- Dani (10/5): Highly recommended guest house - Easy to check in. Hosts are absolutely amazing and so helpful. Free to go whenever I liked. Room was spacious and clean bed was comfy and clean and had everything I needed provided for my stay x Slightly cold but that's the only tiny issue.
- Robert (9/5): -
- Shaun (3/5): Cold damp not clean and place needs a good clean up and painting won't be recommending to anyone . - Staff was great .beds was clean but only been clean once there had to wait to check in supposed to be 3 o'clock didn't get i till 4:15 roo. Was terrible dirty walls and holes in roof and very cold front doors don't get locked at night very bad experience The rooms need a lot off doing up very poor hole in roof and walls need a good clean and definitely a paint and smells very damp . Had no tv remote for tv and carpet was dirty too disappointed in all the place .
- Lucy (4/5): I mean, I paid £40 I wasn't expecting anything amazing but at least a cup - The beds were comfy No cups or glasses in the whole hotel and when we asked we were told that the manager was on his way with some, still didn't get any.
One toilet for all guests which was disgusting and when we arrived it was broken and told to use next doors hotel.
you get what you pay for
- chantelle (1/5): Do Not Recommend To Anyone - The location and you could come and go when ever you wanted. Where do i start… was booked into this BnB but was put next door. The room was awful and well out of date. The host was okii but smelt of alcohol when I arrived. Added just some of the pictures I took
- Adiele Valentine (1/5): Very ugly experience from both the staff and the rooms, toilets and bathrooms - I didn’t like anything about the property, in fact the property ( toilets and bathrooms and bedrooms are different from what you see in pictures) was in ruins with dirt and offensive smells I didn’t like anything about the property, in fact the property ( toilets and bathrooms and bedrooms are different from what you see in pictures) was in ruins with dirt and offensive smells

- Reannon (1/5): We didn’t stay it was that bad - Nothing nice to say about it We arrived expecting to stay two nights, it’s nothing like what’s advertised. There was dirty laundry on the floor as you walked in through the door on arrival, there’s mould on the walls, the walls are cracked, mattresses are stained. Look out the bedroom window there was around 50 rubbish bags on the floor, it was a hazard, we didn’t stay there after seeing what we walked in to. We are a family of 4 and it wasn’t safe for the young children.
- Tony (10/5): -
- Mohamed (1/5): - Location Not clean
- Carl (3/5): - View from room looked over dirty back yards Smell of cannabis gave u a headache and made u feel sick it over powered the air freshener we sprayed in the room
- Laura (1/5): Did not stay - Nothing did not stay in the end had to pay out for another hotel absolutely disgusting and still fighting to get our money back Everything the rooms were rotten, beds were broken, damp and mould in the rooms. The rooms and building smelt of weed and it looked like a crack house
- Sarah (1/5): Shit hole - There was absolutely nothing about this place that I liked. It needs closing down.
On arrival women who manages it left us outside with 4 cold crying kids, told us she was checking our booking even though we had paid in advance. She then appeared 20 minutes later, next door. So had been close by the whole time. Talked about her own situation instead of telling us where we were sleeping. At this point I'm angry. She then proceeded to tell us our single room wasn't ready, we never even received the keys to it then found out someone else was staying, so we basically paid for someone yo stay in the room. The whole hotel was absolutely dirty all the way through. Plugs and radiators hanging off walls. Toilet was dirty the shower had an actual curtain on it not a shower curtain. She gave us the wrong key to get back in to the hotel later on the evening so we were stuck In the cold with our children. Absolute dog hole. All of it
- Emma (1/5): G sort it out - Nothing Everything
- Jack (1/5): Not great at all - It was not possible to stay here I literally had been there 5 mins called a taxi and left There was a kettle but no plug socket a tv but not working wall to wall bed the bedding was stained but I guess I didn’t pay much so can’t expect anything else just couldn’t stay
- Lewis (10/5): -
- Haydn (7/5): -
- Tariq (1/5): - The room was freezing cold, the floor boards were very loud just by a simplest step ,the host didn't offer to turn on the heating or provide a heater after calling just for them to not answer and dispiriting messaging about turning on the heating and having the text message read to be met with being ignored, the toilet was extremely small wet and dirty and no light requiring you to use your phone torch, the shower was extremely small and very poorly maintained. The whole feeling was like being in an abandoned home nothing about it was good even though it was about £70 that was too much for it if I knew the reality of it I wouldn't have spent a penny to stay one minute there
- Kyle (3/5): -
- Daniel (4/5): Cheap but sadly not cheerfull - Close to the seafront Only one toilet servicing 3 floors, beds were very uncomfortable, unpleasant smell in the hallway
- david (10/5): Peaceful and beautiful guest house. - BEAUTIFUL GUEST HOUSE, VERY FRIENDLY STAFF AND IN CENTRAL LOCATION NEAR EVERTHING, 10 OUT 10 FOR ME. Nothing to dislike
- Astle (1/5): Please, please, please stay away!! - It was close to prom We booked 2 rooms, family, 2 babies. Left to wait in the disgusting reception for 2 hours to be told our 2 rooms were double booked, not just happening to us but to other guests. Booked this in advance for the Blackpool firework championships, so every otherhotel was booked. Ran by a lady in the hotel next door, rude, drunk and arguing with her partner the entire time we waited. Used the hotel toilet, words cannot describe thw condition, shame because its a great location, no view out of reception room window as its beyond filthy, otber guests staying there told us there was blood up the walls and food waste down the back of their radiators, as well as the sea of binbags in the back yard area. Wouldnt normally leave a review, nor did we expect much on arrival but this place needs an inspection and condeming. Had to drive home in the end.

