Man merkt jede Feder. Möbel sehr alt und Stoff schmutzig. Generell ganzes Haus angestaubt. Lieblose Herberge
- Greiner (7/5): - Hotel within easy reach of the City. Small single room with shared bathroom
- Miller (3/5): - The location The mattresses you could feel every spring and when you moved you could here and feel them in the double and in the singles
- Harry (8/5): - Good location.
- Jan Carey (8/5): Fine for short stay and near town centre - Location was good and near all amenities and close to town centre. The double bed was broken underneath and could do with being replaced or repaired.
The older chair in the room looked grubby compared to other newer one.
Behind headboard was full of dust which did not sit well with my family.
Sengene kunne have været bedre.

- Faye (5/5): OK place for one night in Oban - The location was just a short walk to harbor and all the stores and restaurants. Parking was available across the street but only limited spaces and we had to pay a small amount to park there. We were lucky and got a space. The rooms were comfortable. It was a bit warm but we were able to open the skylights to cool the room down; there was also a fan. It was a cute, traditional guest house. We never saw any staff during our whole stay. Although we arrived during the posted check-in time (3:00-6:00), no one was there at the check-in and the keys were taped to the door. It wasn't a problem but there was no one to welcome us or answer any questions. For breakfast, no staff was available to provide more milk, and there were no instructions as to what to do with our dishes, so we just left them. Everything went well but it was disconcerting to not have any staff available.

- Gusmão (9/5): lovely stay with friends! - really friendly hosts, fair breakfast per price, flexibility in check in and out, comfy beds. I didn't notice when booking that the bathroom was shared but it was fine, I guess we were the only ones staying for the night.
- michelle (8/5): - Comfy room, nice shower , central location Be nice if it had a cooked breakfast option
- Tracy (5/5): - The location was very good. Check in / good. It was a comfortable bed, the building is very dated. Could really do with a few repairs. Limited breakfast, but enough for a short journey home.

- William (5/5): Wouldn't recommend it very poor - Location good breakfast very poor room window looked onto old shed Could have been cleaner bed felt plastic under sheet no view small room breakfast terrible.
- Ahmad (5/5): Not comfortable, Overall very expensive for the price, not a great value for money. - Close to the centre, walking distance from the harbour and easy to access all the attractions. Lots of food options nearby.
Easy communication with the team. Firstly was left with wrong keys for the room and it took a while to realise after twisting and turning in the key whole.
Too warm in summers, only a small table fan provided so if you’re travelling with kids this will be a problem.
The rooms are not quiet, there was loud music coming through the whole night which affects sleep.
Beds are not comfy and mattresses just are too soft and you feel like sinking in.
There’s no wifi signal in the round the corner family room, I tried with open doors as well but no luck.
Breakfast is very light and not much options.
Overall very expensive for the price. Not a great value for money.
- Eddie (7/5): It was Excellent - Very good for Breakfast and excellent for Location Everything was good
- Janine (10/5): Authentic Scottish guest house experience - Authentic Scottish guest house experience, amazing location, we could walk everywhere nothing

- Ryan (10/5): -
- Jans (3/5): Cheep booking reflects hospitality and facility. - The property outside was lovely but dated inside and good location The radiator in room didn’t heat properly. Very dusty and noisy at night from other properties. Check in was next door to accommodation. No early access allowed despite the weather being horrendous. Large puddle at entrance of check in and where room was. This meant feet were soaking and room cold and no where to dry. Breakfast poor and dining room cramped
- Justin (8/5): -
Exellente ambiance!! Rien...
- Roxane (6/5): Bon hôtel or petit déjeuner... - La grande salle de bain
Lit confortable Petit dejeuner tres mediocre, seulement sucré.
- Dee (4/5): - Expensive No one available.
U R on Ur own
- Lynn (8/5): Return to Oban. - The contact made sure we were safely installed, this being a late check in. The property was lovely and warm and our rooms cosy and comfortable. Plenty of tea, coffee and milk provided. The location is excellent.
- Siobhan (7/5): Ok for a one night stay - Last minute booking. Old style guest house. Clean room
- Nina (8/5): -
- Ange (5/5): - Good location Breakfast
- Traub-Merz (5/5): - vieles funktional Empfang technisch kühl; Bettmatratze tief einsinkend.
