.
- Urara (8/5): Good location, friendly staffs and beautiful building - The architecture is beautiful and worth from the perspective of architecture. The location is very good; just few steps from the blue gate. Also Amica, one of the staffs cooked traditional breakfast everyday and I could have tasty and calm breakfast all day in the stay. The bathroom was not clean like hotels. However it’s worth considering the location, nice staffs and the building.
- Sacha (10/5): - Absolument tout Rien
- Gunta (1/5): - i made a booking, then a couple hours later i was asked to cancel the reservation bc the room was supposedly double booked.

- Kerim Nadir (6/5): - Location Cleaning
- Hassan (8/5): -
- Mohamed Mostafa Emera (10/5): - The accommodation is absolutely beautiful, and I highly recommend it to all travelers, whether you are traveling solo or in a group. The location is perfect beside bab boujloud, the place is spotless, and the staff is incredibly welcoming and helpful. Everything was just great."
- SunilKhatri (7/5): Amina the Caretaker was the star of all - The only 2 things I liked,
1. Location very close to Medina
2. The caretaker named Amina, she was sweetest person
3. Breakfast was very good 1. Hot Water was fluctuating you have to wait for 5 to 10 min until hot water is back till then you freeze
- Mohamed (9/5): -
- fRenZo_ (8/5): Right in the Medina - The staff were incredibly friendly, and the location couldn’t be better — just a couple of minutes from the Blue Door. The shower water temperature fluctuated continuously between boiling hot and freezing cold, causing the shower to require double the usual time and water consumption.
- Wilson (9/5): -
- Maria (7/5): Muy bien ubicada - La Riad estaba súper bien ubicada.
- Amal (1/5): - Very disappointing stay. The place was not clean and there was a lot of noise. Breakfast was very late and not good. There was no Wi-Fi, and the room had no private bathroom as shown online. Definitely not worth the money.
- Aberni (10/5): -
- Anas (10/5): - Everything is amazing the host made me feel welcomed and felt like part the family definitely coming back
- Pelin (9/5): Good stay, safe, clean and authentic - The authenticity, architecture, tea service At arrival The bathroom facilities a bit minimal
- Yousef (10/5): - The people here were hospitable , warm , kind and gave a family atmosphere I liked everything it was perfect
- Hoang (9/5): A beautiful stay in a moroccan traditional home. Very decent, staff was very nice. Breakfast starts very late at around -
- Ella (7/5): Great location - The location is right within the heart of the medina and is excellent, especially for its price. The breakfast is also well worth the money. Our room backed onto the reception area and so was unfortunately quite loud at certain times. We also had problems with the hot water in our exterior bathroom.
- Muhtady (1/5): Smelly room and dirty bathroom - The bathroom was not clean and the room was so smelly.
- Marion (8/5): Nice room with a great location. I recommend it. - Location: Great spot in the heart of the medina. Safe during the day and early night. 15 min walk to Al-Attarine Madrasa.
Staff: Staff is very welcoming, kind, and helpful.
Cleanliness: Room and bathroom were clean. Bed is comfortable. - It’s missing shower gel and wifi isn’t reliable.
- You have to wait a long time to get warm water.
- Mouad (10/5): Exceptional - The property was perfect in every way – comfortable, clean, and very well maintained.
A special thank you to Hasna, who was incredibly welcoming and kind. Her warm hospitality really made me feel at home and added a personal touch to our visit.
- Michael (4/5): Overall, it was a disappointing experience. - While the Riad was in a great location just inside the Medina and near lots of restaurants, the pictures did not match the actual property. It was much darker and dingier, and way less spacious than the pictures imply. My two friends and I had booked a triple room and it was incredibly cramped. There was no room to put our things and barely enough space to even walk around the beds. The bathroom was very tiny - the door didn’t even open all the way. It was also a wet bathroom with the shower almost right on top of the toilet and sink, so if anyone took a shower, the entire bathroom remained wet the whole time. On top of that, we were not given enough towels or blankets, and while the receptionist was helpful, the recruit was not always manned. I think in a pinch this place would work, but on the whole I would not recommend.
- Gordon (4/5): caveat emptor - Liked the location.
Having a basic breakfast included. Did not like that they asked for my booking PIN and a false 10* review was up before I could do a real one. Got it deleted and am now belatedly doing this. Maybe just one staff but several of us were caught out that way.
Ps. There seemed to be long periods whilst I stayed there with no staff available to answer door bell. Hopefully these issues have now been resolved.
- Tobias (2/5): AVOID AT ALL COSTS - The absolute worst hotel I’ve ever booked. Took nearly an hour to check in because they were accidentally overbooked. They said there were no rooms I had booked available and instead gave me a temporary bigger room… but the smell in there was awful. I thought it was gasoline at first and got a massive headeache after just minutes in the room. Turns out the walls were freshly painted which I discovered after moving my bags which were now covered in wet paint. As they had no other rooms available I had to book a new hotel, and they still refuse to pay me back for my booking.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Obnoxious service - At night I tried to go out of the hotel to eat out, but I could not open the entrance door with my key by any means. I repeatedly called the contact number but there was no reply. After a while three Moroccan women happened to get down the stairs. I talked to them and they tried to open the door with my key, but in vain. They kindly called the hotel owner and the responsible person was coming here to solve the problem soon. I waited alone in a dark lobby for as many as two hours, but no one came to help me. Consequently, I could eat nothing. A cold water shower ruthlessly pierced the hungry traveler.
