• Derek (8/5): Very enjoyable location - Great location close to the ferry terminal. Quiet street looking across the water to Cumbrae. Very generous supply of tea/coffee etc. No major issues. Some refurbishment needed but that is a minor negative.

As for Shauna .. she is the BEST: she was personable, friendly, interested and even booked our meal reservation; she provided invaluable information about Largs and we will definitely be back to stay! ❤️ Nothing
• Harry (10/5): A lovely place to stay for a couple of days, very close to the Largs ferry and all the town facilities - The proximity to the town centre and the view of cumbrae and arran. The host Seona was excellent and we were able to share old memories of Largs. Breakfast was exceptional although neither of us had the cooked breakfast, there was plenty of fruit and yoghurts. My only concern nowadays is about fire safety it is an older property and I am not sure about standards

• Sharmila (10/5): Welcoming and cosy - Seona is a wonderful host, very welcoming and attentive. Broom Lodge has loads of character and is a proper seaside guest house that is still her family home. It's location is excellent, right on the promenade between the Pencil and town centre. Great sea views from the breakfast room and front rooms. It's unpretentious and feels homely and cosy. Breakfast was really good. There was nothing to dislike. The only additional thing I would appreciate would be a guest fridge

• Ann (9/5): We arrived late on a wet, very windy night to a very warm welcome from Chloe. Breakfast was lovely my granddaughter love - Chloe was amazing, such a happy host. Made sure we had everything we needed extra hot chocolate and biscuits. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Location 10/10

• Angela (8/5): Fantastic location with.a lovely host who will do everything to make your stay the best it can be. - The location was unexpectedly amazing, and the owner, Seona, allowed us to park on the private driveway. She was amazing and nothing was too much trouble. As it was out of season, it was very cold, so Seona provided us with additional electric heaters to warm the room before the heating came on. She runs the house singlehandedly, and cooked us a lovely breakfast in the morning. The room felt cold and damp when we arrived, and we couldn't get any hot water out of the sink in the bathroom, until the heating came on at 4pm.

• Justtwoofus (7/5): Good place for trips out to local islands. Near the town. Welcoming host. - Comfy beds, helpful host, right on the sea front. Shona had lots of local information including recommending a couple of ferry trips to nearby islands. Plenty of provisions in our room too. Shower room was very small and the shower cut out occasionally. No internet access in our room...apparently the "take up" was full. We could get online downstairs in the dining room.
• Martin (8/5): A friendly well located B and B with a fab view - Great location, 10 minutes walk from town, and a wonderful view. It was quiet too. Very friendly and helpful staff and a lovely breakfast with a selection of fruit. We enjoyed the house and furniture. Good value for money.
