• Gilles (9/5): amazing location, great design and the host was super helpful - design was beautiful - awesome stay everything felt a bit used - stairs were quite bouncy / should be replaced.
• Tatiana (7/5): - The place is good for one night stay with everything needed for cooking and resting. The view is great on Akureyri. The heating system is by floor and is sufficient. But it needs to be activated some time before the check-in. In our case we arrrived in the cold appartment. And it took time to heat it.

• Renate (7/5): - Betten und Bettwäsche sehr komfortabel, Schlafzimmer sehr sauber. Schöne gepflegte Terasse, schöner Ausblick. Aufteilung des Wohn- und Esszimmers sehr schön gestaltet und gelungen. Fussbodenheizung im großen Wohnzimmer/Esszimmer ist nicht stark genug, um den großen Raum im Winter bei Minusgraden ausreichend zu heizen. Gläser und Geschirr in den Küchenschränken nicht richtig sauber, ebenso schlecht gereinigte Gläser im Schrank. Hier fehlt die Kontrolle zwischen den Buchungen. Sofakissen nicht richtig sauber.

• Christof (4/5): Tolle Lage, aber gemischtes Erlebnis - Die Lage über dem Fjord und die großartige Aussicht direkt von der Wohnung auf Akureyri an Silvesterabend waren großartig. Die Wohnung ist modern möbliert, mit vernünftig ausgestatteter Küche. Wir hatten zwei Wohnungen gebucht in der Villa Lola, brauchten dann aber nur eine. Es war nicht möglich, mit dem Gastgeber zu kommunizieren. Mitteilungen über Booking.com wurden ignoriert, und ein Anruf wurde abgewimmelt mit einem "Ich rufe zurück", der Rückruf fand aber nie statt. Das fanden wir ungewöhnlich, und auch wenn eine Sprachbarriere vielleicht existiert, hätte man doch höflich miteinander schreiben können. Einfach alle Kontaktaufnahmeversuche zu ignorieren ist nicht wie wir uns unsere Gastgeber vorstellen. Durch den Schlüsselsafe, für den man einen Code bekommt, haben wir auch niemanden vor Ort getroffen. Die Wohnung selber ist hübsch, allerdings sieht man den Möbeln an, dass sie schon eine ganze Weile vermietet wird. Das Besteck und die Gläser waren nicht sauber, wir mussten erstmal alles durchspülen. Das Preisniveau in Island ist halt speziell, aber die Villa Lola buchen wir sicher nicht noch einmal.

• Virginia (5/5): Deludente - Bellissima posizione affacciata sul fiordo con vista su Akureyri. La struttura esteticamente dall’esterno è molto bella. L’annuncio “villa” trae un po’ in inganno in quanto personalmente pensavo ci fosse molto più spazio nell’alloggio o così sembra dalle foto. Noi eravamo nell’alloggio 1. Comodo l’accesso dal parcheggio ma l’interno ci ha un po’ delusi. Il bagno è molto piccolo, il soggiorno è ampio e spazioso ma la cucina non è dotata di nulla in pratica se non un frigo e un piano cottura, penso sarebbe carino mettere almeno a disposizione un fornetto a microonde molto comodo durante le situazioni di viaggio. Il letto è su una zona soppalcata dove però il tetto è basissimo e si rischia di dare delle testate, inoltre quello che dorme sul lato sinistro del letto è attaccato al muro ed è veramente poco agevole salire e scendere. Purtroppo la nota peggiore è stata la pulizia in quanto la casa non era per nulla pulita, sia per quanto riguarda le superfici che per quanto riguarda le stoviglie della cucina . Insomma credo che per il prezzo pagato e l’effettiva bellezza della casa, con maggiore cura ai dettagli e alla pulizia si potrebbe dare un servizio migliore.