- James (4/5): - Wifi didn't connect to the room 6 as it was to far away they also wasn't any plug sockets apart from one so had to out kettle on the floor while I made a brew , it was very loud on a night the next door neighbour spend the night partying and kicking the wall it sounded like that anyway paid for 2 nights left after 1 night
- phil (9/5): -
- Vicky (3/5): It was a bed and somewhere for all of us to get our heads down, owner was really nice, friendly, polite, but unfortunate - Location was close to everything. Very outdated, one of our rooms wasn’t ready when we arrived, staff hadn’t shown up (housekeeping) hadn’t been to do rooms owner was having to do them on her own and she wasn’t well or up for it, the bedroom my kids were in was very musty they said it was damp and the next morning their clothes were damp, rubbish under the bunk beds, window cracked in places, lights didn’t work, no remote to the tv, drawers wouldn’t open in the dresser, wallpaper coming off of the wall, the double room which me and my husband were in not enough pillows on the bed, too low down, bed rock hard we both woke up with bad backs and hurt, only one tea cup in the room, window wouldn’t close.
- Alex (1/5): -
- Claudia (1/5): The worst experience in my life! - There is no breakfast, only a kettle with coffee and sugar sachets.
Location is ok. The room is disgusting. It hasn't been cleaned for at least 6 months.Underneath and next to the bed it was extremely dirty. People inside the guest house were drinking alcohol and smoking marihuana. The smoke alarm went off twice during the early morning, I almost jad a heart attack because of the noise. I didn't feel safe, I was about to call the police myself. The people in charge didn't apologise for the noise. That place shouldn't be allowed to be open. Please send inspection ASAP!
- Alan (9/5): -
- Paul (5/5): ok - Location was good, breakfast not included in price. It was ok for the price
- Anderson (1/5): - It was dirty and no hot water u have repitrd to u would like my money back had to up grad to another accomadtion South beach was a Palace to wat we stayed it shower was filthy real disappointment
- Jason (2/5): Avoid the wishing well guesthouse - Where do I start, start with the rooms we had 2 rooms,1 for myself and 1 for my sister and her daughter.my sisters bed had bed bugs,my room the taps on the sink did not work.1 bathroom shared for 10 rooms.the bathroom no shower door, the taps did not work .no cups supplied for tea or coffee.
- Thomas (1/5): - Nothing very disgusting Everything the room was dirty n moldy
- Kelly (1/5): -
- Damien (5/5): -
- Tim (4/5): -
- Jessie (3/5): Dissappointing, underwhelming and upsetting. - It was close to another family members accommodation in the next street. I didnt like that I had 3 children staying with me & we had to exit our bedroom and walk 2 doors down to use the toilet and have a shower etc. The bathroom isnt big enough to get changed in there so you have to walk from the room to your bedroom in just a towel and there were people waiting to use the bathroom at one point, its very embarrassing. The inside and outside of the property are not clean and littered with cigarettes and even a dirty nappy. The TV didnt work in our room, there was only 1 working plug socket and the radiator was falling off the wall. At one point my son dropped his toy and it rolled under the bed, when we moved the bed to retrieve it we were greeted with drug paraphernalia. We were also woken up at 3/4 and 6am to shouting and swearing outside, which I guess isnt really the accommodations fault but just added to the negative experience. We didnt see or talk to the host(s) at all and were given our keys by (I assume, due to clothing) the housekeeper. The beds were very springy with dirty bedsheets too. It was a nightmare to find a parking space we were driving around for over an hour and ended up having to pay £11 for parking for just a few hours.
- William (8/5): -
- Finley (1/5): Poor poor I would never go back - There nothing in that hotel to like Everything about it the cleannes it's disgusting, there blood all over the shared bathroom, there as mould in bedroom felt like a prison wasn't worth nearly 400 for a weekend, no one was there when had to leave the keys in the letter box, it wasn't safe for no children defo no good for family's for sure
- james (10/5): - Was amazing really gud kind staff
- Dickinson (10/5): Exceptional - The bed The broken cupboard
- Cory (6/5): Pleasant -
- Alex (1/5): Bad - The location , the male manager was brilliant with me Nd my partner The lady manager, threatening behaviour towards for nothing . We weren't loud at all , we used our toilet threwout the night and becuae her room was underneath ours and she had family problems she was drunk and took it out on us .
