Das Personal ist äußerst hilfsbereit und professionell. Wir hatten das westliche Frühstück und es war sehr umfangreich, ein Menü mit viel Auswahl und toller Service. - AppletreeGirl (8/5): Wonderful staff, awful pillows! - First off I have to stay the staff here are just a delight! So warm and friendly and will do anything for you - even escort you to the lift and press the button! The hotel is very art focussed, art and installations adorn the walls in the corridors and room. I’m not into art so didn’t mean much to me. The room was a good size, very welcome after Tokyo hotel rooms, and had good aircon. I didn’t sleep well for two reasons - one, the bed is very hard and the pillows are (in my opinion) awful! Rectangular hard lumps of a foam like material - not a feather in sight. The second reason is part of the hotel’s USP - it is built in amongst the tower itself so we had a massive steel girder right across the middle - the worry of either myself or my husband getting up in the night to pee and knocking ourselves out was constant. The bathroom is dark but beautiful. Lovely amenities too. Breakfast was excellent. You have to book a breakfast time slot when you check in as it is a traditional Japanese breakfast cooked just for you. A real experience and beautifully presented as always. Overall as the most important aspect of a hotel stay for me is the bed, I wouldn’t stay here again because of the pillow. Maybe they will get some softer pillows for us softy Westerners!

Minor points: not enough light in the bathroom, and skip the salad in the western breakfast option, there’s already enough other delicious food!

The rooms were small but ultra homey. The mattresses and pillow were of the highest quality. Central location. Wonderful staff that will walk you across the street for your cab. Very fine room service food. A must stay in Nagoya.

- Agnes (10/5): Unique fantastic escape with awesome staff - Style. Modern contemporary artsy boutique hotel, once Japan’s first TV tower, now turned restaurants/hotel by FHAMS design studio Setting. Nagoya Central Park. 40 min from Chubu airport or 18 min from Nagoya airport Explore. Hotel location was perfect for exploring the neighborhood shops, burgeoning local food scene, music festivals and outdoor events. I only wish I got to stay one more night Rooms. Only 15 rooms, one of which is used for art exhibitions. I was in room 3. As I had an extremely stressful week so it was super healing to have this little mini escape @ the hotel. Amazing vibe, kind staff and service, Kano Morishita and the rest of the team were delivering service really @ the level of the Aman hotels. Taxis are not allowed to stop in front of the hotel, but the staff always walked me to the taxi to make sure I got on the right one. Private sky deck access late at night and early morning via a hidden entrance, plenty of cool art work and installations including Yoshitomo Nara’s work. Food & drinks. Hotel has 3 restaurants and is very popular for special occasions, the night I was here there were two wedding parties. They are tons of food options near by and the hotel also helped book good restaurants Prices. $595 Rating. 5/5 definitely hope to revisit ! Can’t think of anything
- Georgina (10/5): Unique hotel experience - Beautiful unique hotel in the Nagoya tv tower with exceptional service. The welcome sweets and the breakfast were delicious. We didn't try the private access to the tower (hours were 10pm-midnight and 530am-730am while we were there) but our room was very spacious with an amazing view anyway. To top it off, there was easy access to the subway and plenty of great restaurants nearby. Nothing.
- French_Explorer (10/5): Amazing Unknown Gem! - WOW! This hotel is unique, unknown and magical! Location is perfect. The place itself is majestic: a former tower! Few rooms, decor so modern and industrial at once. The welcome good & drinks are ravishing, and the breakfast, the best breakfast experience I had in a hotel for at least 10 years! Staff efficient to reach perfection. Extreme refinement in all the details. Came for the 1st time in 2023 and it was an incredible surprise, came again in July and it was even better. What can I say outside of: Absolute recommendation! Yes, just: WOW!

The location was terrific and the park around has a lot of amenities like restaurant, coffee shops, and great places to hang out. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. “Japanese breakfast” was our first in Japan and was delicious and challenging and an adventure everyday.

Do yourself a favour and indulge in breakfast (behind the hidden door!!!) -- you honestly won't find a better one in the entire country. This is one of the best boutique hotels I've ever stayed in. Absolutely nothing could be improved. Bravo.

- H (10/5): A special hotel to stay. - To stay in one of the most iconic building in Nagoya is something you cannot put a price on and the view of the sunrise from the tower which only whom stayed at the hotel is "special". It also is a hotel which provides very nice breakfast using local ingredients. Access by car is not recommended, can't even park nearby. Also rooms are often quite compact without a bathtub.

- Xin (10/5): Exceptional - The fact that I stayed a few nights on a TV tower turned hotel was fascinating. The location is perfect, the hotel is artsy and fun, full of surprises with its secret entrances for elevator to the top of the tower, and to the restaurant. My patio was super neat for inviting a few friends up for a drink. The staff members at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. I will recommend this hotel to all my friends and will definitely stay here again. The shade is not closed tightly at both ends, so the room is a bit bright for me in early mornings.
- Reginald (10/5): - This is a lovely hotel and perfect for a short stay, if saying longer not ideal, room very modern and great view, there is no storage in room, no robe, draws or cupboard, no place to put clothes or personal items, no place for suitcases or to open then apart from the floor. Also no international TV service a few limited Japanese channels. Staff and breakfast great location perfect and very modern room and bathroom, hand basin outside of bathroom in entrance, makes things a little awkward, also no lights to shave. Overall liked hotel but would not choose to stay here again.

The service was above and beyond, breakfast was superb, the location was perfect, and staying in a tower with all the secret doors and special design was a true privilege. A special thank you to the wonderful dining room staff for your gentleness and perfection!
- Mitchell (10/5): - This place is amazing! The service from the staff was truly over the top; by far the most attentive hotel staff I have ever experienced anywhere in the world. The breakfast (included with the stay) was an hour-long dining experience each morning in a dining room, which was also an art gallery, adorned with full length glass windows overlooking Nagoya. The rooms were very large by American standards, let alone Japan. The hotel is located on two floors of an actual tower in the center of Nagoya (The Mirai tower). The Mirai tower itself is a popular tourist destination which is surrounded by bars and restaurants and located literally on top of a huge expansive underground mall filled with dozens more restaurants and upscale shopping (not to mention train stations). Because the hotel occupies just two floors in the Mirai tower, it is essentially a small elegant boutique hotel, in which every detail of the property is hotel property immaculately maintained. I should also mention that the entire hotel is created as an art galley of sorts, and that the hotel staff asked us what we wanted for breakfast the day before each meal (i.e., traditional Japanese, western, special orders) so they could shop appropriately for our individual meal the next day. A five star experience to be sure.

- Samuel (9/5): Overall, this place is a gem of a hotel. - Breakfast was phenomenal. You really can't get better than the assortment and care they give with the menu. Everything is seasonal and sourced locally. We wish we had been better prepared for our trip to the observatory at night. We didn't bring any money for the gachopon. We've also been collecting stamps at the JR and subway stations and the tower had a stamp that we didn't know about. Rather than allow us up through their secret entrance, we had to go the round about way to enter through the ground. They initially said they'd charge us but decided last minute to waive the fee for the second trip.