- Adrian (9/5): - Nice view outside the window, good breakfast. Very accommodating owner. The cupboard was a bit loose. The beds were semi comfortable.
- Adam (6/5): -
- Marcus (2/5): Not a great place unless you’re desperate - Location How long have you got…….?
1 bath shared with 6
Non existent staff apart from check in
Take it or leave it attitude of check in staff
Poor response on contacting via messages
Cameras facing into rooms poorly repaired door lock
- Graham (3/5): -
- Rosalba (8/5): -
- Noelia (6/5): Ubicació ok - Ubicació. Edifici victorià a prop del port. Oban molt xulo. Matalàs fatal, no hem dormit gens bé. Llit fet malament amb llençols no ben posats. Sales antigues i plenes d'objectes.
- Elena (7/5): -
- RHODA BELLA (7/5): Overall stay is Good. - Location. Comfy for just overnight stay. Shops and take aways just around the corner. Breakfast could have options of fruits or cooked breakfast.
- Posizione buona. Check-in rapido. Da ristrutturare in toto.
- Rizzalyn (3/5): Overpriced. Not worth the money. - Staff was very rude.
- Bart (7/5): -
- Sharon (7/5): Had a lovely couple of days in Oban - Great location.Clean and comfortable A little expensive for this b&b Iv stayed it better b&bs for and hotels for a lot less.but I guess it’s because of the location they can put prices up .
Minimaal ontbijt.
Stopcontacten onbereikbaar achter bed en nachtkastje
Veel te duur voor wat je krijgt.
- sylwia (10/5): -
- Werner (6/5): bei geringen Ansprüchen zufriedenstellend - Optimale Zentrumslage Gemeinschaftbad
- Lisa (9/5): Good place - Beautiful views. Well presented breakfast. Few sharp edges coming down from the family room.
- Lesley (7/5): -
- Edward (7/5): -
- May (4/5): - Location was good only thing no parking near Toilet was not good broken shower head toilet brush disgusting beds very squeaky
- Megan (10/5): - Good spot
- Gisela (3/5): Wouldn't go there again - Location The room was not clean and very small. Just could walk past the bed and no room to put luggage. The bed was lumpy. The breakfast wasn't very good. The staff weren't helpful giving information
- Julian (5/5): basic accomodation, good location, overpriced for what it was. - Location was good, parking nearby was readily available (but you had to pay between 9 and 6). Room was ok. No staff on site (next door between 4 and 6 for check in only, and then took a lot of time to organise requests like oat milk, decaff coffee or tea). Expensive for what it was. Breakfast was rather limited help yourself continental style. No lift, upstairs rooms.
- Simon (6/5): Basic but comfortable - The rooms were spacious but basic, comfortable beds. Breakfast was basic, as there is no kitchen from what we could see.
- nigel (6/5): - Location good .For the money was an exceptable overnight stay room comfortable and clean
good shower. Breakfast was a bit basic some fruit would have been nice
- Ulrika (5/5): - Läget och prisvärd frukost
- Andrew (1/5): not nice but shit happens. - Oban is the perfect tourist place to see and do nice things also good places to eat,the people are friendly to. Had to leave room for 3 hours in soaking rain for plumming to be done then asked ro move room 2 days prior to leaving asked for £50 compentation host agreed to this but has no given ot at all why did you advertise this property incortectly it was drty broken door, and not value for money she liied to me on several occasions and why was i asked to move 2days before leaving when she said i will try to get something better on the day of arrival it is unfair to yreat guests int his way especially as travel all over Scotland ans why did she agree to give a partial refund i am not happy with this booking and iam not happy with booking .com i will try to contact the scottish tourist board and resolve this matter.
- Kristine (10/5): - Loved it, would definitely come again.
- Ewan (4/5): Over priced and run down. - The place is terribly run-down; there are no staff on-site. The heater knob came off in our hand when we tried to turn it off. We rang the mobile number; they said it automatically turns off at 12 midnight. Nobody came the following day, and theres no air-conditioning. The toilet seat was too small for the toilet, so it kept sliding around every time you used it, no ensuite some rooms have a toilet and they all tend to have a small sink. Don't stay here; it smells old and musky, and there's no staff around if you have an issue. There are a lot of nice places in Oban with free off street parking this is not one of them they also own next door its also run down and musky the carpets stunk.
