- large (1/5): The place was absolutely disgusting and definitely would recommend people to not book here - Absolutely nothing the place was a state, we ended up leaving and booking somewhere else The dirtiest state it was in
- Ellis (8/5): -
- Pauline (8/5): - The Beckwood is cheap and cheerful. It is basic but rooms are double, ensuite, have a kettle, tea, coffee, and towels.
It is only a few mins walk to the beach, the fair and South pier.
- Rebeka (7/5): -
- Lee (1/5): - Absolutely NOTHING THE WHOLE PLACE ABSOLUTELY HEALTH HAZARD. DIRTY UNSECURE JUST EVERYTHING

- Pamela (8/5): Comfortable clean room - Location
- Ripsaw Phalanx (2/5): Could be better - The location is fantastic, right next to everything that I need! Also, I actually stayed in the Golden Strand, because I got double-booked into the Beckwood! Fungus on bathroom ceiling making me ill. I'm actually ALLERGIC to mould!
Staff was rude this morning when I checked out, slamming the door in my face! Wasn't the regular landlady, think it was the daughter
- Maureen (1/5): Do no stay here - Nothing The family room was filthy on arrival. The ceiling above the bunk bed was in a dangerous state — it appeared to be falling down and had been poorly patched up with tape that was hanging off. This raised serious safety concerns, especially in a room intended for a family.
Additionally, at check-in we were informed that our family would be split across two separate buildings, which was not communicated at the time of booking and was highly inconvenient.
To make matters worse, the double room in the other building appeared unclean and looked as though someone had already slept in the bed, which is completely unacceptable from a hygiene and housekeeping perspective.
Overall, the cleanliness, safety, and organisation of this stay fell far below an acceptable standard. This experience caused significant discomfort and inconvenience for my family.

- Kelly (1/5): Terrible it should be closed down dont go there - Nothing it was so cramped and small and there was bed bugs and we got bit we only stayed 1 night its was disgusting uncomfortable bed definitely not recommended Everything because there was bed bugs and it was just cramped and they greeted us with no shoes on or no socks on it was moldly i would never recommend this hotel
- demi (1/5): didn’t even stay - nothing they transferred us without telling us we turned up and were told we weren’t staying there anymore didn’t even bother contacting us, but thank god we didn’t have to stay. it had a horrible smell when we went in and just an overall weird vibe. definitely do NOT recommend!
- Cleo (1/5): Had to get moved to different hotel in the end as police were there everyday as people who go missing tend to book these - Absolutely nothing The staff were rude I texted asked for a few thing and never got back to me back walls passed you with a smile
- Marcus (1/5): Dissatisfied - Nothing The staff were unprofessional, the room was dirty full of damp and mouldy. The shower stopped working and they didn't fix it in a timely manner, it was genuinely very unkempt and wasn't anything like that photos. A very unpleasant stay!!

- Jemma (3/5): -
- Patrick SC (1/5): Vaya tela...
- Etchells (10/5): - Very clean very friendly staff . I recommend this place for anyone visiting blackpool.

- Oleksandr Tubulkan (5/5): -
- Ripsaw Phalanx (9/5): Good & conveniently located - Lovely hotel with lovely owners on my favourite street in Blackpool! My room was a bit chilly, and I don't know how to work those heaters
The WiFi signal is a bit rubbish!
- Samantha (1/5): Wouldn't bother - Could leave as early as possible Smelt damp, top floor room window wide open on arrival so was absolutely freezing, absolutely terribly decorated, was riddled in damp, no bar facilities as advertised, no welcoming arrival.
- Craig (7/5): - Location friendly staff good sized room No hot water but kettle there ,no heating
- Andrew (8/5): - The accomerdation was excelent for the price. Staff were friendly and it as clean.
- Fiona (6/5): - Location Very small room
- Tommy (6/5): Visit to blacpool - The staff where decent people, near to public transport and restaurants, and entertainment right next to the fun fair , Person above my room was quite noisy ,seemed to like running about up and down the room, and banging around,
- Elaine (3/5): -
- Hall (2/5): -
- Mills (9/5): -
- Mcleod (4/5): - Staff was friendly and helpful Smell in bedroom, no heating, had to ask for heater and had to ask for television as the one in room wasn't working
- Kirwin (1/5): Dirtiest room ive ever stayed in - Hard to find anything good about the place. Ive stayed in cleaner prison cells.room was disgusting, lots of hairs in plug holes,1 window wouldn't open,1 window wouldn't close.
- John (1/5): Awful! - I have never been so upset on the disgusting room. It was filthy. It was damp. It smelt horrible plywood, wood, wardrobes and no door on was screw sticking out. It was awful. I would not entertain going back there. The money I paid was disgusting for the room o I had three rooms What didn't I like? What did I like? There was nothing I would like to say. I've even took photos of the place
- clare (10/5): Lovely staff . Everything u need x - Cheap . Not far from beach and corner shop x
- Shelbee-Dale (1/5): Wouldn’t return unless has refurb - It was close to the sea front and cheap enough 1) VERY Unclean
2) Mould growing in windows and frames (we have come home poorly, partner had to take rest of week off work)
3) Blood on heater and dresser/desk.
4) bits of food etc on carpet
5) ceiling breaking apart in multiple places including above headboard (looks like damp)
6) kettle had bits and tiny bugs inside nevermind the line scale
7) the place had a funky smell to it, kind of chemical like
8) shower floor felt unsafe and shower head dirty
9) broken bed springs
- Stacey (7/5): Perfect for a short stay, cost was reasonably. - Clean and quiet, close to the pleasure and south pier. The decor could do with updating and bunk beds are a very sqeaky.
- Gary (1/5): - Nothing to like Everything bathroom door handle issues cold room no heating on ..no thing to make a hot drink .
- Zara (4/5): Wasn't awful but needs improvement - . taff were friendly however and there's a paper shop and wetherspoons nearby. Bed was uncomfortable, doesn't help that there is no headboard and the pillows are resting on the radiator/window sill. There was also no hand soap available, so toiletries are not included as advertised. Television remote didn't work but at least the TV had some buttons so it wasn't completely useless
- Matt (1/5): -
- atherton (8/5): -
- natalie (1/5): We never stayed are legs couldnt get us out the hell hole fast enough - We took one look in the room and walked out it was horrific AVOID Everything the place needs shutting down asap bed wasn’t made from last guest you could see were they had been sleeping if it stunk rotten human hair all over bed honestly I thought I’d arrived in hell i couldnt wait get back home for a shower please don’t let the photos fool you it looks nothing like that please do not book with children it will make them ill