Dog poo under the bunk bed , didn't even offer to clean it up
- Awan (5/5): Passable -
- Rhodes (6/5): Pleasant -
- John (1/5): Bad - The staff were friendly and helpful but that's about it as bed bugs in room 5 on first night. Avoid room 5 it's got bed bugs in it in head board bed etc. Needs to be seriously sorted out by ripping everything out of room as a health risk and fumigated until bugs gone. Luckily got moved to another room next day next door in driftwood hotel which was much better .
- John (5/5): Passable - Having room with private toilet and shower was good Avoid room 5 it's got bed bugs in headboard bed etc in wishing well hotel. I got moved to another room next day was ok
- Amy (2/5): Very poor -
- Ganesh (8/5): Very good -
- Emma (3/5): Poor -
- Morgan (1/5): Very poor - Nothing Everything the whole place was dirty
- Keith (9/5): Spacious property and nice comfort - The room was very good. The air in the hot weather circulated all around the room good and well during the heatwave. The WIFI works great. Fresh towels on arrival. The bed was soft and comfy. Kettle and cups in room and free tea provided. The owner and staff are all lovely. Always nearby if you need any refreshments. Location also a bonus. The only thing that I could have done with was a refrigerator and maybe a facility to warm up cooked food but I already knew this before arrival so I scored a high 9 instead of 10 just for this reason.
- Tom (6/5): Would stay again if theses things were improvedgreat price great room . Noisr and smoking dirty toilet a put off . No - Bed was good room size Toilet not clean hanging on by 2 srews people smoking weed running up stairs shouting made to wait 20 mins to check in
- Hayley (5/5): Well the room we changed to wasn’t the best I would say it was more like a jail as it still had stuff that looked like i - Well we had to change to different hotel We didn’t get to stay in there as we had to change last minute without even telling us off the change
- Mark (1/5): Bad - Only the location We will put on the top floor when I had two elderly gentlemen with me it was like being in a prison cell had to even go and ask for just the basics like toilet roll there was nothing in the room
- Lyn (8/5): Good stay at the wishing well. - Friendly staff, more than happy to help. Sea front just at the end of the Rd. Near St Chad's tram stop. I'd book again. my room was comfy and clean. TV aerial didn't work but it wasn't an issue as I've plenty TV things on my phone. So no moans.
- Ms (9/5): Superb - The staff are really great and accommodating and helped carry my luggage. The couple who run it are really friendly and down to earth. I've stayed here before loads and they are always friendly and helpful. Which goes a long way.
- Ms (9/5): Superb - The staff were great; helpful and accommodating
Really pleased with my room and good value for money.
- Piotr (10/5): Exceptional -
- Derek (5/5): Passable -
- Piotr (10/5): Exceptional - Location, location, location
- Monica (2/5): Very poor - Dirty, untidy, dirty beddings. Beddings had not been changed for may be weeks. I could not stay, so I had to another hotel. They used false picture to advertise. I did not stay in this hotel. See above. I did not stay there.
- Adam (1/5): Bad -

- Bishop (7/5): Good - Good location Couldn't shut window, latch broken, bit breezy
- Leah (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed my stay and I have booked another stay here.
- Mcdermott (1/5): Bad -
- Nathan (1/5): Bad - Nothing Music on all hours then back on at 6am wasn't even in the rooms was from the owner which I found totally embarrassing I want a refund as me and my kids didnt sleep then because they was that tired didn't want to do anything
- Shaka (1/5): Bad -
- Mohammad (6/5): Amazing stay overall - The location was perfect basically a stone throw from the sea front and the staff were perfect. The room wasn't big or spacious as low cielinfs but my stay comfortable through out the 5 nights I stayed and would return. The rooms didn't have a on suite and due to personal hygiene concerns I don't like to use shared showers and no products to shower or to wash with
- Sandel (6/5): Pleasant - THE staff was very friendly and made me feel comfortable 😊 Most nights, the doors were being bang and shouting kids, running up and down the stairs and it kept me a wake
- Alison (8/5): Very good -
- Doublesix (3/5): Well Below Par This Time - Convenient location for beach, prom, piers, shops, tower & public transport links.
Friendly staff.
Reasonable for the price paid at weekend.
Double bed in single room Very ooor standard of housekeeping
A bedroom door off its hinges.
No toilet paper in shared bathroom for 3 nights
Kettle in room reeked of urine
TV no signal, no remote control
No water from hot tap in room sink or bathroom
Filthy wet towels left on floor in shower rooms
A disappointing experience compared to previous stays
- Craig (4/5): Disappointing -
- Paul (1/5): Bad - Soon as we got there the music was loud and the lady took a dislike to my partner and said we could not stay there so we never got to the room her partner tried to fight with my partner so we left and I had to pay another £135.00 to stay in another b& b so the start of my week end trip was awful so I would never book a hotel on booking. Com again The b& b I eventually got was great and the weekend was great
- Mark (3/5): Poor -
- Piotr (10/5): Exceptional -
