Guest Reviews
- Amanda (10/5): Comfortable friendly good location - Bright, newly renovated room. Very comfortable. Probably should have brought my own pillow. Just personal preference.
- Buckett (9/5): -
- Karen (6/5): Good for an overnight stay when the weather is sunny. - Easy to find and well located close to town I was given a tiny house but it wasn’t clear that the bathroom was in a stand alone brick building next to it. Although it was only for your use the fact that you had to go outside in the cold night air was not very good. The bathroom also didn’t have any heating so you froze as soon as you stepped out of the shower.
- hasitha (10/5): Clean, value for money. - Its extremely clean, spacious and great price for such a good little place. Shower is amazing, highly recommended
- Jennifer (10/5): Very happy would highly recommend - Very clean everything you want to be able to have a snack.
Bed very comfortable.
Staff very friendly & helpful.
- Virginia (8/5): Just what we needed for our overnight stay to break the long trip from Melbourne to Sydney. - We like that the property is in a very quiet scenic location and close to restaurants. There's lot of walking areas available if one wants to do some walking. It's a little inconvenient that the bathroom is not inside the tiny home. Having to step out outside and walk to another building for toilet needs can be quite uncomfortable, especially during cold weather.
- Tanya (10/5): - Location, close to town (within walking distance), Amenties and room were excellent.with a very comfortable bed and large bathroom. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Loved our stay! Value for money. Highly recommend! Nothing
- Phillip (9/5): Clean and comfortable in good location - Clean and Comfortable, good central location, easy to get around town.
- Andrew (10/5): -
- john (1/5): - You MUST advertise that this accommodation has an EXTERNAL bathroom
- Kristine (9/5): Nice hot shower & comfortable bed - Well presented. Very comfortable bed & excellent hot shower. Great location Nothing
- justin (8/5): - Really nice, clean and comfortable. Just didn’t like going out to the toilet, just me.
- Saul Leighton (1/5): Gundagai Tourist Suites - an awful place for weary travellers! - Not much. Park misrepresented "high-speed Wi-Fi" on the booking. It was patchy and unreliable.
I asked for my money back and they did not!
DISHONEST place - DO NOT use!!!
Smokers nearby, separate bathroom and toilet (not in my "tiny house") - I could go on.
Just BAD, BAD, BAD! Not worth the price!
- Katie (7/5): Good stay - Comfortable for a short stay, and close to everything you'd need. Weren't aware the bathroom would be separate to the room. Not a major issue however, just a bit cold.
- david (9/5): Woodies from Tassie. - Good clean modern facilities. Spacious. Short walk to restaurants. All good.
- John (10/5): Tourist suite was perfect for an overnight stay and shall return when next in Gundagai - Room was spacious and very clean.

- Tania (10/5): - Friendly staff.
Very clean
Great value. Nothing
- ellen (10/5): - Honestly a super beautiful place to stay.
The staff are amazing and the tiny home is really cosy. Nothing
- Nicholas (8/5): Good stopover location on the way to Sydney or Melbourne - Room was comfortable. Easily accessible property, not far off the motorway, and well situated in town. Could have done with flyscreens on the bathroom window, as a lot of bugs got in.
- Anthony (10/5): -
- Tania (10/5): Comfy clean close and friendly! What more could you ask for - Clean, comfortable and close to Main Street, friendly reception staff very welcoming thank you Nothing
- Kristine (7/5): - Nice comfortable bed Having to go outside to go to the toilet 😵💫
- John (7/5): - Nice little room A bit cramped.
Bathroom detached could be a bit of a hassle for some.
I think it's overpriced because of the above reasons
- Rebecca (10/5): Great overnight stay for us - Communication from the hosts and easy checkin Everything was great. Was cold walking to the toilet but that was expected.
- Bianca (8/5): - Unique experience, tiny home with the bathroom as a private bathroom located in close by separate building (about 3m from the door). Clean, tidy and very helpful and kind staff. The room description had not specified that the bathroom was a separate building, but it wasn't a bother, just an interesting part of the experience.