• Britta (8/5): Für drei erwachsene Personen war für eine Nacht alles prima - Die Terrasse mit dem phänomenalen Ausblick auf Akureyi. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, im OG allerdings sehr niedrig für große Personen. Keine Spülmaschine. Küche ist mäßig ausgestattet. Wir waren nur eine Nacht in der Villa Lola und haben uns wohl gefühlt. Check in hat super geklappt. Nicht so schön ist der Duschvorhang im Bad und es war noch der Müll von den vorherigen Mietern im Bad. Das Haus ist toll, aber hier und da etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

The only negative would be the noise coming from the other tenants through the shared wall.

• Lisa (6/5): Zu teuer für die Ausstattung - Die Lage und der Blick waren atemberaubend. Ausserdem hat das Haus eine Fussbodenheizung. Die Matratze war extrem durchgelegen und die Küche mangelhaft ausgestattet. Es fehlen einige Küchenutensilien wie Handtücher, ein Abtropfbereich, Zewa, Öl und ein Brotmesser. Die Decken im Wohnzimmer waren dreckig. Wir hatten leider auch eine andere Wohnung als auf den Bildern angegeben. Wir haben eine Wohnung mit grosser Fensterbank zum Sitzen erwartet. Insgesamt stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis überhaupt nicht.

Appartamento bellissimo, cucina grande e provvista di tutto, compreso caffè, moka, sale, olio. Posso dire che è stato il miglior appartamento dove ho soggiornato in Islanda. Peccato non essere stato più tempo, anche perché immagino ci siano stati tanti sentieri da scoprire....Spettacolo. Il proprietario, il giorno dopo, mi ha scritto via email, ringraziandomi e di non esitare a contattarlo in caso avessimo avuto bisogno di indicazioni in Islanda: è stato molto gentile. Non riesco a trovare difetti, tutto stupendamente perfetto
• Katja (10/5): Sehr empfehlenswert! - Das Haus ist wirklich außergewöhnlich schön und hochwertig ausgestattet. Wir hatten den Eindruck , dass die Gastgeber wert darauf legen, dass ihre Gäste eine gute Zeit haben. Wir haben uns extrem wohl gefühlt. Es liegt auf der anderen Seite der Stadt (5 Minuten Fahrt). Dadurch hat man einen wunderschönen Blick direkt aus dem Fenster auf die Stadt.

• Vanda (10/5): Great place to stay! - We stayed in the two bedroom apartment, which is spacious, modern, homey. Nice furnished kitchen, great views. Definitely would recommend.
• Wim (6/5): Helaas niet wat we hadden verwacht - Prachtig uitzicht over Akureyri Interessant hoe verwachting invloed heeft op de beleving. Villa Lola bleek een verouderd drietal geschakelde split level huisjes. En bij superior appartement verwacht je niet dat de schoonmaak steken laat vallen, je de vaatwasser nog moet uitruimen, de enige lamp in de slaapkamer kapot is en het douchegordijn 20cm te kort, waterballet verzekerd.

La struttura è estremamente bella dal punto di vista architettonico, curato l'arredamento e l'appartamento è dotato di tutto il necessario. Bellissima anche la vista! La vetrata è molto bella e scenografica ma essendo priva di tende manca un po' la privacy soprattutto per quanto riguarda l'appartamento in cui abbiamo soggiornato noi in quanto, essendo il primo venendo dal parcheggio, è capitato che gli ospiti degli altri due appartamenti ci passassero davanti. Si tratta comunque di un minimo inconveniente, nel complesso la villa è bellissima!

• Andrea (9/5): Beautiful Design Villa overlooking the fjords - Great design and curation of certain details. We really loved the way the house has been deisgned and how it was decorated. Location is also very convenient and beatuf as it’s just a few km away from the city but still quite secluded. We loved the living area and enjoyed our stay. Good services overall and spotless clean! The house is unfortunately not very functional: small bathroom, small kitchen table and low ceiling in the upper bed area are some examples.

My partner and I loved our stay here for one night. It would’ve been nice if the shower had a place to put our shampoo/body wash on, instead of on the floor. But everything else was perfect!

