Guest Reviews
- Bobbi-Jo (4/5): - Liked the price and location. Didn’t like we had a double bed was suppose to be queen. Was suppose to be a smoking room, it was not. No plug for tub, toilet barely flushed, no coffee maker and no extra pillows.
- Riley (2/5): - Found cockroaches and bed bugs an checked out immediately, I understand now the term you get what you pay for
- Gur (10/5): - Locks , lights dont work
- Ben (4/5): - Dirty loud and quite unsafe
- Gord (4/5): - Rooms need to be cleaned daily
- Lorelei (2/5): - I have photos that show the dirty sheets etc. I also had someone knock at my door to ask for money.
I had an early flight ai stayed there but do not recommend noisy street, dirty rooms and people up all night!!!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Wouldn't stay again - Booked online for emergency 2-day stay. Room was quite dirty (an inch of dust/dirt on top of headboard). It's clearly a motel for certain "clientele" which happens on the back side of the motel and is noisy all night.
- Munawar (2/5): - Dirty and poor service it was terrible
- Patrick (2/5): - Unclean , bed bugs noticed in room.
- JORGE (2/5): - Unsafe zone. Some persons where looking inside of my car. We have to leave as long we arrive. The bedrooms are dirty and in poor condition. Not recommend
- Chris (2/5): - The urine smell in the room was terrible. I could not believe how filthy the sheets, bedspread and mattress cover were. Cannot believe anyone would stay there. In addition the parking area felt unsafe due to the homeless along the building. I am very thankful Expedia Customer Service Agent Mohamud stayed on the chat with me thru the refund process,. Thank You Sir!!
- Bal Bahadur (6/5): - Basic amenities like tv, microwave etc were not functioning properly. More security required due to unwanted stray people - loitering and making noise.
- Dana (6/5): - Not as good as it looks online.
- Amos (2/5): - 😞
- Stephen (4/5): - Dingy room, non-smoking room smelled of smoke, overall run-down place
- Hailey (4/5): - Exactly as all the other reviews say. Not a single sheet or towel was without stains and cigarette holes. Didn’t end up sleeping in the bed but put my sleeping bag on top. Was overall just dirty everywhere. Don’t really recommend but if you understand what you’re getting into then then go for it.
- Kevin (10/5): - The staff is very friendly,I've stayed there a couple times and like it.
- Praise (8/5): - It is affordable and nice.
- Melissa (2/5): - The room was falling apart. Not in a safe area. Would not recommend.
- Kelly (10/5): - We stayed for 4 days, had a smoking room, the staff were very accommodating and friendly. Brought us any extras we asked for right away, extra towels, toilet paper etc. We asked not to be disturbed and that went well. All over, it was well worth the price. If you’re a picky person you’ll find the negatives. That’s on you, if you’re looking for a palace, pay to stay at one. But myself and my friend being smokers, this was really great, we’ll definitely come back!
- Kristen (8/5): - Bad neighborhood
- Johan (2/5): Dissappointed - Place needs major upgrade if all rooms were in same condition as mine.
- WADE (6/5): - You get what you pay for! Never again- cockroaches everywhere!
- Melissa (2/5): - Dirty sheets, insects
- Emilie (4/5): - .
- Tia (4/5): - The guy at the desk was super friendly and kind! We couldnt get into the room as you had to jiggle the key so he came and showed us how to open it.
The room was not overall clean, yes it is dated but it was not cleaned to the extent a motel should be. We found a total of 3 cockroaches in the bathroom! YUCK!!
- Kelly (8/5): - That its in a good place
- Larry (10/5): - Prompt check in.
- George (4/5): - The bed was very hard.
- Denis (6/5): - OK place to stay overnight when travelling, Spartan but clean.
- Jashanpreet (4/5): - not satisfied
- Debbie (2/5): - This establishment is in a very unsafe area, i was afraid for my vehicle being broken into, the staf did not address my concerns and didn't care, this is a rundown and dirty place
- Gloria (10/5): - The location is so central located. Easy to find. Close to everything.
- John (8/5): - Like: Low price, good location, friendly staff.
Dislike: No coffee maker, no face cloths in bathroom.
- Alexander (8/5): - economical
cold room, very old building
- robert (6/5): - pipes rattled and banged all night hard to sleep
- Gavin (10/5): Much better than I expected - Front desk lady was SUPER nice!
I really liked to pool and hot tub area.
Sure the rooms are a bit dated… but that’s reflected in the price. Clean and comfortable.
Reminded me of an old Vegas motel or something.
I’ll absolutely be staying here again.
Starbucks and Tim hortons are 30 second walk.
Nice restaurants close by.
Had a very nice staycation. For a very reasonable price.
- Vanessa (6/5): Quick stay here - For the price … it’s fair. Clean No coffee machine
Room wasn’t cleaned next morning but they did ask if we needed more towels.
- Ramona (10/5): - Convenient location
- Allan (8/5): - close to downtown
- Derek (2/5): - Where do I begin ? I guess you get what you pay for. This place should be condemned The owners should be ashamed of three lives for running such a dump. Flies when I first walk in. The walls like everything else were black. Never cleaned. The bed was disgusting . I slept in my car that’s how bad it was. I think it’s a motel for drug dealers as I saw enough of that right outside my room. AC didn’t work, neither did the wifi. Just there for the football game and then left first thing in the morning. The city needs to inspect this place. Mold all along the ceilings. Fn gross. Don’t ever stay here even if they paid you to
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The room was filthy, especially the bathroom. It is obvious that no one cleaned the walls, door, and top of heater in the bathroom for a long time. The tub had scale built up all around it. I wouldn't even use the shower. I paid for 2 nights and only slept there for 1 night. In this case, cheap means filthy room.
- Qin (8/5): - Decent motel, you get what you paid more.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was average
- Verified traveler (2/5): -
WORST PLACE TO SAY!!!
Dirty rooms, you will find
hais every where on beds,
washrooms and even on
tables. Poor Wifi
connection. Floors were
bad sand dirt everywhere.
Bedsheets were Worst as
they were not Washed and
they were Smelly.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Old, worn out, in need of repair and stinky but cheap.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - There is old and clean and old and dirty this place is old and dirty
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I booked another hotel immediately after I paid and then viewed my severely old worn out and poorly maintained room. Unfortunately Expedia kept me waiting on hold for over an hour, so as of yet I have not got a refund from Coachman Inn as Expedia does not actually offer timely customer support
- Verified traveler (2/5): Bedbugs - The place looks nothing like the pictures on this site. It was infested with bedbugs. Stayed 2 hours, lies down and got bitten up so had to leave and sleep in my car for the night at -28 C
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Motel needs a update; room we stayed in looked like a kid has renovated it. Tap for sink wasn't even attached to plumbing for water to be used
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Had a very bad experience. A family of 20 arrived at 9pm taking rooms all around us. We were patient until 11pm for the kids to calm down. Unfortunately that didn't happen. Went to see the front desk who said they have already asked them to quiet down so I went to my room. Realizing nothing changed I had to go back twice to see the front desk.. the lady ended up coming outside with me asking the people to calm down. I felt uneasy almost scared something would happen to us or our UHaul.. I had ask for a refund this being a very bad night for us when I went back the next morning a man was at the front desk and said he had to note of that.. awfull