- Tian (1/5): -
- Helen (8/5): -
- Maddalena (9/5): If you enjoying travelling around the state, this is a perfect t place to stop. - The camp site was well set out, clean and inviting The Tiny Home had an outdoor bathroom - this wasn’t a problem, just a preference
- Lynette (1/5): - Rubbish, worst advertising & a dog wouldn't stay there. How about a refund as we relocated Everything
- Fred (7/5): -
- Elizabeth (8/5): -
- Stéphane (10/5): Perfect for our short stay in Gundagai. - Well organised, modern suite. Super clean and efficient. Excellent value for money.
- Iwan (8/5): Very clean and comfortable place to stay - so close to club and woolworths. - Very clean and comfortable place to stay - so close to club and woolworths.
- Peter (9/5): Really enjoyed our short stay. The Tiny Home was terrific, a great set up with the room, little balcony & easy acces - It was clean, comfortable & very reasonably priced
- Robyn (9/5): A great price for a clean & comfortable stop over. Communication very clear for after hours arrival - Great price for a clean & comfortable stop over The bed was a little small for 2 large adults
- hoong sang (6/5): camp environment is good but facility can be iproved - clean and comforable tiny room it said got private bathroom but upon checking in I was toled I had rented a tiny room with a privated bathroom outside, the operator should give detailed info on website so not to cause misunderstanding later on, not very convenience to walk outside the room for toilet break....
- Alan (8/5): Great place to stay in lovely Gundagai - Great location, very comfortable and well-appointed room (we stayed in a suite), grounds very clean and well-manicured Nothing in particular
- Jodie (8/5): -
- Zong Hao (9/5): -
- Carmel (9/5): - Large, well spaced out and plenty of bench space and good sized bathroom Not enough cutlery and crockery
- Bryan (10/5): Just great -
- April (8/5): -
- Dan (10/5): Friendly and professional services. Great local advice on places to eat and things to see. - Very friendly and helpful staff. Great Service. Highly recommend. Everything was great. I liked everything.
- sharon (7/5): Nice - Clean, comfortable. Close to Main Street. Bathroom outside of accommodation
- Fahd (9/5): -
- Kylie Mac (10/5): - Easy after hours check in with clear communications.
- Nola (10/5): -
- Karen (10/5): -
- Donna (10/5): -
- Graeme (9/5): -
- Sykes (10/5): Excellent value for money. Clean and welcoming. - Clean room. Crisp clean linen and towels. Basic facilities but excellent for a stop over. Close walk to town to pick up something to eat. Friendly staff. Parking right outside room. Aircon. Good powerful shower. Limited crockery, but adequate for our 1 night.
- Rafael (3/5): -
- Paul (9/5): - Small, good size, very clean Nothing
- smith (8/5): -
- Suzanne (9/5): Couldn’t fault - Great location. Within walking distance to Main Street for dinner and essentials. Room very big. Comfiest bed. Lovely, warm room with electric blankets and split system. Large shower, microwave and full size fridge freezer. Would highly recommend and we’d stay again.
- Alison (9/5): -
- David (9/5): -
- Warwick (7/5): Compact space, marginally workable with outside bathroom - Convenient location, centre of town. Near shops and club. Private. Nice to have a private drink at own outside bar. Compact. Very small, almost cramped. Nowhere to sit to watch TV, except on bed. No sofa or comfy chairs.
Outside bathroom is a challenge - especially in the middle of the night to take a pee, when it's freezing cold.
- Jeffrey (8/5): Tourist Suites, queen room was very spacious and clean. One of the better motel rooms I have stayed in. - Clean, spacious and good location.
- Kiran Kumar (8/5): -
- Kirsty (10/5): - Beautiful & clean room and comfy bed - easy walking distance to town.
- Sandra (10/5): It was great nice and quiet - Love having a little kitchen with the sink rather than having to go to the bathroom for water. Nice big room Nothing it was all good
- Linda (6/5): Disappointing with the outside ensuite - The cleanliness The bathroom appeared to be in the cabin but was outside and separate. As an older woman travelling alone it was uncomfortable to go outside in the dark to use the bathroom. This should be clearly stated in their advertising
- Tim (7/5): Good enough. Good concept. - No Direct connection to bathroom
- KAREN (7/5): Overall it served the purpose but would book a cabin next time. - The location was great and the accommodation was very clean. I was disappointed that the bathroom was located adjacent to the room but not inside the room as it was freezing cold outside. Going by the photos on the website I thought I was booking a room with an internal bathroom.
- Greg (9/5): We would recommend this property for a stay in Gundagai. - Well equipped clean and comfortable accommodation with easy walk to Main Street and eating options. Our mattress was a little too hard.
