Jo Ann (10/5): - Lovely accommodations in a secluded woods, perfectly suited to the culture and pristine landscape of the Border Lakes country. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed and Barbara and Ted were very gracious hosts. We truly did not want to leave! The tiny kitchen needed a little more light but worked perfectly for meals for two.

Alison (10/5): - This guesthouse is a gem on the Gunflint trail. It is about 20 minuets from town. Very quite and cozy. The place is surrounded by woods, you will see lot's of birds and even a Moose!! Barbara and Tom were great to talk to, I learned a lot about the history and the area of the Gunflint trail. We are all ready trying to find a time to go back.

Misti (10/5): Beautiful Gunflint Trail Guesthouse - This is an amazing place to stay on the Gunflint Trail and BWCA. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and it is a truly beautiful, quiet, and unique stay. If you want to stay in a beautiful MN north woods location where the focus is on relaxing and the quiet, natural location, this is the place. The shared kitchen (well-stocked) and deck are beautiful for preparing meals. The owners are very helpful with information on the area. The lake is quiet and beautiful but equipped for canoeing, with no natural beach for swimming. It is motor-free and absolutely stunning and quiet. Truly relaxing! For those who want to experience this beautiful area without staying at a lodge, this is a terrific option!

Sheila (10/5): Lovely long weekend - Delightful stay in the middle of the woods! Got to go snow shoeing in the quiet woods. Very nice B&B with delicious breakfasts. Rooms were nicely decorate and clean. Beds were comfortable. The stars were amazing until we saw the northern lights! Amazing!

They have a lot of knowledge of the area and provided guidance on the things we should do and see. Barbara is also an artist in the kitchen and made us terrific breakfasts that gave us fuel for our adventures. We had an opportunity to spend three days hiking in the north woods viewing beauty. My only regret is that we did not have more time to spend here......