Next morning a hotel guy appeared but even he couldn't open the door with my key no matter how many times he might try. He said the receptionist would come here at 9 a.m. to change the keys. Nevertheless, she was late for as many as 30 minutes, not caring how badly the customer suffered. Unbelievably, she went so far as to make a self-centered, violent remark that I, a customer, should have waited and asked some other guest to open the door last night. Additionally, she flatly refused my refund request for cancellation fee for additional stays and passed the buck to me, shelving this hotel's terribly slow support. I have never experienced such a sloppy, obnoxious service in any other hotel.
- Marouan (9/5): Superb -
- Manuel (5/5): Passable - Location, confortable beds, good breakfast even though I missed one breakfast because the host was not there Super expensive for what they offered.
Passive agreesive host.
I missed one breakfast because the breakfast started at 9 am (the breakfast was included), but at 9h15, no one was there to serve it.
No hot water
No shower gel and shampoo available
Paid the city tax, but had to chase her to get the change since she didn't have change for .me
- Dex (8/5): Very good -
- Abdul (9/5): Superb - The location was good and the staff was very cooperative. The bed was not very comfortable and the toiletries were not present.
- Sonja (9/5): Perfect - I really enjoyed the service. Staff was so helpful and friendly. Thank you!
- Kyu (9/5): Not too good not too bad. - It’s typical Riad and it was okay. Room wasn’t ready when it supposed to be.
Insufficient staff.
- Ahmed-cherradi (8/5): Nice home in a great location - amazing location and easy to find , very close to the old city fes el bali and bab boujloud , the room is very clean nothing missey , for my reservation i've found 3 beds 1 double and 2 single ,the team was very helpful and has been treating things in a freindly manner , my check-in was earlier than i expect Next time,I would like to find the breakfast has improved .
- Jorge (10/5): Exceptional - A beautifully decorated house in an excellent location inside the Medina, ideal for exploring the historic area. The room was simple but very comfortable and cozy. The breakfast was delicious, Hassna was very nice and always available to help me with everything, making tea or helping to get a taxi to take me to the airport. Totally recommended.
- Victoria (10/5): - We appreciated that the receptionist met us out on the street when we got out of the taxi and walked us to the riad. The AC and WIFI worked great in our room and we liked hanging out on the upstairs terace in the mornings and evenings. Breakfast is at 9 am and consisted of coffee and traditional bread products and toppings. We enjoyed out stay!
- Raquel (6/5): Pleasant - Good location The bed is not very comfortable, the shower doesn't hang, you have to hold it, the hours for breakfast are not very convenient if you have plans early in the morning
- Clare (8/5): Very good -
- Jake (6/5): Nice stay, the positives outweigh the negatives :) - We enjoyed our stay here and had a really lovely host. She made breakfast both our days which were included in the cost which we loved. Also the location is really good. A very beautiful Riad. The bathroom was a little small as the shower right next to the toilet. Wifi was very slow from our room. Also ran out of toilet paper very quickly and was originally told to go buy some more, which is not easy to find. We did end up getting some from our host though :)
- Detlef (6/5): - Good location.
- Connie (8/5): Satisfied - Excellent location to start your adventures Fez Medina. Next to the post office. The owner is very friendly and cheerful. She prepared us big portion of traditional Moroccan breakfast. No chair and table in the room.
- Connie (8/5): Value for money. - Location is good, at the side of the Medina, next to the post office. Everything is just at the door steps. The staircase and the low door entrance. No chair in the room.
- Rendo (8/5): Very good -
- Mr (7/5): Good -
- Hemn (4/5): Disappointing -
- Arfa (9/5): We recommend it - Great location, the triple room is spacious and a good size for two people with your suitcases open, the bathroom has an exhaust, room has heating, the owners were friendly and went above and beyond to help us while one of our group members was injured, coffee is served in the morning. Our room faced the street and it was pretty noisy at night; if you're a light sleeper try to ensure you get a room that isn't facing the street. The breakfast is quite light and mostly cold things (other than the tea and coffee which are hot).
- Cameron (8/5): Very good - Few better locations for the Medina. 60 seconds from the blue gate. The hostess was helpful, friendly and all round great. Rooms where basic, but your not in Fez to stay in your room all day. Breakfast was basic but more than sufficient. I would use again. No hot running water when I went. But only needed one cold shower during my short stay.
- Apostolis (7/5): Superb location with an authentic vibe! The communication was perfect and the riad manager was also on spot and quick! A - The property is located just a few meters off the entrance of the medina, at a small alley! Perfect for a walk into the sights also close to mini markets and restaurants. It is quite and cosy with an authentic atmosphere! Bonus : as I stayed in January, and reached the ruad at night, I found the AC on and waiting for my arrival! The wifi connection was terrible to be honest. My room was located pn the top floor and besides being opposite a wifi extender, I had to use my cellular data for the night. Which would be typical I am afraid of wifi around Morocco.
- Eva (9/5): Superb - Nice location, great hosts, good breakfast
- Amina (7/5): Good -
- Rishi (8/5): Very good -
- Dickson (8/5): Beautiful Riad at a great location with a very nice host. - Property is really beautiful and neat. The bathroom/toilet was a little small. Also there was no soap.
- Rahim (10/5): - I was staying here a couple of days as I needed to attend court with my fiancée as part of the marriage process. The woman who works at the property is lovely! Looks after her guests and the location is convenient. Right inside the old city near Bab bouljoud. Breakfast provided is also a delightful traditional Moroccan one.
- Su (7/5): Good - The location of the property was amazing, right in the heart of the old town and great breakfast the property is much older than in pictures, bathroom is very small with NO hot water