- Buckett (9/5): -
- Raine (6/5): Disappointing, but ok when the problem was sorted. We had quite different expectations to what was - A two bedroom cabin was available, after a problem with the original booking. The Tiny House has an detached bathroom and this was not stated in the booking.com screed about the property. This was a disaster for us as I am dis-abled enough that i am not able to wander up and down steps outside my unit to reach the bathroom. This fact that it is an en-suite and not a private bathroom inside the accommodation should be made clear. It was fortunate there was 1 two bedroom cabin left, so we could stay, but otherwise we would have had to forfeit our payment and try to find two rooms in a small town during school holidays.
- Lizzie (5/5): Okay; no glaring issues but not particularly comfortable - Range of eating / food preparation implements Partially user error but I believe it was also intentionally misleading the difference between between ‘rooms’ and ‘tiny homes’. I was expecting a regular type of cabin but was greeted by a tiny home with a seperate out-house style bathroom
- carol (8/5): Enjoyable for a short stay. - Very clean and compact, enjoyed our overnight stay in the tiny home. Enven though it was outside of the cabin the ensuite was undercover and private.
- Catherine (6/5): Good stop over for travel between Sydney and Victoria. - Clean and convenient. No breaks on the bed wheels in tiny house. If either of us sat up in bed the bed rolled out across floor. Fine if lying still but I like to read so sitting up is a comfort that would be appreciated.
- Anonymous (8/5): -
- Stephen (9/5): - Cleanliness Not applicable
- arthur (9/5): -
- Mary (9/5): Clean great service - Yes Yes
- Guest (9/5): -
- Sarah (10/5): -
- Sarah (10/5): Perfect stopover for our drive from Melbourne to Sydney. - Lovely spacious room, clean and fresh. Had everything we needed for a stopover. Smart tv, nice shower, tea and coffee, microwave, full size fridge, extra pillows. Location great, just a short walk to town. We would definitely stay again. **This is the review for the queen family room (double and single beds) our daughter stayed on the tiny home** Very small thing. Hairdryer ‘on’ button had to be constantly pressed to stay on.
- bronwen (10/5): Good transit stop, clean and simple. - Very clean, good sheets and proper duvet (not those hideous motel weird plasticky bedcovers), modern bathroom. Easy to find off the freeway, short walk to Woolworths for supplies. All was fine.
- Michael (8/5): -
- Emily (10/5): -
- Nadia (10/5): -
- Peter (8/5): - What breakfast Bed too hard it was hard to get comfortable
- Rebecca (10/5): Wonderful place to visit. Family friendly and relaxing - Clean, quiet and relaxing Nothing
- Michelle and Paul (10/5): Spacious, clean & comfortable room with parking directly out the front and an easy walk to town. - Spacious comfortable room with parking directly out the front of the room. Noisy air conditioning.
- Meryl (10/5): So handy,so clean! - The location was ideal we usually stay at Yass - but not any more.. this is such a well organised and has a range of accommodation options for all travellers including motel rooms, under cover caravan spots with private ensuites and others.
There are also historical places of interest in town.
- Plonie (8/5): Very pleasant. - We stayed in one of the tiny home. It was private and clean. There was not a huge amount of space for 2 suitcases but not such a big deal for a one night stay.
- Stephanie (10/5): - simple and clean nothing
- philip (10/5): - I’ve just done this
- Bright (7/5): - Great location and suites ideal. Unfortunately there was a musky smell in our suite. Not sure what it was. The suite was however clean and we opened door to air it out. Might be worth checking.
- Estea (10/5): -
- Cameron (8/5): Great overnight stay on a motorcycle trip and able to park the bike under cover which is a bonus - The location is quiet and an easy walk to town. The staff are great and very helpful. The tiny homes are great for a solo traveller and maybe a couple, with parking right at your door and a nice little balcony to sit on for an evening drink The bathrooms are separate from the tiny homes but are right next to each one and clean
- Sandra (10/5): We would definitely stay there again. - Communication from the start was excellent. After hours check in went perfectly and the room was really comfortable. Nothing to dislike
- Richard (8/5): - Very beat and clean little unit. Would stay again
- Jean (8/5): Convenient stopover - Convenient stop over Quite bland
- Kaye (8/5): -