- Steve (1/5): Walked out, never stayed - Shithole, would not let a dog sleep there, i was better off in my car. Everything
- cave (1/5): Cramp - Very bad conditions our bedroom was very disgusting and also the people who run this business really do need to update all of the property in side and outside. Totally disgusting place to stay. I wouldn't recommend anyone else to stay in your property. Our bedroom was disgusting please for anyone who stayed at this property
- Lizzie (1/5): Awful disgusting unsafe!! - We didn’t like anything about it at all very very disappointing!!! Everything we really don’t no where to start, everything was all just so damaged and run down and dirty we literally turnt up and left straight away and booked somewhere else windows or door didn’t lock properly, holes in walls dirty and bathroom was horrendous felt very unsafe!
- Michael (1/5): We walked in it was filthy and stunk we had to leave no way I could stay there - Nothing Everything was dirty smelly and people should not be allowed to stay there
- Charanjeet (7/5): -
- Michelle (3/5): Disappointing - The shower curtain was full of mold at bottom, bathroom was dirty, sink was cracked, windows looked like they had never been cleaned. Bed was very small for double, pillows had seen better days. The door to room looked like someone had kicked it in at some point. There was bits on floor it needed a clean. The bathroom smelt like damp. The wardrobe draw had what looked like sand in it. We saw the lady on arrival but not once again during our stay. Definitely the worst I’ve ever stayed in in Blackpool Was very dirty! Wasn’t anyone around to speak to
- Samantha (1/5): - Staff very polite always asking if there was any thing they could do for you.
Can not fault the staff at all.
It's ideally situated if you are going to the pleasure beach. The room wasn't 100% clean, there where no towels or soap to wash with. When we left the room, the toilet was clean, when we return there was poo in it.
There was a small leak and the floor was wet.
The bedding smelt like maneuver didn't dare get under the blanket just laying down you felt like you were being bitten. And the beds weren't the most comfortable.
The floor felt damp under foot, and the ceiling look like it was going cave in from previous leaking problems.
Just great full there was no rain when we were there.
- Prior (8/5): - Room was good for the price but a little basic had everything you needed didnt spend alot of time in it
- Philip (1/5): Had to buy new bedding and pillows to cover bedding as it was unusable piss stains everywhere not fit for a dog - Location Nothing
- Samantha (10/5): - Very good location. Staff friendly
- Joanne (1/5): -
- Abuo (4/5): - It’s close to pleasure beach and the beachfront It was smelling bad in the room, all the furniture was old and worn out can use a change. The shower needs a new control panel between hot and cold and there was not pressure at all on the shower
- Katlyn (1/5): Awful - Good location They didn’t give what asked for , was absolutely terrible, wasn’t clean
- Ryan (5/5): -
- Dominic (8/5): -
- R (1/5): - Literally nothing The owner lied about wi fi, room was messy literally worms visible on carpet, no kitchen and smell of sweat everywhere
- Alix (5/5): - Staff were friendly. Games room. Staff were accommodating. Could do with a makeover. Be good if they did breakfast.
- Joe (7/5): -
- Jessyty (1/5): - Nothing Dirty, damp. Felt unsafe
- Lina (1/5): Not happy - Only location After we checked in we went to our room and lay down on the bed, in 5 minutes all of sudden very small bugs all over on our body and immediately started itching.
The carpet was very dirty. The bedding was stained.
Immediately I leave the hotel in less than 10 minutes and book another hotel.
The guy who was in the reception offered to speak to the manager however, our skin has been itching and still some of bugs not rid off so we can’t wait for anything and rushing to leave the building!!