It lies in a quiet part with a view of the town of Akureyri. The floor and shower weren't cleaned very well. Hair from one of the earlier guests was still all around. Midges in the bedroom. Close the windows!
• Julia (8/5): - Schönes modernes Architektenhaus mit guter Lage! Große Wohnung mit Küche und Wohnbereich. Unkomplizierter Check-in und check-out mit Schlüsselbox. Es hätte ein wenig sauberer sein können (Staubflächen). Keine Aussicht für die Wohnung für zwei Personen im Vergleich zu den anderen Wohnungen nebenan und leider auch keine direkte Terrasse. Nicht ganz so wie auf den Bildern.

• Martin (9/5): - Nádherná designová vila v klidné lokalitě, s výhledem na celý záliv a město Akureyri. Vše čisté, jednoduché, přehledné. Hostitel všechny informace zaslal předem a byl k dispozici. Rádi se vrátíme. Bylo znát, že už objekt před námi pár lidí využívalo podle různých poškození - což není vina objektu nebo jeho majitele, ale nepozorných a neohleduplných hostů.

Trattasi di tre appartamenti affiancati, ho soggiornato nel numero 1 che metteva a disposizione tutto il necessario per cucinare, spazio salotto cucina bello ampio e bellissima vetrata. I rivestimenti esterni andrebbero manutenuti meglio, il soppalco cui è posto il letto risulta troppo basso nell’accesso dalla scala. Molto luminoso con la luce del sole ma in assenza i faretti dell’appartamento non riescono ad illuminare adeguatamente gli ampi spazi di cui è dotata.

Shower needs a good scrub. Tea coffees supplied but no milk. There was reference on the wall to buying beer however none supplied.
• Regina (4/5): Enttäuschend - Aussicht, beheiztes Bad Leider war unser Studio nicht gut gereinigt, auch das Geschirr war nicht sauber. Die Terrasse ist nur geschottert, Ausstieg über das Fenster oder außen ums Haus. Beide Decken für die Terrasse waren stark verschmutzt. Die Galerie mit kleinem Doppelbett ist für groß gewachsene Personen eine Zumutung. Das Badezimmer ist ebenfalls sehr klein, kein Duschgel/Shampoo vorhanden, ungepflegter Duschvorhang, nicht sauber. Und beim Ein- und Ausräumen des Kühlschranks, der sich unter der Treppe befindet, muss man sehr darauf achten, sich nicht den Kopf an der Metallkante der Treppe zu stoßen.

• Bernd (10/5): sehr schön, groß und tolle Lage - waren im Juli25 zu dritt eine Nacht in der Wohnung (eigentlich Reihenhaus) mit den beiden Doppelbetten. Sehr schöne, geräumige Einheit! Gute Ausstattung, super Aussicht, feine Terrasse, alles sauber! Rundum top und zufrieden! (Vermieter nicht angetroffen - rein per App - , aber war alles top vorbereitet für uns 😊) Danke schön! -

• Kim (8/5): Schönes Apartment mit fehlender Liebe - Die Lage ist wirklich super und die Aussicht auf den Fjord sehr schön. Das Apartment 1 ist sehr schön gestaltet und grundsätzlich ist alles da, was man für einige Tage braucht. Der Geruch des Wassers ist fur diese Gegend normal und das sollte man auf Island im Hinterkopf haben. Es gab ein kleines Problem, welches wir aber sofort telefonisch mit Petur innerhalb einer halben Stunde klären konnten. Leider ist das Apartment deutlich abgenutzter als es sein müsste. Es wird etwas vernachlässigt. Man könnte darauf achten, dass nicht überall Macken, Flecken und sonstiges sind. Die schöne Einrichtung wird dadurch getrübt. Außerdem könnte etwas gründlicher gereinigt werden, sprich versteckte Stellen sind oft sehr staubig gewesen.
