Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (2/5): - What they did was unethical. They should have paid the difference in the apartment that we ended up in, which was twice the amount that we had paid already.
- John (2/5): - I will be contacting Expedia for a full refund as apparently this property
no longer exists.......A refund for this as well as for the room we had to scramble for and find for the night.
- Jeff (2/5): - I arrived at Greens End hotel after a 35 GBP taxi. It was not 2 miles, more like 16 miles from airport. It was 2 miles by air but not by road around the river. Anyway it was a terrible area. The hotel was just a door in the wall. Nobody answered. I looked up the number online. A guy answered and gave me some story about moving and renovating. He told me to walk down the street and meet him at the train station. He finally appeared and then told me to go down the street with him. All the things he said did not make sense and combined with the bad area made me feel unsafe. So I just refused to follow him.
There were two other people there for the same hotel in the same situation.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very helpful and friendly staff, clean, good location
- Christopher (8/5): - This is a clean hotel with spacious rooms. It does have a quirky entrance (including stairs), atypical of what one thinks of as a hotel entrance. But once you get past this surprise, it is a good place to stay.
The room had coffee and tea available - always appreciated.
This appears to be and up-and-coming neighborhood - but we felt safe walking around. There are pubs, restaurants and fast food within walking distance. Very close to the train station.
We would stay there again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It’s all about the price. I got a spotlessly clean, reasonably sized room for a very good price.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The good: comfortable bed, spacious room.
The bad: one could slide an Italian-style pizza in under the room door. In combination with the fact that the hall lacks carpeting, this means you'll hear every step and syllable outside loud and clear.
- Phindile (10/5): - I enjoyed my stay, the receptionist was very nice and the housekeeper.Very clean and good service.Thank you
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The hotel was very clean and presentable. Check in was quick and straightforward.
- Anne (8/5): - Everything looked nice in the room on arrival, there were a couple of things though to complain about: - no light above the only mirror in the appartment in the bathroom (important for women who does their makeup).- Bathroabs for the guests? More than 3 clotheshangers in a room for 4 people? -Where are you supposed to put your jackets and so when U arrive? -A sign for your hotel ouside. - Broken furniture.
- Edward (8/5): Woolwich stay - Clean and comfortable with friendly service. Very close to Woolwich Arsenal DLR.
- David (8/5): Nice Clean Modern Accommodation - This is a great place to stay. The rooms are excellent modern and large. There are plenty of choices of food and drink on your doorstep, and after 4:30pm you can park on theadjoining street for free
- Liam (6/5): - So it’s just over the road from the tube or train stations and buses, that’s great however it’s not easy to find!! I walked up and down the road 4 times and took a punt on the door with a doorbell , turned out that was it! I had a suitcase and there’s no lift so had to lug it the stairs a bit frustrating but hey ho. Room was big and warm but not the cleanest, had trouble locking my door! Had to ask for the WiFi code at the office, luckily someone was manning it, no mention of it in my room. Shower was good.
My main issue was in the morning. No one manning the office so couldn’t check out to anyone, nowhere to leave your key etc, there was two mobile numbers on the office door, one switched off and the other just rang out when I phoned them. Plenty of places to eat and drink in the area. Not a bad place to stay if you were using city airport the next morning. The bloke who was there when I checked in was very polite
- Philip (2/5): - Fire escape and main exit locked. Had to phone to get heating turned on.
- kamran (10/5): - Nice clean friendly place to stay
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It's a decent place. But there wasn't parking as advertised so I had to pay for it
- Julian (6/5): Acceptable, should be cheaper really. - I paid £65 for one night. It was the closest hotel to my work that was not fully booked (or a hostel). I think it's over priced, it has a shared bathroom with 3 other rooms. It didn't affect me, I used the shower at 7:00a.m with no problems. Could be annoying if you need to go and it's occupied though. Something to bear in mind. Property was clean. The entrance is between the Wimpy and the Money Shop. It's not clearly identified that this door is for the hotel. Also, the wifi had no internet connection and there was nobody on reception when I left in the morning.
- Karimul (10/5): Budget value hotel great for the night! - Well overall the layout the design of the room was very very good for the price I paid staff very friendly and complementary shower items left brilliant. However I feel as if the bed was not so comfortable and duvet irritated my skin slightly but overall room was brilliant clean no complaints from me and.
- Kim (8/5): Nice stay - Stay was nice although the tv in my room did not work. Plenty of local free parking on the weekend.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Nice room - Hard to find - It is difficult to find as there is no sign on the outside and there is nothing indicating that there could be an hotel behind the door. It is also a dodgy and animated area where it is difficult to ask for information.
Also it is not clear where the parking I.. I ended up going to a nearby car park where I paid for.
However, once in the room, the room was nice, spacious and clean.
