Chidinma (10/5): - Mr. Pascal and the entire front desk staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that I was comfortable. I arrived at midnight and two of the staff stayed late, waited until I arrived and helped carry my luggage to my room. Nothing was too much trouble.
marthakG201PL (2/5): Hotel charged credit card twice without my authorization. They stole my money. :( - Beware of overcharging extra nights !! Make sure you get a receipt upon checking out. I stayed at this hotel back in August for one night and they charged me for two nights. I tried going back and get a refund but the owner was awful and rude. The day I checked in I gave my credit card and was charged for the one night. however, I noticed my card transaction a charged on the 17, and two days later another charge on the 19 when I was already gone. don't trust these people.

Richard (6/5): A day In Lourdes - The hotel was in the center of all the activities. Older but somewhat maintained. The reception was good. We were sold the breakfast for the next day. Let’s just say it was very sparse. Many tours were there, on eating cereal or croissants. They’re no forks on any tables, just spoons and knives. When we were checking out and I spoke about the breakfast, I was told you needed to ask the staff for something else. I didn’t understand why no one asked for anything different, only what was presented. What was presented was minimal.

greeleyt1 (6/5): Great Price, basic accommodations - Room overlooked the river, beds comfortable, balcony was nice. As others have pointed out in earlier reviews this is an average hotel, older. The man running the front desk was very helpful with information and had a very patient demeanor. If you are just looking for a place to crash this will be OK (the shower was the smallest shower I have ever encountered!) Location is fine for visiting the sanctuary.

jasemine (4/5): never again, there are better hotel for the same price - Good position near the entrance of the Santuary, this is the only good think about this hotel. Not very clean, rude waitress, terrible food, room small and very noisy. We have stayed in Lourdes many others time, this was the first and last time at this hotel. This hotel is rated 3 star but all of our group were saying the same think this is defenately maximum 2 star hotel.
MJ_Lowson (4/5): Average - Plenty Better for the Price - I found this hotel to be Ok, - but even thats being very generous. The Hotel is an old building still stuck in the 1950's and although there are some good aspects. Notably some friendly members of staff this hotel isnt worth the money that we paid. There are many hotels in Lourdes for the same price, yet offer greater comfort.
arkcruiser (4/5): Motel 6 at Marriott Prices - This is a very basic hotel. While close to the sanctuary, it appears to be less well endowed than similarly priced hotels in the same neighborhood. It falsely advertises free parking in its garage and then levies a ten euro fee when you get there. The rooms are cramped and while there is a TV, there is no remote control, a problem since the only seating in the room is the bed. The breakfast was the most basic of any during our stay: imitation orange juice (Tang?), rolls and coffee. Seemingly like most hotels in Lourdes, there is no air-conditioning, a problem when the temps get into the 90s! The hotel was not full when we were there (June 2003) yet we were placed in a garret room on the top floor. My French-speaking spouse suspected some anti-Americanism, the only instance of this on our otherwise delightful trip. Even that aside, this is a BAD value. We stayed in immensely nicer hotels in other tourist/resort regions for about the same price.
Experience9930 (10/5): Petra Rules - Hello!! I would just like to let everyone who is thinking of staying at this hotle to do so!!!!! It has the best wiatress working for them. Her name is Petra!!! SHe rocks!!! I went to stay in August of last year when I came as a helper with the Salford Diocese with the sick pilgrims. Our days were long and sometimes we had to rearrange our dinners! They were fantastic with us and did this as and when needed! The rooms are very comfy and the view is very nice!!! If anyone reads this or if anyone is going to stay here any time soon, please say hello from Kelly who stayed in Aug with Fr Duncan and a big group of youth!! We thought of her as a friend and a legend!!!!!! Hope you enjoy Lourdes and the hotle as much as I and my friends did!!! Take Care God Bless Kelly