- Conachan (2/5): - The location was good As soon as you walk into the house it's like the 70s so poorly decorated. Room was tiny and so old fashioned needs a serious upgrade. Shower was fine but small. Very creeky floor boards need replacing. Window didn't open properly and view was a roof badly needing repair. Glad it was only for one night not going to recommended it.
- Bernard (8/5): -
- Anna (8/5): -
- Thomas (7/5): -
- Peter (8/5): - Location Bed was quite small
- Johnson (10/5): -
- Ria (10/5): Everything was good…👍 - All good…😊 Nothing 😊
- Lucyna (8/5): - great contact with the host. in the center close to everywhere. breakfasts included in the price only sandwiches and jam, yogurt and cereal with milk. A bit difficult for diabetics.
- Dina (8/5): -
- Margaret (9/5): -
- Lesley (2/5): Dreadful and never again. - Location The room, the small uncomfortable bed, the dark rooms, dreadful breakfast. Very worn and dated.
- Dawn (8/5): -
- Andrew (6/5): -
- Jillian (5/5): - It’s fairly central and easy to get to places in Oban. Mouldy shower, “breakfast” not that fresh.
- Janet (10/5): excellent - excellent place so clean and comfortable would recommend to all friends and family made our time in oban there was noughing
- Julie (5/5): - The place smelt foosty but I suppose it done the job for one night. Very dusty and grimy.
- Mcdonald (5/5): - Liked the area as it was handy for what we needed. Didn't like the floor below us stayed up all night, swearing shouting, etc.
The toilet water kept rising, and the smell of smoke downstairs was very off-putting, so we never ate on the place.
I wouldn't pay anymore than what we paid.
I emailed to change the shared bathroom at the very beginning and emailed a second time to remind them. I was told I was lucky I reminded them, as that's not what I was getting. When I said oh I did email on booked she said aye emails get lost. I got a reply at the beginning, so it can't have been that lost.
- Scott (6/5): -
- Ken (6/5): The accommodation was comfortable, warm and had everything that we required. - The accommodation was in a central location, the room was warm on arrival and we were able to park our bikes at the back of the building. The continental breakfast was well organised with cereal, toast, various jams and yoghurt in the fridge. The tops were missing off the taps which made them difficult to turn on and off. We struggled to switch on the bedside lights. The overall impression was a bit outdated/shabby.
- Claire (7/5): Comfortable nights stay. - Host was extremely helpful and the location was great. Could do with a bit of upgrading but it is advertised as 2 star budget accommodation.
- william (1/5): Nightmare guest house - There is nothing positive to say. From the very first moments in the guest house, we felt as though we were a nuisance to the staff. Very unfriendly. Worst guest house stay ever. As stated, we were not made welcome from the minute we arrived. My partner had asked me if I had the keys, and the person dealing with us interjected rudely and sharply saying, "I'm getting to that." Scrutinised my bank card in front of me as though I was some kind of scammer, very rude. The room was small, heating on full blast and windows heavy to open and wouldn't stay open. We had to jam the window open with our bag. Shouldn't advertise breakfast cos it's not even a continental one,, it was a cereal and toast. I would highly recommend against booking this guest house in fact, I would advise booking.com to remove it from there site.
- Angie-Perle (10/5): -
- Andrew (10/5): - Had a lovely stay at Glengorn Guest House when visiting for the Royal Mòd. Check in was quick and easy, room was clean and tidy with an assortment of tea , coffee and some biscuits. I had opted for a room with shared bathroom which was spotless and close to the room. The accommodation is incredibly close to almost anything you could want and a short walk away from the train and bus stations.
- Sproson (8/5): -
- Lindsay (7/5): -
- Koray (1/5): RUDE AND UNHELPFUL STAFF, SUBSTANDARD FOR THE PRICE. - Nothing The heating was on full and could not be turned off. It was a 24c day. The female in receptionist was patronising and unhelpful. After viewing the room, which was substandard for the price, we decided not to stay. I informed the female in reception that we would be leaving and asked for a refund. I then returned to the room to gather our bags. When I returned to reception, the female receptionist had left, and there was no other staff available. I raised a complaint with Booking.com asking for a refund. However, we were not granted one. The room was booked 15 min before our arrival due to our original accommodation being double booked. After 5 minutes at this property, we decided to leave, so there was no reason why we could not have a refund. Overall, very poor!!!!
